neuter gender? LOL, you take one word and make it elite over the whole text. You make descriptive words and make them normative.

Why do you keep ignoring proper biblical interpretation? No, Paul did not say tongues are for the unbeliever.

1cor 14:2,4
2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.

4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

20 Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be babes, but in understanding be mature.

22 Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those
who believe.

A Sign to Unbelievers.
You twist what I say just as you twist scripture.

So be it. You have been informed.

LOL,
there is no documentation that proves your understanding that the gifts have stopped.

It's "self-evident." You are the authority over God's word.

Manna and quail are not contextual with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit seen in 1 Corinthians chapters 12 through 14. FYI, we know that there was manna and quail because they were seen in the word of God.

Why is no more quail raining down?

Because that event was descriptive, not normative, as seen in the Word of God.
You should know the difference.

That, too, is self-evident with those who know proper exegesis.

What is a Normative seen in the word of God? Do you know the difference between them?

A "Normative " word of God refers to the concept of God as a standard, action, or idea of how people ought to be.
A "Descriptive" word of God describes God's actions or attributes as seen in scripture without requiring a law to be followed or a direct moral principle needed for proper behavior. A normative word tells you how to act based on God's nature, while a descriptive word tells you what God is like.

What is the point of the quail? God did it

What is the point of the gifts of the Holy Spirit?

1. to edify
2. comfort
3. Exhort

We don't need Manna or quails training down from Heaven, but we do need the Holy Spirit and His gifts.

The word of God provides that evidence. Your self-evident position is not authoritative.
Do you have documentation that the sounds coming out of your mouth is the same as the tongues of the New Testament?

FYI, during the last lockdown in CA, we stayed open as a Church and fought to close. In addition, many churches sued Gaving Newsom and won. FYI, the gate of Hell will not prevail against the Church of the Living God.

The only people shocked were Democrats and other local churches who closed. Again you don't know what you are talking about.

If the next lockdown happens, our Place of Fellowship will remain open as it did last time. I am not afraid to go to jail; I have been there and done that.

You like to judge and stereotype Pentecostals. Please continue. But I don't have the spirit of fear but one of power, love, and a healthy mind. Many people, like yourself, fled CA to "safer states." FYI, we did not. We are thriving and seeing many come to the Lord Jesus Christ. WE call sin what it is. We don't follow the culture. We follow the Full Gospel.

  • Jesus Crucified for my sins.
  • Jesus Buried in a rich mans tomb
  • Jesus rose from the dead on the third day and is live Lord and King
  • He coming Back
  • He empowers His church with the Holy Spirit
  • to confirm the word with signs and wonders.
Maybe you will comply with lockdowns, but we will not. Now put that in your pipe and smoke it, guy.

There is a difference between demon possession, and demon influence.

Only an unbeliever can be demon possessed.
Believers who remain stubbornly walking after their emotions, will be demon influenced.

Keep in mind... Satan knows how to quote Scripture.
Its obvious. Kenneth Copeland does it all the time.

There are others who have escaped the same snare that you so warmly wrap your pride in.

They will be your judge....

You think the following people could not do what you just did?

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name,
and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

The Devil knows how to quote Scripture!
Listen to the Word shown in accuracy instead!

What can I say?

Am I to believe those we see condemned in Matthew 7:21-23, were not warned like you are being warned?

The Lord will not accept any excuses.
That is why Christians warn, even when not heeded.

The ones who give you approval will not be able to save you.

if Jesus is Lord of one's life and the Holy Spirit is in them, do you believe a demon can influence them ?

I do not believe that, nor do I think the Holy Spirit is sackful in leading and guiding us to ALL truth, as Jesus said in John chapter 14.

As I said, I don't follow KC. You don't know me. You say
"the same snare that you so warmly wrap your pride in. "

You assume that about me, yet you don't even know such arrogance. Look in the mirror, guy. You will be judged by the measure you have used to me, which is invalid. And suggest I will comply with lockdown, hahaha.

If you are not saved, you need to get saved, but I know that Jesus is the Lord of my life, and I am saved.

First off, I don't follow the devil. I prefer to listen what Jesus said when dealing WITH THE DEVIL.

LUKE CHAPTER 4:4

4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, [c]but by every word of God.’ ”
the word of God says

James 4:7
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Your false narrative of me and others just shows you are immature. You have the arrogance to tell others they are not saved.

You are a very self-righteous person. The one who called me was able to save and justify me. I am not saved because I say the word " lord."

I am saved because I have placed my faith in the Lord Jesus and have received His redemption provided by HIS blood through the work of the cross. You better be very careful telling Christians they are not saved. Be a soul winner, not a Pharisee.

the devil knows the Scripture better than us , he uses the Bible quotes too decieve people and to make people confused and doubt but religious people are ignorant because every now and them an evil spirit manifests learn how to quote bible to deceive and those so called Christians will believe the surface appearance of a religious demon and follow that demonic man, when you finally come across a Righteous man you do nothing but try to prove him wrong whilst hiding behind the Scripture, you use it too tear down when it's ment to build up, believe I know what im talking about, I have an advantage.....I have The Most High with me , Hallelujah!!

I agree with you, but I think you are talking about the effects of things not done and their causes.

Does the devil know the word of God? Yes. But is the devil knowing the word of God greater than the Holy Spirit, who leads and guides the believer into all truth and Never leaves them? No.

How does the devil deceive, if possible, the very elect?

  1. We do not study the word of God. Biblical illiteracy and ignorance
  2. , no prayer life
  3. has not been disciples and equipped by the Pastor of a bible believing Church.
  4. No separation from the world and having the word taken from them less they believe, as Jesus said in the Parable of the Sower.
  5. Unconfessed sin and open disobedience
Just because the devil knows the Bible doesn't mean he can overpower your Lord and God.

Biblical truth stands alone. Christ is Supreme, and He has all authority. Jesus said the gate of hell will not prevail against the church.

Even if the devil knows the bible, we have been given a name above all names. God fully knows one's heart. He is not mocked.

You say not to tear down but to build up. Amen,

Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

to those who think the devil is greater than their God I leave them with Jude 1:24-25

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

If you are not saved, you need to get saved, but I know that Jesus is the Lord of my life, and I am saved.
How can you know? Jesus himself said those in Matthew 7:21-23 will be shocked out of their minds to discover they were not saved.
They will call him "Lord! Lord!"

Learning what words one must use to be acceptable does not prove anything.

The following men all said that Jesus is Lord!

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.
On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name,
drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’
Then I will announce to them, ‘I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’

No one can say Jesus is Lord, except by the Spirit??? (Corinthians 12:3)
But they can say it in their flesh after learning its the thing to say!

After learning about that factor?

Satan turned to his angels, and said....
"Hey, guys.. "We got to work on this!"

Give an atheist enough money, and you can get him to say the words .."Jesus is Lord."

Nobody's fool, except for Christ.

First, Jesus doesn't lie, and The Word of God is truth.

Jesus said, whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.

Romans 10:9–10 tells us how and why. “…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

it not just saying Lord Jesus it is living and Him taking up rightful place in ones life that Jesus is seen through ones walk.

The evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit is there. They love people. They understand that God desires to save all, as John 3:16 -18 states.

You keep using
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.

What is the will of the Father?

To Love the Lord the God with all and your neighbor as yourself.

Today, we are saved; tomorrow, I will be saved, and Jesus, when he calls me home, I will be saved. Today is the day of salvation, and we can have faith and hope in Christ.

You quote
Matthew 7:21-23 will be shocked out of their minds to discover they were not saved.
They will call him "Lord! Lord!"
and try to use it as I see it as a means to disqualify others. What about you? Unlike you, I would never say you are not saved. That is between you and GOD.

But in my daily walk, I know I must self-examine to see that I am in the faith. I pray and have fellowship with the Lord because I am in a real relationship with Him. You worry about whether the Lord will tell you, " I never knew you."

Take the beam out of your eye, and then you can help me with my splinter.

if you think I have counterfeits salvation. Or are you suggesting it ?
I am not suggesting anything. Matthew 7:21-23 says it will exist with many. (not just a few)

Read what Jesus himself said....

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,
and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers
of lawlessness.’

Can you name anyone who does all those kinds of works? Who does not think he is *surely* saved?

Will all submit to God's authority when His Word tells us that certain temporary gifts have ceased to be operational?
Will they submit? They will refuse to submit to God's authority of His Word and will keep finding ways to justify themselves.

I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Yes.... you just 'might' be one of them. Right now you are trapped by them.
