( here’s where he refers to how demons respond to Christ ) Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? ( they know God exists and is true and will torment the wicked but they continue on doing wickedness thier actions don’t bear out thier belief like it’s supposed to )
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? ( genesis 22:16-18 posted below )
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

“and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

that’s when God confirmed the covenant with Abraham when Abraham acted in faith.

God said it first and Abraham believed
“And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.”

later Abraham’s faith was put to the test and he acted upon it which fulfilled and confirmed Gods word to him beforehand
“And it came to pass after these things, that God did test Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.”

abraham obeyed and then God confirms the covenant promise based in n abrahams action of faith

Demons won’t repent of evil like many people won’t repent
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. knowing God exists and even that he died for us isnt faith it’s when we repent believe him and act upon his word all creation will one day understand and believe God exists they will see him but it won’t save them we need to wake up and begin to live like God is true
many don’t like to hear that but it’s true
