Prophets, teachers, leaders, they are all bound within the prophesies. What we call them is not as important as who they are and what they are doing. And that we recognize them. But how do we recognize them?

The Holy Spirit says we will know them by their fruit. Love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. You don’t see these among the maga leadership, and the closest followers. They are angry, full of hate, and itching for a fight. And that’s not in the list of fruit.

Mammon worship, self-idolatry, immorality, abandoning the poor, sick, and foreigner; embracing lies and hypocrisy and hating your enemies are not Christian values. Yet they are what trump and his closest followers teach and prophesy.

satan created an evil so vile on the left, that it’s left us willing to turn blind eyes to the deceptions of the right. The left deceives the world, the right deceives believers. The problem with deception is you don’t know it’s happening. That’s why prophesy warns us against it. Ephphatha!

But the prophesy that scares me most? It’s that in these times, many are going to turn away from God, because they are not prepared for it. And I don’t want to lose any brother or sister to that. But I see too many of them working to prevent what is coming, instead of preparing for it. They think they can vote their way out from under prophesy, and in the end, they are actually fulfilling it. The conflation of the elephant and the Cross is the most dangerous deception of our time. Because ultimately it’s going to cost some people their salvation.

Even satan confesses Jesus is the Son of God. That doesn’t mean we buy every lie he tells us. And that doesn’t mean we let him distract us from what we were told we should be doing.

Which is, preparing for what’s coming, rather than being otherwise occupied trying to stop it.

Amen. That is why I'm so truly baffled by so many people calling themselves Christian who endorse this stuff.

I agree that you cannot vote away what has been written in the Bible. Every jot and tittle will be fulfilled.

However, there is also the aspect of the restrainer. We should be one with the Holy Spirit in restraining evil.

That is the other side of the coin. We are not "preppers".

So I would say the scriptural title would be "prevention vs restraining"

Do you have a book chapter and verse for that?

If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15

Fair enough;

So we have this satanic evil on the left. How are you going to 'restrain' it? Are we to look for an earthly ruler to save us from evil?

Cause that's what's behind all this... searching for an earthly solution to a spiritual problem. Just like the Jews did. How did that work out for them?

With the word of God as light and salt. Deep calleth unto deep, we are calling to people's conscience to take a stand for the Lord.

Yes, give us a king, they said.

A prudent man foreseeth the evil and hideth himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.
Pro 27:12

I am absolutely a prepper.

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

That is fine as long as you can forsee that the evil is not receiving Jesus Christ as your savior and going to hell.

I also have prepared for those of my family who may not be taken. I realize that after the rapture it will be the easiest time for everyone to confess, repent and receive the savior.

But that means seeing that the coastlines of the US will be in utter chaos, perhaps 5 miles from the coastline and in. That will involve 65% of the US population. You will need food, water, and a relatively safe place to live initially. That means getting through the three days (or three weeks?) of darkness. You'll need to be ready to tape up the windows, and you'll need lanterns. You should be ready for no electricity for weeks, maybe months, and that means no running water after a day or two.

But most of all you need to have a hard copy of the Bible that was not purchased, a Bible they can't trace, and preferrably a pocket bible that you can remove the cover from and divy up the pages.

That is the greatest evil, but there are others. And prophesy says that deception in the end will cause many to abandon their faith. That's a pretty big evil too.

That assumes a pre-trib 'rapture'? I personally am of the mid trib/pre wrath camp. But I ask myself, what if I am wrong? That's why I say, pray for pre, prepare for post, and any other time, like right now, would be fine with me.

There's a reason groups get tagged with a stereotype. That's not to say any individual within a group can't step outside that stereotype, but they are the exception not the norm. The norm is what generates the stereotype.

What stuck out for me were his assertions that working class families are being taken for a ride by the rich ... yet it is the conservatives who over and over and over again push to strip the middle and poor to further enrich the wealthy. So he, by being conservative, promotes the stereotype of lies and hypocrisy. Now, I'll caveat that I haven't looked into his individual voting record, but he aligns himself with the group that has a LOOOOONG history of voting to strip the middle and poor to enrich the wealthy.

If you don't want to be known by a group's stereotype, don't be part of that group.

This is ridiculous. Allowing wealthy people to prosper and grow the economy is what broadens the middle class and allows people to escape poverty. You have only to look at the last 2 administrations. Every group did better economically under Trump. Every group has suffered under Biden. You neither understand economics nor free market economies.

Tell me what you know about free market economies. Tell me what you know about the accumulation of wealth. How about just tell me what causes inflation.

How is he wrong?

All the mega-rich began to support the left in 2020 and the leftist government reciprocates to them while they throw just enough scraps to the mega-poor to keep their support.

The value of the middle-class and poor incomes were CUT IN HALF by the rapid Bidenflation and the value of the assets of the mega-rich doubled. I got wage increases adjusted for inflation quickly... most people are just now getting those increases over the last 12 months.

And yes, massive regulation and tax burdens on the "wealthy" (this category most good employers fall in) hurts the people they employ; often more than it hurts them.

They think they can vote their way out from under prophesy, and in the end, they are actually fulfilling it.
I can't think of a single person that has ever said that they can "vote their way out of prophecy"; and it doesn't even make sense for anyone to think that; because, this is what prophecy says:

His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the daily sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation.
With flattery he will corrupt those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him. Those with insight will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by sword or flame, or be captured or plundered.
Now when they fall, they will be granted a little help, but many will join them insincerely. Some of the wise will fall, so that they may be refined, purified, and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.

There is resistance until the appointed time. The fact that "many will join them insincerely" is well-known and that people and politicians are insincere is not what causes people to fall away... it is simply a fact that there is nothing we can do about. Just like Jesus knew that he was going to be betrayed; but neither kicked Judas out of the ministry or stopped him from informing. It just is what it is.

1. Rich people don't create jobs, consumers do.
2. Stuffing the pockets of the rich in hopes it will trickle down is like giving 1 dog 10 bones, expecting he'll share them with 9 other dogs.
3. If a company raises prices but their profits remain the same, that's inflation. If a company raises prices and their profits rise, that profiteering.

Your very first sentence tells me all I need to know. So I'll pass wasting my time on this one as well. The problem these days is, people engaged with a lie, when shown the truth, will continue with the lie. I've learned not to try to enlighten these people. It's a waste of time.
