Dears

I need to know if what’s below is accurate and mentioned in Christianity, or if there is something similar to the statement below please advise.

1- Adam and Eve are considered the first human beings created by God. They are described as the original human couple from whom all other humans are believed to have descended.

2- God created Adam and Eve and made them live in Paradise (the Garden of Eden). They were given the command to not eat from the forbidden tree. However, they disobeyed God's command by eating from the forbidden tree, which resulted in their expulsion from the Garden and their subsequent residence on Earth.

That is accurate, although the command was given to Adam before Eve was made from Adam. Just clarifying that since it is not clear in the text who informed Eve, and she did add to what God had said to Adam when she was recounting to the serpent what God had commanded. Their expulsion from the Garden of Eden was to prevent them from eating from the Tree of Life, though Jesus, Who had the keys to life and death, was promised in Genesis 3:15 which is called the Protoevangelium. Also, some claim Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Life before their expulsion, but that is nowhere in the text, and a proper reading of Scripture does not inform of of this, quite the contrary. Also some say the lie Satan told was that they would become like God to know good and evil, but God agreed with that assessment. The lie Satan told was that they would not surely die. That lie is repeated to this very day.

I did overlook that and focused just on the fact that Adam was placed in Eden and
then Eve was made there. Paradise is mentioned only three times in the KJV and NIV:

Luke 23:43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

2 Corinthians 12:4 was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.

Revelation 2:7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one
who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

There are multiple other mentions in other translations, though... (25 verses found on Biblehub, mostly OT).

It is rare to find any one that agrees in all points with what you or I believe. My response included the fact
that there are differences in beliefs, though it is likely I did not list them all regarding the Genesis/Eden story.
Some even say that Adam was perfect but that is not what the text says. We are perfected in Christ (last Adam).

“The first man Adam became a living being;” the last Adam a life-giving spirit.
The spiritual, however, was not first, but the natural, and then the spiritual.

Are you Catholics, Protestants, or part of another group? Are you affiliated with any specific denomination?

I don’t focus on the specifics, such as whether Adam disobeyed God and ate from the tree or whether he didn't eat and was sent to Earth. I’m only interested in what Christianity believes regarding certain statements that will help me to understand some principles. Can I summarize your answers as follows, I hope you have the patience to bear with me. :

1- Adam and Eve are considered the first human beings created by God. They are described as the original human couple from whom all other humans are believed to have descended..
Is this belief accepted by all Christians, or are there some groups that have different perspectives on this?

From your answer, I understand that some of you believe this while others do not, correct? I mean, some say that Paradise is not on Earth or something like that, right?

Chapter one and chapter two in Genesis of the creation account are told differently and people come to various conclusions about this. Some people believe there were two creations and that Adam is part of the second creation. Some try to integrate the theory of evolution with the Genesis account. They may explain it as the first man was a Neanderthal and that Adam was Homo sapiens. There are a wide range of opinions on this. There have been threads made about this, too. I am not a fan of such thinking. I prefer to adhere to what is explicitly stated. Nobody knows what absolutely everyone else believes in the full scope of their beliefs. Any ways, it is not a salvation issue. People become convinced in their own minds about something that Scripture may be silent on, and they may make many leaps of logic and make many assumptions and then they have difficulty admitting that what they believe is not Biblical. It can get quite complicated. However, Adam called his wife Eve because it means the mother of all living. So yes, all humans came from them.

I think the point was simply being made that Paradise is not Eden. Eden should be called Eden and not Paradise. Some call heaven Paradise but that is not Scriptural either. I think the most accurate take on Paradise is that it is part of Sheol where the old testament saints expected to go after death, also known as Abraham's bosom. Sheol was simply a holding place of the dead, both righteous and wicked, although an impassable gulf separated them as told of in Luke 16's the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.

You word that awkwardly. Eden was on Earth. They were expelled from the garden of Eden following their disobedience to live outside of the garden of Eden, perhaps in the land of Eden, from which they spread outward as the population grew. Plus, Adam and Eve were not "sent to Earth." Adam was created on earth from earthly elements and placed in the garden, and out of him Eve was made.

They were living in the Garden (Garden are Paradise are the same), and when they disobeyed God, they were sent to Earth. That is our belief. Once on Earth, they filled it with their progeny.

But the command to fill the earth came before the fall. How does such a command make sense if they weren't on earth?

Now I understand that Paradise is not the Garden of Eden. That's why I started my question by saying 'in Paradise (the Garden of Eden)' because I thought they were the same in Christianity. Thank you for clarifying this. So, can we correct it to: 'God created Adam and Eve and made them live in Eden'? Is that correct?"

Can I understand that you belong to the group that believes in what you quoted above? not belong to the group that claims Adam and Eve were expelled to prevent them from eating from the tree?

So, can I correct my statement to :
Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden because they disobeyed God, and they had to live outside the garden. As their family grew, they spread out from there. Adam was created from the earth and placed in the garden, and Eve was made from Adam.

I probably missed more of your questions. You can read what you want into that fact.
But nobody can explain to you what everyone believes because nobody knows that.
I am a Christian, and not a Catholic. Protestants consider Catholicism to be full of heresies.
I already gave many examples of people believing things that are not written in Scripture.

Based on the previously discussed information, and in the Protestant, can we assert that this is indeed how human life began on earth?
The story of Adam and Eve is presented as the origin of humanity, and they became the progenitors of all subsequent human generations? right?
Here I'm asking you only as a Protestant.
