Them who follow the law on this board just dont get it

Mathew 23:25
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

It is what the scripture state.

It maybe opposite of your personal understanding of grace.

God "chose" David because of his heart.

God did not create the heart of David to be as one "after His own".
That God judges people under the law by the law is true. But grace places people into Christ wherein one becomes dead to the law and alive unto Christ. Ponder the significance of this before briskly moving on.

And to be after God's own heart is a phrase that simply means God chose. That is, unless you believe God has adultery and murder in His heart.

I need not devise a working definition.

John the Baptise Baptises with water which is the baptism you believe is of God.

Christ Baptises in the holy Ghost which is the spirit of God

Which baptism have you received?
Are you serious???

You will not state the definition of the subject but expect me to answer this question.

How old are you? Be honest.

Are you not able to see how silly your question is?

It's only a guess of course, but I believe @Beckworth wants people to actually take time to study what the entire record reveals. Too many just jump on the band wagon.

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31-32
I guess. Not sure how debating this brings spiritual progress in gaining ground for breakthrough in people’s lives. “Hey everyone, let’s go back and nail down square one.”

This comment has no bearing on the subject. Just fluff.

Please explain "a phrase that simply means God chose".
I think you just made that up.

I've already posted the definition.

Mathew 3:11
“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Well you walked away briskly from the first quote. If you are going to live under the law, you are going to die under the law. I hope at some point you are able to understand this.

As to the phrase...after one's heart...it means choosing in accordance with one's own specifications. God doesn't choose as man does. Man chooses based on outward appearance. God has a different standard for choosing. God chose David in accordance with His standard.
One of God's standards is to choose things that are weak. He does this so that what is performed through an individual will be seen to be done by His power, that glory may be accrued to Him and not another.
Why do you suppose God didn't use Moses to deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt before sending him into the desert for 40 years? If you read what Moses was like then and after spending 40 years on the backside of the desert, you will see why God did this. God spent 40 years changing Moses into the type of leader He chooses.
Why didn't God immediately make David king? Because He was changing Him into the type of king God chooses.

Paul's sins came into contact with the blood of Jesus (not physical blood) at water baptism.
Chapter and verse? Do you have a book chapter and verse for this? Second time asking...

Here’s one for you: 1 Cor 1:27
-27 But God has chosen (or God chose) the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

Looks like God decided to give His power and relationship to the dumb people of the world not the smart guys. Hmmm, are we dumb or smart? We know there’s a whole lot of smart guys on here.

Any law you think God requires you to keep to be saved.
It's called the Bible.

New International Version Philippians 2:12
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,

You are not dumb as you imply but certainly confused.

ASV 1st Corinthians 14:33
for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

Keep going...verse 13...for it is God who is at work in you, willing and doing of His good pleasure...
We are to work out what God is working in.

To be sure, a Christian has responsibilities before God, but it doesn't add to grace. When we do improve what God has given to us, He gives us more. It's what the story of the talents is dealing with.

Again, God did not create David's heart but He certainly choose it among many.

David was anointed king as a young boy not as you imply: "Why didn't God immediately make David king? Because He was changing Him into the type of king God chooses."

God did not create a heart in David and then chose that heart.

You are simply making this up.

What "law" are you referring to?

John 8:36 plus Romans 8:2 If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.
