True, but it is a sign of how close we are. During Passover week Jesus flipped the tables of the money changers. I suspect prior to the pseudo Christ coming in we'll see the money changed from US dollars to BRICS.
it seems as if no one wants to take b r i c k s seriously.

but, they will.....

My Personal experience of Arbitrage

When I was in High school I began betting on football games. I had a strategy, if your favorite team was Dallas and Dallas was being given five points when they played against Pittsburg I'd go and make a bet with you, taking Pittsburg, but no points. The kid would complain and then I'd humiliate them, "you want to win even if Dallas loses?" They would give me the bet. Then I'd go and make the other side of that bet with someone else only this time I'd get the points. So if Dallas wins I lose one bet and win one. If Pittsburg wins by more than five points I win one bet and lose one. In those two cases it is a wash. But if the final score fell within the spread I win both bets. I thought I had the perfect system. This was when $20 was a lot of money to me, on a given weekend I'd have $150 wagered. But I slept fine, I felt I couldn't lose, I could only win. But then I discovered the achilles heel. A kid that had lost the bet to me couldn't pay! Now what do I do? Do I break kneecaps? In the end I convinced him he needed to pay, the damage done to his reputation would be far worse. But that woke me up. I realized my "perfect system" depended on half of my bets being with fools and since I knew they were fools I also knew they would lose their money and one day not be able to pay. The Lord gave me a glimpse of where this road led so I stopped.

Over 17 Million Brick-And-Mortar Stores in China Closed Last Year; 90% Expected to Shut by 2025

On one hand we see so many Chinese not working because their jobs have been replaced by 3d printers and other technology that takes their jobs or moved the entire industry to other countries. The first casualty of the young people not being hired is a massive collapse of restaurants and other small shops.

One thing the story brought out is how the tax men in China are squeezing the businesses. It isn't simply these small businesses that are broke, the governments and their agencies are also broke and so they try and squeeze money out of the shop owners. Since there are fewer and fewer that still survive they must charge them more and more tax.

What we should understand is that this is the consequence of machines taking jobs from people. They work cheaper and more efficiently than people do so there is a great incentive to buy them, but they are a dead sea, whatever is spent on them stays with them, the money does not recirculate into the economy. The machines don't buy things and they don't pay tax. On the contrary they are a tax deduction.

So then business can look good and profitable while in reality the people and the government are going broke.

The advantage of a war is that all these people are risky to the CCP, they will protest, loot, and blame the government. If you get them into an army and have them go and loot and attack someone else it will keep the government safe. Also, in a situation of massive unemployment to young people it will be easy to get them to sign up for the army.

The generation of the young people in China is now called "the ten no's" generation. I don't know what all ten no's are, but No marriage, No Children, and No house is three of them.

Wow a Chinese generation called "the ten no's"... I guess that will end up meaning inside one generation with no marriage,no children with no homes when the current generation of Chinese dies off they will refer to the next generation in China as the "no more Chinese generation" because they'll all be gone? (pun intended, lol)

It isn't all no's, one thing they do have growing at a phenomenal rate is divorce.

Is this a bad thing?
People go to war when they have no other option. The economy in China and Russia is collapsing, hence the likelihood of war is much greater. They both know they cannot defeat the US in a conventional war, and neither goes to war simply as "performative art" or "to build up their military industrial complex". So if this becomes war we can expect it to go nuclear.

So China's problem is they are not having babies and will run out of people to exploit so you believe they will start a war with the most powerful country in the world which would greatly reduce their own population by annihilation?

You believe that is their plan to world domination?

No. I don't believe they will go to war to reduce their population. What I do believe is that the world is going to be impacted in a major way by AI and robots and that China is the first to experience that because 3d printers have eliminated much of their manufacturing and export business. But Taiwan has become the most important prize because they manufacture the chips that AI runs on. Whoever has the most powerful AI will rule the world and Taiwan at the moment is the one manufacturing those chips.

That said AI and robots will take the jobs of many people, simple economics. A robot that costs $120,000 can be leases for $30,000 a year. It can work four shifts a week, and is far more reliable than any employee you could get at that price. Also there is no liability, no risk of lawsuit, theft, or viral videos to destroy your business. Meanwhile AI is even easier to roll out to the fortune 500 companies. They have predicted that it will take 100 million jobs, but that was not clear, were they talking just about the US or about the developed world? In other words are we talking about half the jobs or a third of the jobs?

They are already anticipating this issue and so are talking about UBI (universal basic income -- ie welfare). But if you believe that then you also must believe that North Korea is a worker's paradise. When people have their jobs taken they will become useless eaters and they will use the health care industry to expedite their transfer into the after life.

Instead the only future people will have in this brave new world will be to get a chip implanted into their brain and to become a cyborg controlled by the AI system. That is why if you take that chip you cannot be saved, it will control your brain, what you see, what you hear.

But returning to your question, the reason no one seems all that worried about going to nuclear war is that they don't really care if half the world's population dies since they know that will solve this problem they are going to have with AI and robots taking their jobs. Also they have built great underground bunkers to sit out the wars.

One thing they are planning on doing is wiping out the power with an EMP attack or a destruction of a number of sub stations. Either way the cities will wind up killing themselves with looting and rioting while the elites hide out in their bunkers just like the movie "The Purge".

The Tip of the Iceberg

They are seeing massive closures of businesses, both storefronts and online, as a result they aren't paying tax. Not only so but many people have been laid off and are unemployed, as a result they aren't paying tax. So now the local governments are seizing assets belonging to farmers to raise revenue.

This is what is coming due to AI, Robots and 3d printers.

You do have a big imagination but I think I'm just going to stick with bible prophecy .It makes more sense.
