Is this month the most demonic month of the year? Or is there another month that is way more demonic?

Why do you think that?
Probably cause of Halloween and October seems to be the time of the year where I have the hardest time at any job site that I’m at. Not sure why but I seem to have the most mental health problems this month, year after year. Could be from past traumatic experiences. But thought maybe there is history on a month with the most evil happening in ancient history. Though in this day in age there seems to be things happening every day.

I wouldn't say it's the most demonic. Satan and his demons are busy 24/7, 365. If this month is particularly difficult for you, they might take advantage of that against you. But the Lord Jesus is a lot more powerful than Satan and all his demons.

Yom Kippur will be celebrated this evening. It is considered a day like "Purim," the day that Queen Esther succeeded in freeing her people from Haman's evil plot against them. They have a similar celebration relating to that event that resembles Halloween, or rather Halloween actually resembles. Kid will dress up like Esther or Mordecai, an angel or other (I'm not familiar enough to explain that holiday very thoroughly). So, it's not anymore evil as any other month is better or worse although I've heard that pagans consider Halloween to be the night that the division between the dark world and this world is the weakest or most "open," but I'd be more hesitant to trust what the pagans believe.

Thinking about it, I'm not sure if I've attributed this belief correctly to a pagan belief...I only assumed it without any real knowledge where that belief came from, though I'm pretty sure scripture doesn't inform us on that topic.

I love October! In fact, I find it to be the most peaceful and beautiful month. I'd stay in October year around if I could. I guess I've never felt any evil in this month. I've even picnicked in a cemetery on Halloween night!

Sean,

Do you watch scary movies ?

“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! Matthew 6:22

'Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.' psalms 119

' Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.' proverbs 4:26

'Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.' 1 peter 5:8

LoL I thoroughly enjoyed it. I certainly realize it's not for everyone. I love graveyards and have visited many. To me they are peaceful. I also love to picnic. October is a great time to do both, but I picnic and visit graveyards year round. I just wondered what it'd be like to picnic in one on Halloween night. It was one of my favorite picnics.
People in the Victorian era commonly picnicked in cemeteries. I would have fit right in if I lived in those times.
If nothing else, the food I packed was tasty. I made a pot of chili and packed Frito chili pies. I also made/packed a homemade pumpkin cake.

I actually very much dislike scary movies, ever since I was born. When I was a child my dad and sister would scare me and I always hated it, to the point of crying.

I watched two scary movies in theaters growing up, The Ring and Saw. After watching The Ring, I had to sleep in my sisters bedroom for an entire week cause I was afraid that the ring girl would kill me in my sleep. After watching Saw, I rode my bicycle home from the theater and I was so paranoid about the saw guy following me home.

I think where I get most of my trauma during this season is when I was at a party in 2012 before I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. Someone who I thought was a friend offered me a drug called spice to smoke in front of my then fiance. After smoking it, I thought everyone there was demon possessed. I called out to Jesus, yelling his name to come save me. It was something I learned to say cause my grandmother told me that evil will flee. After minutes passed, my God brother and God father came to the house and snapped me out of it after a half to an hour of me acting like the person who I thought was my friend tried to kill me with this drug, even though I’m the one who took it. Then I safely went back home after a while of saying I won’t go in the car with my then fiance cause I thought she was going to crash the car killing both of us. Just a very traumatic experience that I have recovered from.

It’s just strange seeing my little brother making certain questionable decisions during this season as well. I know I am not his parent but he bought a certain Halloween costume this year where I know he just wants to fit in with the world and I thought that I helped lead him in the right direction over the last ten years of me being here for him but I guess not. We use to watch sermons from my church together but after a while he stopped and eventually he decided he is not a Christian, so I don’t push anything on him, at least not anymore but he knows where I stand and that when ever Jesus intercepts him, that he has a brother in Christ waiting for him.

I did drink 2 oz of wine each day the last two days, so maybe that is why I had those type of thoughts about a demonic month. So forgive me for bringing it up cause I know it is not biblical at all.

My fondest memories of October involve evening hay rides, wearing heavy coats and gloves from the cold. Snuggling down into the hay with the love of my life....absolute pure magic! And then she married me 56 years ago this week.

Yeah, I would say October is my favorite month too!

I also like the colors in the Fall. It's beautiful.
The air changes too and it becomes cooler and it's perfect to drive with the windows open.

That sounds beautiful!!

I love hay rides too. In fact, I had just been on a hay ride through the woods right before my profile pic was taken (that's why my braid is a mess lol).

A couple of other things I like are visiting pumpkin patches and walks in the countryside with the leaves falling all around.

The colours are fabulous. I had that in mind with this panel:

From Romans 6:19-21 You used to offer your body in slavery to impurity and to escalating wickedness when you were slaves to sin. What fruit did you reap at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? The outcome of those things is death.

Sean,

The month itself isn't demonic but the people that watch scary movie are open doors for demons.

I'm sorry about your brother. I think we all have family members we desperately want to be Christians but all we can do is pray that God will soften their hearts.

This is just me personally, but I've watched numerous scary movies from the 20s up until the current era (although I don't watch the ones from the more recent years like I used to just 'cause they aren't nearly as good anymore imo). Anyway, I just look at them as entertainment value. I also watch a lot of action movies, many of which could be considered more horrifying than the scary movies. I think it comes down to how a person takes those kind of movies. To me, they are just entertainment. I'd much rather watch a scary movie or action movie than a rom-com or comedy or family movie or what-have-you. It's just personal preference. For those who can't handle them or let them get to their soul, then they should avoid them. For those of us who fancy an entertaining scary movie or strong action and aren't bothered by them, I don't see the problem. I've been watching them for decades.

I will continue to pray for him and hope that God works things for his good, like He has in my life and all of our lives.

Just like how some people can drink alcohol and others should definitely not.

Absolutely! I've known of people who can't control themselves and when they drink they become entirely different people (and not for the best). Then there are people like my great grandfather who made his own moonshine and only drank once in the evenings. I never seen him drunk. Every once in a while, I'll drink a beer. I don't need to continue drinking.
What I have to watch out for is ice cream consumption. I can't control myself when it comes to ice cream. I'm not just being funny...ice cream is a problem for me if I have it around! lol
