Those that love GOD keep His Commandments. His declaration.

When you grow in Faith.. that is to believe each day.. love and forgiving as you are loved and forgiven..

The Lord gave us a daily prayer.. to forgive as we are forgiven.. ongoing way of life.

To worship GOD in spirit and in Truth.. is our New covenant under Grace.

We can not keep the Sabbath under the Old Covenant.

Under Grace we are at liberty to Keep the Sabbath Holy, which is to keep it separate.

It is between you and Heavenly Father… so be at ease and exercise your liberty for His Glory.

The Lord teaches us How.. for His Testament fulfills and supercedes the old.

Respect the Old wine brings us the New better Wine.. but beware not to mix it.. for it ruins.

Grace and love to all.

Yes we do have a choice who to follow but many make the wrong choice and follow another instead of the true GOD. they take the wide easy path.
Yes, its been this way from the beginning.

We are told Christ's Second Coming will be like the days of Noah. Most people mocked and chastised Noah all those years he preached to them, but as it started raining and the waters started getting higher and higher I am sure they wish they headed his warning and got on the ark.

The same is for God's commandments placed INSIDE God's ark of the covenant

Its why we should....

Psa 119:160 I made haste, and did not delay To keep Your commandments.

All God's commandments are Truth

Psa 119:151 You are near, O Lord,
And all Your commandments are truth.

His law is Perfect

Psa 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;

All of His commandments are righteous

Psa 119:172 My tongue shall speak of Your word,
For all Your commandments are righteousness.

Including His Sabbath commandment

Isa 56:1 Thus says the Lord:

“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,

And His righteousness is everlasting

Psa 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
And Your law is truth.

God's law reflects His character which we are to take on, when we love Him, we keep His commandments- we abide in Him

John 15: 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

And the only way to do this is to follow Jesus, no one else.

1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Two choices

Come to the light and follow Jesus in His footsteps, or stay in darkness (sin)

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Jesus is the only way and led by example

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

In conclusion, we have two opposite conclusions (I know):

In particular the words of Paul seem to contradict the words of Jesus, all of the other apostles as well as statements directly from the throne of God. There is a warning that we should heed:

[2Pe 3:15-16 KJV] 15 And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

There has to be a way to reconcile what appears to be a discrepancy between these two positions because it is not possible for the Holy Spirit to mislead the church.

The way to reconcile ALL differences about secondary doctrines is agree on the kerygma and agree to disagree about didachaic doctrines (possibly until we find out the answers in heaven). Here again is an elaboration of the kerygma for us all to affirm as the basis of Christian fellowship:
  1. There is a/one all-loving and just Lord or God (DT 6:4, JN 3:16, 2THS 1:6), who is both able (2TM 1:12) and willing (1TM 2:3-4) to provide all morally accountable human beings salvation or heaven—a wonderful life full of love, joy and peace forever.
  2. Human beings are selfish or sinful (RM 3:23, 2TM 3:2-4, CL 3:5), miserable (GL 5:19-21), and hopeless (EPH 2:12) when they reject God’s salvation or DOD (JN 3:18).
  3. Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ or the way (means of providing salvation) that God has chosen (JN 3:16, ACTS 16:30-31, PHP 2:9-11), although pre-NT truthseekers could/can learn a proto-gospel via general revelation combined with conscience.
  4. Thus, every person who hears the NT Gospel needs to repent and accept God in Jesus as Christ/Messiah the Lord or Supreme Commander (LK 2:11, JN 14:6, ACTS 16:31), which means trying to obey His commandment to love one another (MT 22:37-40, JN 13:35, RM 13:9)—forever (MT 10:22, PS 113:2).
  5. Then God’s Holy Spirit will establish a saving relationship with those who freely accept Him (RV 3:20) that will eventually achieve heaven when by means of persevering in learning God’s Word everyone cooperates fully with His will (RM 8:6-17, GL 6:7-9, EPH 1:13-14, HB 10:36, 12:1, JM 1:2-4).

Its not a matter of humans agreeing and that becomes gospel, we are to conform to God's Truth, His Truth is the only Truth that matters

Psa 119:151 You are near, O Lord,
And all Your commandments are truth.

All of God's commandments are Truth, which includes His Sabbath commandment That He personally spoke and wrote and said Remember- meaning lets not forget. No one can edit what God wrote and spoke, no one. No one is above God. He warned it would happen Dan 7:25 but not by God. So following those who changed God's times and law is not the path to follow.

We need to unite on God's Truth, not ours, His righteousness, not ours. The majority has never been right and never will be according to God's Word.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

God's version, not the popular version of man who edited what we were told not to.

We are already told God's Truth and His righteousness which is everlasting. Anything different is typically a misunderstanding of Paul's writings hence 2 Peter 3:15-16

There is only 1 way to believe in Jesus and many more ways to not believe in Jesus.

This is true? There is no other way.

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Saying His Sabbath is optional, when its a commandment, just like the commandment to only worship God, or not steal, or commit murder, there is no difference, so reducing what God said is reducing His Truth. The Ten Commandments were never called the Ten suggestions or are they multiple choice.

It's not something Peter or Paul taught, hence why the also faithfully kept the commandments including the Sabbath but in God's Word, this warning is here for a reason.

2 Peter 3:15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

So we need to reconcile Paul's teachings to Jesus, not the other way around. Especially a commandment written and spoken by God that Jesus kept, taught and lived. No greater Authority than He.

God's covenant has always been made with Israel including the New Covenant, what comes with God's is God's law.
The Sabbath is God's law thus saith the Lord.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Why everyone we are to follow in the scriptures kept God's Sabbath.
“God's covenant has always been made with Israel including the New Covenant, what comes with God's is God's law. “

A lot of people make the mistake of trying to place the old covenant as the new

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

they broke thier covenant God promised to make a new one with them not according to the one made with them beforehand from Sinai……

Your trying to make it out to be the same covenant they broke and we’re cursed by

I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake,

And no the new covenant has absolutely nothing to do with Moses law that’s already been shown several times in this thread but I go back to the blinded by the law of Moses stuff you’ve evidently ignored or can’t see

“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:2-4, 18‬ ‭

“Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:1, 4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For the law was given by Moses,

but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭

You aren’t able to hear this stuff because you arent looking to the gospel your looking at Moses word whicch I’ve shared three times with you is like putting a blindfold on and claiming you see

“For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. ( keeping one command from the law is irrelevant if you don’t keep the entire book )

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions,

till the seed should come to whom the promise was made;

and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:10-11, 13-14, 19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

None of this makes sense to you because you’re convinced of keeping the sabbath according to Moses law and the mediation of I forgiving angels . You’re in this situation brother but you aren’t able to consider what it’s saying
“and not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:13-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As long as you look past Jesus and to some rocks in a different covenant of course your going to try to worship by the rocks but God came forth and said here I am worship me in truth and spirit

The gospel is the new covenant given to Israel not according to the old the gospel was sent to all nations the law has never been and will never be the covenant for all nations it was Israel’s covenant and they broke it

The Sabbath is what Jesus said is doing righteousness

His righteousness is everlasting, so is His Sabbath.

Once God blesses, man cannot reverse Num 23:20 so any tinkering with God's Sabbath needs to have a thus saith the Lord. God never took back His Sabbath commandment. Man edited just as we were told would happen Dan 7:25 that sadly the majority followed instead of following what Jesus taught and lived

Isa 56:1 Thus says the Lord:

“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,

And His righteousness is everlasting

First you claimed the Sabbath commandment ended, then I asked where is the verse, you couldn't produce it

You then changed your argument to the Sabbath was made only to Israel.

I showed you the New Covenant is still made only to Israel and still has God's law Heb 8:10.

Now you are back to the Sabbath commandment ended- but where is the verse it ended in the NC? The Sabbath rest in the NC is still according to the commandment Luke 23:56

You are also not correct when you claim the New Covenant is established on all new laws, when no scripture says this.

God said the New Covenant is established on better promises Heb 8:6

God's law is perfect for converting the soul Psa 19:7 and once we tinker with perfection, its no longer perfect.

Why God did not get rid of His laws in the New Covenant

They went from tables of stone to tablets of the heart, just the placement changed. Now based on His strength, not ours, we just need to cooperate with Him. John 14:15-18

Why it is still a sin to break the least of these commandment in the NC thus saith the Lord Mat 5:19-30 because sin is breaking God's law 1 john 3:4 His version James 2:10-12 Rom 7:7 Mat 5:19-30 not mans.

i think four times now I’ve told you it’s part of the old covenant law made with Israel’s tribes the children of Jacob you aren’t willing to listen to scripture

@You then changed your argument to the Sabbath was made only to Israel.”

naw that’s been my argument all along it’s Israel’s old covenant made through Moses has never been a part of the gospel or requirement for the church

“I showed you the New Covenant is still made only to Israel and still has God's law Heb 8:10.”

No actually you haven’t even acknolwedged it Hebrews is quoting Jeremiah’s prophecy that says plainly the new covenant would not be accoring to the one he made with israel at Sinai after he delivered them from Egypt

here it is again

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You haven’t shown anything to support your argument you haven’t ever acknolwedges what that says . Your argument is the covenant hasnt changed from the commandments given at Sinai to those people then.

“You are also not correct when you claim the New Covenant is established on all new laws, when no scripture says this.”

it says it clearly several times you aren’t able to or aren’t willing to hear it and kind of wasting our time I’m never going to yoke myself to moses law and you are staring at it too intently to see the freedom in the gospel

“Why it is still a sin to break the least of these commandment in the NC thus saith the Lord Mat 5:19-30”

jesus was preaching to Jews born under and circumcised into the law of Moses Christian’s afterwards arent again the old covenant was made specifically with the children of Israel

thats why Jesus was telling Jews they need to still keep the law because he hadn’t died yet to remit thier sins under it and fulfill the death sentance it requires to be freed from it

these are just things you’re not going to understand right now . But again if you wish to keep a sabbath you should look into what the law says about keeping it unless you “ keep it your own way “ which many seem to do but that’s not really lawful according to the law of Moses it has lot of details anyways , I hope that special day a week helps you out

God's law is perfect for converting the soul Psa 19:7 and once we tinker with perfection, its no longer perfect.
So, ignoring the fact that this was written under the old covenant of the law at Sinai...

If the law is perfect, then how could Jesus give us a new commandment?

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."

"Saying His Sabbath is optional, when its a commandment": You can disagree with Paul in CL 2:16, GL 4:9-11 & RM 14:5 as well as with the kerygmatic Scriptures [There is a/one all-loving and just Lord or God (DT 6:4, JN 3:16, 2THS 1:6), who is both able (2TM 1:12) and willing (1TM 2:3-4) to provide all morally accountable human beings salvation or heaven—a wonderful life full of love, joy and peace forever. Human beings are selfish or sinful (RM 3:23, 2TM 3:2-4, CL 3:5), miserable (GL 5:19-21), and hopeless (EPH 2:12) when they reject God’s salvation or DOD (JN 3:18). Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ or the way (means of providing salvation) that God has chosen (JN 3:16, ACTS 16:30-31, PHP 2:9-11), although pre-NT truthseekers could/can learn a proto-gospel via general revelation combined with conscience. Then God’s Holy Spirit will establish a saving relationship with those who freely accept Him (RV 3:20) that will eventually achieve heaven when by means of persevering in learning God’s Word everyone cooperates fully with His will (RM 8:6-17, GL 6:7-9, EPH 1:13-14, HB 10:36, 12:1, JM 1:2-4).] all you want, but as for me I choose NOT to be cantankerous and bet that when we get to heaven we will learn that these Scriptures are true.

Psa 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;

All of His commandments are righteous

Psa 119:172 My tongue shall speak of Your word,
For all Your commandments are righteousness.

Including His Sabbath commandment

Isa 56:1 Thus says the Lord:

“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,

This article below was right. SDA's sure do seem to have a persecution complex.

3. SDAs Have a Persecution Complex

The entire philosophy of SDA teachings regarding end-time prophecy is that the wicked are going to unite with Sunday-keeping Christians to persecute SDAs. Catholicism is supposedly going to join hands with apostate Protestantism and Spiritualism, and this three-fold union is going to pass laws restricting the liberty of SDAs to worship on Saturday. Eventually, a death penalty will be passed for all who do not honor Sunday.

This frightening conspiracy theory has no basis in the Bible or in fact, but it is taught to children and new converts as if it were "gospel truth." As a result, SDAs operate in a constant state of mistrust and suspicion of other religions. Any positive statement made by a Sunday-keeping church leader regarding worship on Sunday is regarded as a "sign" of the end.

This delusional end-time scenario is referred to as the National Sunday Law. I remember vividly when SDA minister Jan Marcussen, author of a book on the subject, came to our church with a pile of newspaper clippings purporting to show the imminence of a national Sunday law. He solemnly held up his hand and declared to the congregation that it would happen so soon that a child could count the number of months. That was 34 years ago. Over 408 months have passed, and still counting! I have now been a Christian for over 39 years, and have met thousands of people from a multitude of denominations. To this day, I have yet to meet a single person who is even the least bit interested in persecuting SDAs for not honoring Sunday.

The primary danger of this delusional end-time scenario is that it will cause SDAs to misread the true signs of the end. It dupes SDAs into thinking that certain events must transpire prior to the return of Christ. For example, an SDA would expect Sunday laws to be passed prior to Christ's return. Therefore, an SDA may delay getting his heart ready for the return of Christ because he thinks he has plenty of time to make that decision because there are not yet any signs of imminent Sunday laws. Secondly, it feeds the "exclusive" mindset discussed above by creating an "us" versus "them" scenario. Finally, this impending conflict generates feelings of stress, and perhaps fear, in some people. The purpose and intent of Christianity is not to coerce people to join a religion out of fear. It is to share love, joy, and peace with people.

It's painfully obvious what you have placed your faith in for salvation and that is in your best efforts to obey the 10 commandments (with a heavy emphasis on the 4th commandment). Good luck with that! The standard is perfection (Romans 3:23) and salvation is found ONLY in Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 6:23) and not in law keeping. (Romans 3:20; Galatians 2:16; Galatians 3:10) Based on your multiple verses cited from the OT, it's obvious that you still have one foot in the old covenant plantation of law. Salvation is not found in what you DO (Romans 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8,9; Philippians 3:9 etc..) but in what Jesus Christ has already DONE. (Romans 3:24-28; 1 Corinthians 1:18-21; 15:1-4) It's time to get off your high horse and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

In regard to John 3:18-21, believers practice the truth, come to the light and are not in darkness, but are in the light. Don't confuse 'descriptive' passages of scripture with 'prescriptive' passages of scripture.

Acts 26:18 - to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?

Ephesians 5:8 - for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light.

To "believe" in Jesus unto salvation is to place our faith in/trust in/reliance in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Trusting in your best efforts to obey the 10 commandments as a means of salvation is not believing in Him but is believing in self. Moral self-reformation is not a substitute for regeneration. (John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:23)
