I understand how most of us feel about requiring life ending treatment for life saving procedures. When a child is involved, it makes it a much more emotional issue. I'm with you there. My only concerns are that :
A. The transplant is unnecessary.
After all, many studies show various diagnostic disagreements from physician to physician. The story even said that the there was no hurry right now to have the transplant. In other words, she is likely not in critical jeopardy of death if she doesn't get the heart replaced. That is assuming the one who stands to make a lot of money from the surgery is correct. Who on his staff will disagree.
B. Mothers can be overly trusting of the health care "professionals" as men are but moreso is their weakness. This is born out by Bible doctrine.
Example, my dentist as a child put lead and mercury and cadmium solder in my teeth. Mom didn't know any better. The dentist was a wicked slime bag who knew better, but he had money to make. The love of money is the root of all evil never ceases to be true when a college student take that hypocritical oath.
C.. Did you know that an innocent victim must be murdered for their organs to be harvested? We know that China imprisoned many Fallon Gong and Christian people to harvest and sell those organs while they are alive.
It's no different in America except for the willingness of so many more to agree to be butchered alive if they sign the agreement on the back of the driver's license.
I'm not trying to argumentative. I think we are on the same page with all of these. I've taught medical ethics and warned against the system all my life once I discovered these horrific things at every level of the medical industry.

That's why I call that swearing at graduation the Hypocritical Oath.

Money isn't the root of evil,. the WANT of money is the root of ALL kinds of evil.
Saw a video on ivermectin, another great help for health, and lambasted by big pharma as there is very little profit.
it's a medical jungle out there.
Jesus never sent anyone to a Dr. nor is there evidence Like ever practiced medicine after Jesus taught him God's healing, we must take ALL things to Him for His guidance, not think "run to the Dr." first thing for a health issue.
jglm.org has a teaching titled "Receiving Healing Through Communion", worth looking into and practicing, I always receive when I practice it as taught.

You know I'm a Traditional Text man.
I had to go back and check if I forgot to add "love" to that verse.
I've seen plenty of healings my friend.
I experienced that when very sick the other morning. The Lord truly is the Great Physician and can and does heal.

Have "want" of money and "love" of money. Jesus modeled how the Father wants us to live, he was borne up so that He would not even "dash His foot", meaning to me He would not stub His toe as long as He stayed in the Fathers presence. He only did what He saw the Father do, He only said what He heard the Father say.

Ummm, I hate to bring this up because according to the Bible we never did have any account of Jesus stubbing his toe, so I am not disputing that. Just pointing out that Jesus was scourged, and while carrying his cross He did stumble and hurt his knee and He was crucified. I believe Jesus stayed in the Father's presence during all that and that Jesus going through all that was the Father's will. So for the sake of full disclosure I think everyone should understand that. Oh, and one other thing, anyone wishing to follow the Lord needs to take up their cross and follow Him.

Ummm, it is certainly offensive and evil, but "unbelievable"? This is the same country whose acts of charity included giving wool blankets to the Native Americans, granted those blankets were infected with diseases that killed them in great numbers, but it did reveal the heart of gold of this nation. By "heart of gold" I am of course referring to a heart that seeks gold above all else. Since we all know about that why would we find this unbelievable?
