Whats the difference between you thinking to yourself.....and the inner voice.
My thought our of me, the inner voice that speaks to my spirit is God.

Abiding,this is a bible discussion forum on hearing his voice, can we discuss that?
What is your opinion on the subject,lets discuss it,what do you think about it please,
would love to hear from you on this.
We are told to see the Lord we are told noone has seen him. We are told to hear His voice,but it doesnt mean
with sound. Both of these are true but its done in our inner man by the Spirit.

Eph1:18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,



2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Acts 26:18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

Colossians 2:2 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,

Ephesians 3:16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

Amen Abiding!It is the inner man, I was just thinking about how flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God.
What are your thought on that?

Hmm not sure what you may be thinking..all that comes to me is that Jesus said handle me im flesh and bone.
And since we will be changed like Him, we will be flesh and bone and immortal and incoruptable in heaven.
Or you may be thinking about being bornagain. no other thoughts at the moment

once I needed a job, I got on my knees and I prayed to GOD, "Lord I really need a job, I have tried for 4 months on my own and still nothing, please help me, tell me what to do and I'll do it" and like a child I knew He would answer me. I kept my brain clear and didn't try to think of anything because I trusted the Lord to answer me. Then in my head and my heart came this message "help the Yoders" I knew who they were they bought the land next door and I saw them working outside sometimes, so I obediently said "okay" and I walked away and the next day I took a shovel over there and helped mr Yoder dig. Turns out he is a preacher. Within an hour his son drove up, he had spiritually clear eyes and a quick smile he seemed amused by the stranger working hard with his father. He said to his father "looks like you've got quite a worker here" his dad said "yep he came over just to help, he is quite a worker" anthony said" I can see that" it was the middle of the week and he asked me "do you have a job?" I said "no" he said are you looking?" I said yes, he said I just put an add in the paper for a mason's assistant, if you are interested the job is yours.

One day I stayed the night at my friends house and I was about to go to bed and God put it in my heart to read the bible. I knew it was Him because it was not something I had tried to think about, I just felt I needed to. So I asked Rob for a bible. He said he didn't have one. I asked about his mother he said no and she was at work. He handed me a book on martial arts. I took it to my room and again in my heart was this strong feeling to read the bible. I looked up and said matter of factly "I would love to read your word Lord, but if you want me to read the bible you will have to show me one" in the other room was an audible THUD where I knew was a bookshelf I rose from the bed and smiled knowing what I would find. I found books scattered where they had fallen with a large beatiful white bible in plain view in the pile.

one time I had been blinded in my eye by a thorn, I was yelling at GOD because I thought he had taken that which was mine and I coveted, my sight. In the middle of yelling at him he placed into my head 3 entire paragraphs of information that changed forever how I viewed life, he did it in the middle of my sentence, mouth still opened with words, He inturrupted me and it was faster than a computer download at the speed of lightening I knew every word and could repeat it verbatim for 3 months. God talks to us in many different forms.. Rule one, you must fully trust Him to answer you, Rule two, don't think when you wait. Rule 3, don't give Him a timeline be content to wait however long it takes rule 4 when He puts it in your head or on your heart don't question Him. Have the faith that even if you happened to be wrong you asked and truly believed it was from Him He will reward you for your faith.

I believe Jesus sounds like himself in Scripture. That is the voice we should hear. We should hear the Scripture and nothing against the Scripture is Jesus' voice because He is not against himself.

I will keep praying you turn to my God. As long as you push him away you can't hear him.
