It's somewhat astounding that so many perpetrate the fallacy of an appeal to popularity in relation to Covenant/Reformed Theology compared to what is called "dispensationalism," with claims that it's a recent concoction of Darby, which is the same trash we hear about the pre-trib rapture and premillennialism.
Personally, I don't subscribe to the family of doctrines couched within and under the label of "dispensationalism" because it is just another -ism rather than all of it being rooted within the clear language of scripture.
Why so many can't figure out that appeals to antiquity, and the lack thereof, somehow legitimizes any family of theological thought, that just seems so strange that so many have fallen into that horrid system of logical thought...or lack thereof.
We're told that in the latter days, many falsehoods would arise and dominate in conjunction with the nearing of the falling away, and far too many people are not taking that seriously. Very telling indeed.
