Because your interpretations are incorrect, either due to poor teaching or coming from your imagination.
See... this serves a purpose.

When we stand before the Lord, all speculation. No matter how dogmatic, convinced, and emotional we were about it.
Will be finally burned up as wood, hay, and stubble. And, heard no more.

Yet, as we judged others, and projected upon them our own faults?
It will become a part of the foundational basis for how He will judge us.
Judge not, lest ye be judged. "As you judge… you shall be judged."

I accept the fact that His ways are not my ways. He says so.
And, suspect, I will find out that some things I was sure about… (and others agreed with me)
will be found not to be the truth at all.

Poor teachings is no excuse for wrong thinking.
For we have all been exposed to poor teaching at various points in our lives. All of us.
Those who saw through them (by walking in grace) will be used to leave those who
grabbed unto the poor teachings gladly, to be without excuse.

What's happening here is going on record in Heaven.
Winners and losers are being sorted out before the Lord for us to see,
who will use our own words either against us, or for God's glory.

So conflicts will happen.
It is a part of God's plan for determining His evaluation by showing us the evidence
that we are now producing before God and his angels.

Merry Christmas everybody!

I also believe that the Bible is knowable and written to be understood.
But it takes great care and a deft touch to see the FULLNESS of the message intentionally portrayed in the INTENTIONAL PATTERNS.
Those who are led of the Spirit will find the few good teachers God raises up.
Those who walk according to the flesh will have a smorgasbord wide open array of choices to pick and choose from.
Broad and wide as to see what pleases them by teachers showing them God's Word as they wanted to see it.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads
to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road
that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14

Many are called. Called into salvation.
Many are saved! But, only a few out from the many will be found qualified to be chosen to serve by the Lord's side.

That's what we are right now in the middle of determining.
God always knew the final outcome.
He wants us to see for ourselves now, how we are, to know why things will be the way they will be.

God judges in a way that will make us see why the judgment is correct.
It will make us give up wanting to be what we are not really being.

Want me to make one up?

There would be nothing good forthcoming from you, no matter... Unless it were a TULIP based school.
I did attend and graduate from a three-year Bible college. Non-TULIP.
No wonder you keep it a secret. Not only "non-TULIP, but dispensationalists to boot. A double whammy!

Hay is useful to feed animals. Wood is also useful to make things. Ask Jesus. He was a carpenter's son.
But you will need gold, silver and precious stones in Heaven.
Gold will be seen as pavement for the roads.

Why bring death from this life with you?
“God wouldn’t command man to do something he’s not able to so. Therefore, man, of his own will and power, is able to believe, to be sinless…”

Pelagius, Wesley, Arminius…
Nonsense! God gave the Israelites the Law of Moses, which he commanded them to keep perfectly! But do your recall what Joshua told the Israelites?

You are wrong once again. (At least you're consistent in something!) You overlook 1Cor 3:15.

Rufus.... enjoy your three minutes of fame.
Which are three more than you ever had or likely ever will have. Look how pathetic you are. You're even ashamed of the college you attended even though you boast of your great theological education.

I wonder how a few who post here?
If we could see them in the flesh?

Would make us realize that they were frustrated cranks seeking an outlet.
Their keyboard offering them anonymity.

Yes... They are still useful tools for those who do know how to teach.
It allows for more details to be brought forth for those who had no idea what the Word contains.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.

If elect is to salvation, and Jesus is God’s elect, then Jesus was elected to salvation. Calvinist‘s hate when you disprove their RCC false doctrine.
Election doesn't just have to do with salvation! Election extends to multiple areas of life.

Are you for real?

That means you will have NOTHING to show for the time you were saved, other than having once believed in Jesus Christ..
Never having glorified Christ whom you will then love so much, it will hurt in shame to know that you selfishly chose to do
things your own way in preference to how He wanted it to be done.

If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved
—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

No rewards.
No, having pleased the Lord with your life by right thinking with God's Word.

You can have it...

Could you be more nebulous? What will be burned up: "All speculation" or all the speculators?

God’s word stays consistent. Election is to service. Salvation is never the context. Picking and choosing is not good Bible study.
So, Peter in first epistle was writing it to "service"?

God chose Israel to his chosen nation, didn't he? He chose Abraham to bring forth that nation, didn't he? And he chose Issac over Ishmael to inherit the promises God gave to his father, didn't he? And he chose Jacob over Esau. And God chose to raise up ungodly servants, as well, didn't he? He chose Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, etc.

Oh...so you believe in universal salvation, do you?
No I believe God offers salvation to all and some will accept the offer and be saved , and others will reject it and choose thier own lusts and desires instead of Jesus offer because of repentance and righteousness
