One rule was given to keep Adam's life intact.
That rule would not apply to anyone but Adam and the woman, not us.

The Law was given to all Israel by Moses. Adam did not have that Law.

Adam was not created fallen.
He had no need to become saved until after he broke that one rule.
Therefore, that one rule could not save him, but rather, to keep him from becoming what would need to be saved.

You need to repent and lay off communing with those spirits.
They will effect your ability to concentrate.
listen don't try and put words in mouth I haven't said.

Your just here to argue.

Your a force feeder of the word.

Your also applying scripture that doesn't belong to Adam and eve before the fall, and so many others are also leading by your totally back to front reasoning.

I may as well be talking to the wall talking to you.

I've been stupid enough to give you another chance, but your obviously just intent on being Mr authority, by trying to make people look stupid and demonising people.

Your just another person who comes to cc thinking they know it all.

Fear wasn't an emotion experienced until after sin...we hid because we were afraid. Shame as well. Later with Cain, anger and depression were introduced.
Before sin there is no record of any of them.
Do you believe that Adam was created without emotion? Scripture says "be angry, and sin not" so emotion doesn't necessarily imply a sin, although it might indicate the toward sin.

Say that you are afraid there might be a monster under your bed, you'd heard that's where they like to hang out. And then you look at see that yes, if you were a monster, that's exactly where you'd hang out and so you believe it... and so you pee the bed because you don't want to put your feet down onto the floor...

Sure. Man was made in the image of God so he would naturally have emotions as God does. But before sin I think Adam and Eve only knew joy and love and peace, etc. I believe a whole new set of emotions arose after sin. And while it is possible to be angry and sin not, I find that to be seldom the case.

Emotions themselves are very real and are generally good indicators of the existence of a problem. But following emotions tends to exacerbate problems.

Oh I don't know about that.

After Satan's fall, BEFORE MAN WAS CREATED, the angelic realm was in ANGUISH and CHAOS. Even to this present day. And shall continue until.....verse 10. Finally relief. Not total relief, but a lot of it.

Furthermore, it is quite likely that Satan had been in the garden tempting and testing Adam many many times. And never succeeded. Satan changed his playbook and struck at the weak link the Woman in a gambit to destroy the Man and his seed. And worse yet, there were severe judgements meted out because of the CHAOS AND LIES that Satan had been merchandising all this time.

So yea, there was ALREADY conflict in the garden and the Woman was surely trammeled with doubt and envy and even perhaps fear (who knows how many times) even BEFORE she ate.

Rev 12:7
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Rev 12:8
And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Rev 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 12:10
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

I would urge everyone on this thread to hear this. I cannot overstate the worth of these lectures....
The myths of Adam and Eve need to be banished. And there are far far too many of them.

I already see a couple have claimed speculation.

I will only add this much to your thoughts. The Bible said Adam "was not" deceived and only that Eve "was" deceived.

So Satan had some kind of inclination to who he should attack. He always attacks our weakest parts. Kind of like how the Amalekites attacked the Hebrew people from behind where the weaker older women and men were at.

But there is one fact for certain. Satan did not attack Adam because he knew he could not deceive Adam. That usually means from experience or some kind of understanding he knew that God made a difference between Adam and Eve.

But what we do know, Satan knew to approach Eve and he was successful. So he did his homework and got it right.

And of course, this was the "First Attack" upon humanity. Second was Genesis 6, third was Genesis 12.

Speculating? Read Job and all of Satan's machinations and lies. One can easily deduce much from all of what Satan is said to say and do. And very confidently dovetail that into the scenario at the Garden.

This man is a cut above. The contrast between a dime a dozen preacher vs this guy is like the difference between your local tobogganing hill and Mount Everest.

I have learned more from Chronister in the last 2 years then the previous 25. Not an exaggeration.

In my many e-mails I have expressed my eternal debt to him and all of his stupendous efforts.

Please pray for Pastor Chronister, as he is suffering from life-threatening kidney disease.

He is crying out for salvation from death, not from life's struggles. Paul is revealing the state of man without salvation from death but having been awakened to God consciousness.

Christians don't have a struggle with the flesh because they are in Christ and He has overcome. The fact we struggle with sin experientially is because we need to grow in the knowledge of Christ by means of His grace. As we do that, we struggle less.

If a Christian who has walked with the Lord a long time is still struggling with sin? They need to rethink how they are walking. This is not to say we won't sin, but we should not be constantly struggling with it, the struggle should lessen as we grow.
Sanctification is indeed a lifelong process but to say that Christians do not struggle with the lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh etc. this side of eternity is a proud statement and God lovingly chastises His children at times by handing them over to the sin that they hate in order to make or keep them humble which is a lesson it seems that you are yet to learn.

if you don't know why it is good to keep your plans away from the enemy, I have to wonder if you know the Lord at all. o_O
I have to wonder if you truly know the Lord if you think that God doesn't justly blind some people to the truth.

2Th 2:11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
2Th 2:12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

On the contrary, the fact that 1 Timothy 2:14 says that "Adam was not deceived" is proof positive that Satan DID in fact test him probably multiple times. And never succeeded.

And then came the skullduggery with the woman.

And remember that the Woman had to be alone when the temptation was occurring. For one reason or another Adam was not around to protect and defend Eve at this critical juncture.

Therefore Adam must've been tempted at some earlier point in time.

there's no ifs about it God desires all men to be saved.

What happens is as the heart grows, if it doesn't repent and walk with the lord it will grow evil where there is no return probably.

God wants to save you before that happens
God indeed desires all types of men to be saved but not every single man without exception which would be contrary to His sovereign decree to save those whom He loves and for whom Christ died.

Does God desire to save those He justly casts into Hell or the Antichrist?

Pro 16:4 The LORD has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.

Satan attacked Eve. Not Adam.
Actually it is clear that Satan did previously attack Adam and failed. Miserably.

Furthermore it is clear that Adam in effect outwitted and defeated Satan at his own game.
By sacrificing himself and trusting in his God.

In a roundabout way, Adam defeated Satan the most powerful and intelligent being in God's creation. A truly remarkable feat.
