Trump and MAGA are so hypocritical they can't even recognize their hypocrisy when it's staring them in the face. Trump as said how much he hates electric cars; but now he's sharing the stage with Elon Musk and praising him for his electric car company (Tesla). Is the Donald really that desperate?

I recently moved from Austin to the Golden Triangle area the trend I notice is that most people are just tired of it all together. If you mention politics at all they reach up to cover their ears and start telling you their sick of hearing it,don't care who wins, sick of the shame tactics and on and on. Texas dropped over a million registered voters and most of the people I've spoke with don't know if their still registered and don't care because they don't plan to vote anyway. It don't matter if you approach them as an R or a D they react the same.

I said the message had insight.
Here is some insight:

-Levites were seizing land (that they coveted) by falsely declaring leprosy on hapless citizens (Satan made them rich see Gen 14)
-signs and wonders (think in terms of 1 and 2nd Kings) instilled the fear of God in these Levites, and they were dumping the land,
much to the chagrin of the chief priest, as land prices were plummeting and worse people were repenting and thereby "freeing" themselves of the yolk of bondage
-Ananias (the Levite spy) was still in violation as he did not sell his holdings, but worse he was a co-conspirator with the High Priest and his mafia in a plot to seize and destroy the prophet of God Peter (think 1 & 2 Kings).
-the captains of the Temple, Caiphas, rulers, elders, scribes all correlate to the subjects of 1 & 2 Kings.
-Ananias dies at the word of Peter, just as Ahaziah dies at the word of Elijah
-the "young men" of Acts 5 correlate to the repentant Captain and their 50 of 1 Kings. These were Temple guards, a military force, who "switched sides" as the 3rd Captain of Elijah did.

The biggest takeaway is Genesis 14 and Abraham. Abraham "chose freedom" and refused to be a slave of Satan. Rather he refused the goods, took the souls (and gave THEM their freedom too) and tithed to Melchizedek.

This is an absurdly brief synopsis. It would take 10 or 20 hours to cover this material exhaustively. Whether you understand that or not
I cannot say.

I mostly agree, except I personally do not consider abortion a private manner and probably just as harmful to the country as everything else.
Yes it is but you cannot legislate for or against abortion. Each person makes a personal decision. The government, courts, and politicians should stay right out it. They should be focused on essentials for good governance (which they have all forgotten).

I see your point on good governance, but if we regard abortion as murder which it is, then doctors can be prohibited from performing them as many countries did have in place for many years.

However, as I have stated before somewhere on the chat board, I do see where people's minds and hearts need to be changed first before laws can be reinstated because society has no become so immoral and amoral.

Yes. To enforce this sort of thing is a nightmare and quite impossible.

Kick it out of the political sphere if at all possible.

Nope. Trump was giving Putin incentive for an invasion of Ukraine and other kinds of debauchery.
No, Trump is the only President that Putin didn't attack anyone under since he was afraid of Trump. Kamala and Biden encouraged Putin to invade Ukraine, and that's what happened, Putin knows they're weak and they are corrupted by him as well, they give him military technology and intel and all sorts of stuff, they're double-dealers they will never be respected. As for debauchery probably not smart to remind us about Kamala being a literal homewrecker that slept her way to the top preying on married men.

What are the reasons so many believers trust/support Trump? He doesn't even hide where his allegiance lies.
I'll tell you my opinion. They do it because the majority of them are injustice collectors just like their hero Donald. They aren't really thinking about what evils he will surely bring, but how he will inflict retribution on their enemies. That's all they care about. The end justifies the means in their minds.

Also, a lot of them seem to justify it because Biden/Harris is the opposition. Just because they are worse doesn't make Trump good.

Operation warp speed comes to mind.

Surprising study: "The research also revealed some of the reasons that the Christians are not planning to vote in November, including a lack of interest in politics (68%), a dislike in both major party candidates (57%), and a belief that their vote will not make a difference (52%). A smaller percentage (48%) believe that the election results will be manipulated.

"The 32 million Christians who regularly attend church services but are not likely to vote represent a far larger margin than the combined number of votes that decided the 2020 election in key battleground states," the study's lead researcher Dr. George Barna said. "If church leaders, family members, and close friends will use their influence to get reticent voters from their churches to cast a ballot on November 5, the election outcome will be meaningfully affected."

Yes, we will all be judged by our judgments.

Some will look at a man and say "this man is a sinner he cannot be redeemed" and what they have just done is proclaim judgment on themselves.

Others will know this person is lying to them but they will ignore that because they are telling them what they want to hear and so they will be without excuse when this same person leads them to the slaughter. You knew it and went along with it.

Others will have a difficult choice to make and so decide the best choice for them is to do nothing. So then when they are most in need of help to be delivered from disaster those that could help will also do nothing.

Matthew 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Only because it has become legitimized.

It is just not a priority for you, but for many babies ripped to pieces while in the womb it is a priority because evil is never contained but spreads and is insidious.

Laws are part of governance.

If the babies are sacrificed to Moloch after birth then does it become part of the political sphere then?
At one time abortion had the same level of gravity.

I cannot say.
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

The word of God is balanced. The presbytery is a body of elders. So at the start Paul says "let no one despise thy youth" and in the end the gift is given by both prophecy and the laying on of hands of the body of elders.

We can illustrate this with Tom Brady. He famously prophesied when he was first drafted that Kraft would view him as the best decision they ever made. He was despised for much of his career which is why he was drafted so late, and why he was paid so little, and why many people hated him. But in the end even his greatest detractors had to admit that you cannot despise him and calling him the greatest quarterback ever was impossible to refute.

So that is how I view Bible teachers, what do the body of elders say? I realize that all the greats are despised at first, so that doesn't bother me. But in the end were the body of elders won over?
