Well, you're one of them whether you realize it or not. It might help if you look into the subject instead of making baseless claims.
You do not know what you talk about. Arminianism and Calvinism are both wrong.

You need to make everything to be ABC simple. For simple minded, impatient souls.

Lynch mobs used to be formed on your way of thinking.....

It is a different account at Geneis 2:4; but you didn't that in the day doesn't mean the length of one earthtide, rather it just means which earthtide it was done. Please explain where it says it only took one YoM.

The elevations and the earth were created first in one tide, which leaves 5 more tides of creation. I could be mistaken. Also, the word translated from Hebrew as Heaven means elevation, peak or mountain, not sky or expanse

Okay, you don't defend it, but you seem to believe the "theory".

This doesn't make semantic sense. please edit and repost.

I don't take any of the insults personally. The Lord showed perfect humility and perseverance when said " Father forgive them for they know not what they do".
That showed that men hate the truth so much that they are prepared to kill those who proclaim the truth.
You sure are killing me.
Ha ha ha ha ha! Ouch! My ribs!

My pastor one day suddenly stopped in the middle of his teaching lesson.

There was silence............(paused a few seconds)

Then, he began teaching again...

He said..

................... Dumb can not get it.
(another few second pause)
....... Stupid will not get it.

There is a difference.

Stupid is not the same as being dumb.
A stupid person can have a high IQ.
Stupid is willful ignorance.

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid." Proverbs 12:1
That's God's Word folks.

grace and peace ...........

We are all born enemies of God, and dead in our sin and trespasses. But we don't know who God has purposed to save, so we can't give up hope on anyone but we can judge them according to their fruits. Most confuse my judgement with Gods final judgement, I have tried to explain that I don't poses the authority to pass the final judgement, that's Gods business.

Men hate the truth? Your sure proving that to be the case.

Ha ha Ha ! You have no ability to exegete even the first one of your calvinist proof texts, and you aspire to be a Calvinist pastor. You are apparently ideally-qualified for that role.

The emperor has no clothes. I will wait patiently for you to do some independent real thinking of your own, and deal with the substance I have place before you from Gen. 1 and 2. I have good news for you. You can be a disciple of Jesus Christ, even a better disciple, without holding on to Calvinist nonsense. You won't have to give up Christianity, only Calvinism, when you realise how very wrong you are.
Well, you haven't identified yourself yet. So I don't know what you believe and please don't tell me you believe and tremble as the Demons do. Believing someone exists and believing in them as in placing your faith in them are two different types of belief.

You haven't given me a reason why you deny what God said about sinners dying. You claim God was just talking about a slow painful death of the body, but that doesn't make any sense to me or any other respected theologian

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training
in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

For someone who wants to take responsibility to shepherd over God's people?
You are scary bad at understanding that basic vital truth....
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about
by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its
origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as
they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21

...............
You took my response to another member out of context. He tried to discredit the great John Calvin by saying he didn't write the TULIP table, so I turned his attack back on him by saying Jesus didn't write the bible. So you can relax brother, I haven't lost my faith

Still waiting for the damning evidence and the revelation of this mysterious third option. Talk is cheap, how about some facts

You picked the wrong thing to use.....

At best... It was sloppy thinking trying to come up with an answer that ended up treating something sacred as if it were common....
You're still not thinking with integrity for God's Word.

You need better teaching than you are getting.
Either that, or you are misrepresenting the one whom you are learning from....

TULIP is a cruel doctrine as long as its proponents remain uncorrectable.
It presents an insane, limited God .. Then uses "sovereignty" as a means to sweep that factor under the carpet.

TULIP promotes an ironic form of "righteous dishonesty" in those wishing to keep upholding it..

God can not condemn what He created to be condemned. Its oxymoronic logic..

Arminianism was a *reaction.* An emergency stop gap solution until something better could be revealed.

And, you? You are flexing your spiritual bully tendencies, which TULIP seems to have an affinity for.

There you have it....

In the yom, in which God made the heaven and earth is not how many yoms it took to make the Heaven and the earth. :geek:
That is my point. Context proves that the time period referred to by yom in Chapter two of Genesis cannot be the same time period referred to as yom in Chapter one. Chapter one must be a 24 hour day having a morning and evening. Therefore Chapter two cannot be referring to a 24 hour day. So what is it? A week? A month? A year? A decade? Or a millennium? Context makes a millennium the most likely, because Adam we see died within but close to 1000 years from his sin, as did all his immediate descendants. The reasoning seems robust. What time period other than day and millennium are you willing to nail your colours to here?

You still haven't provided a single shred of evidence against Calvinism and your desperate attempt to defend Arminianism was also done without any biblical basis.

As I've been trying to explain to you over an over again. IM NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR WISDOM OR YOUR PRIVATE OPPINIONS. Please give me some biblical evidence to support your man centered gospel. I have given you a 100 verses to prove that my theology is biblically sound, but you haven't given me a single verse to defend your faith in the man centered gospel.

You are proving now that you have very few reading comprehension skills as well. Ideal Calvinist pastor material.

Just please start your own church. Please, don't pretend not to be Calvinist to get a pastorate and then stealthily change the church over to calvinism.

But the second account does not begin where the first ends. A Yom is an earth cycle, or the word tide in english.
What is your contextual evidence that you means a tide in chapter two? You are alleging that chapter two is saying God created the heavens and the earth in one tide cycle, 24 hours and 50 minutes. How does that make sense of chapter one? How do you get six days to fit into 24 hours and fifty minutes?

You are alleging that chapter two is saying God created the heavens and the earth in one tide cycle,
I thought you were.

How does that make sense of chapter one?
The accounts overlap. Why do you have to fix six yoms into one yom. I don't think you are reading it carefully.
