We were told thousands of years ago that the world will end up in the hands of he antichrist.

It's foolishness to think we can vote our way out from under that.

And what does America have to repent of? You really have to ask that?
You were also told all things happen according to God's will and plan.

Matthew 6:31 plus 33
You call that a warning? .
I would call it a command, and a warning.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

This is from Chapter 6 of Matthew.

A few verses above verse 33 where He gives the Kingdom admonition.

The chapter 6 discourse begins in verse 1 with Jesus saying "Take heed.." So yes, everything that follows could be considered a warning.

I might add, God does not make suggestions.

Matthew 6:19-21 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I agree concerning the world being deceived. Christians deceive themselves. Anyone who believes a politician is going to solve the problems of this world are mistaken.
That said, politicians vary in what level of harm or benefit they will bring. Voting for one of the other doesn't mean someone is deceived. It can simply mean they are making a rational choice between the options presented. Being deceived isn't of necessity involved.
If Christians believe trump is appointed by God to usher in Christian nationalism, they are deceived.

That's all He does.

Jesus went about suggesting how people should live.

But He NEVER petitioned Rome to codify His teachings.

He NEVER forced anyone to live His teachings.

He said, here is what is right, what is Godly, but do whatever you will.

That is suggestion.

Amazing how people take a message and blow it completely out of context.
I never said either Trump or Harris would "save America".
I don't expect to either jump up and down with excitement, yelling "my candidate won! Hooray!" or cry in the corner needing a "safe place" with therapy animals, playdoh, and soft music.

The point was straight out of the Bible - you remember the Bible, right? - we are to submit to the higher powers regardless.
If we do that, we're obedient to God's Word and whatever judgment comes from the elected (or installed) leader that goes against God's commandments will fall on them, which is also why we are to PRAY for our leaders, whoever they are.

How can any of you professing to be Christians argue with that?

In Matthew 6 Christ begins his discourse with the words "Take heed". Everything that follows could be considered a warning.

Such as, "man cannot serve two masters."

So yes, coupled with the fact that the our Sovereign King does not make suggestions, its a warning.

You were also told all things happen according to God's will and plan.
Absolutely.

Hitler was God's will and plan.

The antichrist is God's will and plan.

The apostasy is God's will and plan.

Not all of God's will and plan is in our favor.

Never said they weren't. I'm simply saying that most are voting rationally according to which candidate will do the things they believe will best help themselves and their families.

This assumes God need go to such extremes to provide revelation. It also assumes the warnings of impending doom the Bible records wasn't actually for those it was written.
I'm not dismissing your comment, I just don't understand what you are saying. Could you please provide some clarification?

Your model is wrong. The cross changed everything. Since the cross, things have gotten lightyears better. God is not dealing with His people in judgment as the days of the judges. He deals with His people according to grace....an abundant and unwavering grace. It doesn't mean there isn't chastening, but Jesus is building His church, no obstacles can hinder this, and the world is moving forward towards a time when the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ. Is it going gradually and more slowly than I'd like? Yes. But it is occurring. The first 4000 years little progress was made. But the last 2000 years, and particularly the last 500, have had human progress like nothing before. There are more Christians in the world today than ever before.
Why has this occurred? Because Jesus is doing exactly what He said He would do: He is destroying the works of the devil. And this will continue until all is restored and the knowledge of the glory of the Lord fills the earth. Hallelujah.

Worry about your own country of Scotland.

Orange Jesus?
That's one proof you are posing as more than just an American here.

Christians don't talk like that. If your hope was in Christ alone you would have nothing to say in these type threads. And you absolutely wouldn't use juvenile Leftist hate monger slurs to attack Trump.
I'm Scottish, I can trace my roots back to the 15th century. I don't feel that its anyone's business whether I am married or single, where I live, or whatever other questions I was required to answer to participate in this forum. So I clicked on Scotland. Dishonest? Perhaps. But as keeping my business my own was not an option, that's what I did. My IP address is clearly visible at sign up, so I wasn't trying to deceive anyone. Just keeping my personal business personal, its my right.

I live in Oregon and am a registered voter, though I do not exercise that privilege.

Would you have preferred that I called him "the chose one", as those are the words he uses to describe himself? Or maybe the King of Israel?
