Yes, sheep and goats are more a reference to last days, where as now the wheat and tares are growing together. But sheep were lost, like the prodigal son story.
But a sheep is never referred to as a goat. Nowhere is anyone called a lost goat that turns into a saved sheep. Jesus never said He came for the lost goats or that He had goats in other pastures LOL we could go along with this line of thought but I think you get the point... :)

Somebody tell poor @Magenta that in proper context the sheep and goats are NATIONS.
And the whole scenario only comes about AFTER the Second Coming.

[Mat 25:32 KJV]
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats:

So the Calvintes set sail on a totally bogus soteriological odyssey predicated upon an hoax of their own design did they?
Poor blind nut-starved Calvinites. How they deserve our pity.

According to some who insist on irresistible grace?

Its the power to download new software into a soul, and to install it, to make one think Jesus is Lord.
Like a computer, there is no free will involved in the process.

God is sovereignly the computer programmer.

.......
You could have just said you didn't know. But thanks for playing along from home.

Right,,,

He saves as He wills.

Meaning? No amount of prayer and fasting on your part is going to get someone you love saved.
You can will for God to save them. You can weep and show God how much you want them saved....
In spite of that?

It all depends solely upon His mercy if they decide for themselves to believe.
What do you pray for from God for someone who isn't saved? What do you ask God to do?

This is incorrect. This would mean whole nations would be saved and whole nations would perish.

Yes my blind nut-starved fuzzy-tailed friend, I am very well aware of the fact that you have not the slightest idea of how the PIVOTAL chapter of Matthew 13 is intimately related to the marriage of the Lamb.

And neither did the blind nut-starved squirrels at that time.

[Mat 13:13 KJV]
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

[Mat 13:14 KJV]
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

[Mat 13:15 KJV]
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But it has to do with WILLFULLY and DELIBERATELY scorning the marriage proposal sincerely offered in good faith.
The same phenomenon that is happening to the blind Calvinite nut-starved squirrels of this age BTW.

***************************************************************
[Mat 13:16 KJV]
But blessed [are] your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

That would be me. Lucky me huh?
Well, I've grown use to your pulling your posts from deep within your you-know-where, but even I am astounded
that this post is so deep from where the sun don't shine, that I never realized it could be accessed by man. That had to burn you... a lot.
So then, post the verses that support your position regarding the marriage of the Lamb, if you can. You can't because
there is no such marriage proposal of the Lamb as you state it.

So two men who were dying for their crimes, both deserved to die. But God created one to live and one to die. How does that make God just.
God is not under obligation to save anyone! He does as He pleases! The very fact that you question him lets us all know that you believe that you should be god!

See. I'm right. About the squirrel thing.
Every one of your posts is grim confirmation. Tragically.

What do you pray for from God for someone who isn't saved? What do you ask God to do?
All you can ask for is that they get at least one a clear presentation of what is needed to know what the Gospel brings.

Its not something complex..

Jesus said, even a child can do it.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

God created them before men were fallen.
Omniscient God created all before men were ever born.

The key is in understanding how God would not cause belief, or unbelief..
Yet, all created free like the angels to choose.

You wouldn't pray that God would open their understanding?
