Your are right. This whole subject needs it's own thread.

But getting back to the water supply -- when you look at a map of Texas, it is full of rivers all over the state. But assuming those rivers cannot provide sufficient irrigation, Texas sits on the Gulf of Mexico. So what's to stop Texas from desalinating tons and tons of water and piping it all over the state? This would be a major project and a part of the infrastructure paid for by tax dollars. But if Israel can successfully desalinate and use sea water, so can anyone else. Texans need to think "outside the box".

Israel Proves the Desalination Era Is Here
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/israel-proves-the-desalination-era-is-here/
Israel now gets 55 percent of its domestic water from desalination, and that has helped to turn one of the world’s driest countries into the unlikeliest of water giants.

The maps from years ago are useless they need to redraw them. I'm beginning to start to think that the whole reason in pushing the "fake news" agenda was to keep those on the east coast from realizing that from deep into Mexico and all the way from the west cost to Texas are already drying out. I don't know how many times I've shown article after article here on CC of the five or so lakes that Dallas gets it's water from drying up or that the toilet water from Dallas goes into the Trinity river and flows downhill to Houston then they divert it,treat it and it becomes the Houston water supply. The Rio grand is drying up,the Sabine is drying up,the Brazos is drying up and the underground water table is drying up. There's 179 million people in Mexico and 38 million people in Texas and untold millions from the west coast to the 100th meridian. I suppose in a few more years we will all pack it up and try to head for the eastern US to where it's still green because there's still water. I sure hope they don't build a wall and shoot us with rubber bullets and tear gas too.

Wowser. Looks like some animals are more equal than others.....
The tyranny of the Left is now unquestionable. Who is going to lock up Letitia James, Judge Engoron, Fani Willis, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris (for starters)? Let's see the famed Marines do their duty. Or are they too busy getting transgendered?

Galveston and Houston
(You meant "renouncing" but that is OK. Typos happen).

What you should also recognize is that if any state became a conservative independent nation, it would hopefully leave all the federal baggage and waste behind. If Texas went with a strictly conservative government (and actually banned Communism), it would do the following:
1. Reduce the income tax to a flat tax of 10% of gross income (personal or corporate) and keep tax filing simply. Just one page showing gross income and 10% tax.
2. Totally eliminate tax deductions and tax credits.
3. Maintain strictly balanced budgets, with no deficit spending, and no government borrowing.
4. Make a commitment to use tax funds strictly for essential government services and infrastructure. No pork, no subsidies, no wasteful expenditures.
5, Reduce government agencies, politicians, and bureaucracy to an absolute minimum, and focus on law enforcement.
6. Make free enterprise the bedrock of the economy, and not interfere with the private sector.
7. Leave retirement planning to the private sector.
8. Block all imports from China, or impose very heavy tariffs.
9. Encourage the manufacturing of all goods and products within Texas itself.
10. Make doing business with Mexico contingent upon no border violations, no drugs, no trafficking.
11. Eliminate the welfare state, the nanny state, homelessness, etc. Make able-bodied people work for a living.
12. Go back to the gold standard instead of fiat currency.

These are all common sense measures which all governments avoid. But if people pay less in taxes and retain more of their income (while well paying jobs are in abundant supply, and unemployment is minimal), they can actually put aside huge savings for retirement, or any other purpose.
Look who’s sitting in his armchair up in Canada telling us how to do our business.😂

You mean a supporter/member of Congress who actually cares about the "state of the union" that is a problem in your book?
Now look at the real major election interference which will happen later. The Constitution means nothing to these Communists, since this will be the culmination of the Bolshevik Revolution in America. And the RINOs will play along (as usual):
Poll: Majority of Democrats Oppose Certification of 2024 Election If Donald Trump Wins

In a Rasmussen poll: Over 50% of Democrats said they would support a decertification of the election if Trump wins.

The question was not "if Trump steals the election" it was "If Trump wins the election". This is who you are dealing with when talking to about half of Democrats: thieves, liars and crooks.

The CCP influencers embedded in the Democrat plumbing have accomplished much.

Welp.....America is rudderless and heading for jagged reefs.
The prognosis could not be more dire.

Pray that the rapture happens soon. That is the only upside that I can see in all of this.

If you knew how to do your business, Texas would not be the mess it now is!

There was a time when Texas was outstanding, but the Communists hijacked Texas (like the rest of America and Canada). And since you know zero about my relationships and connections in the USA, you would be wise to listen up instead of mocking.
