I know Eli laughed when I said months ago to keep a serious eye on my girl AOC and her potential to become the serious leader of the democrats, but look where we're at today.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/co...hing-new-leaders-aoc-stepping-void-rcna196816

When she first came on the scene she was getting way too much attention. I recall asking why. There was an obvious concerted push for her which made no sense. Whoever "they" are in the background of all the filth that takes place in politics, they can be seen at times by what they're doing. Stupidity under the control of they behind the curtain is quite the thing.

Maybe she will mature more as a person and have some common sense.
She is a millennial so those guys are a bit out there.
We Gen Xers as you've said elsewhere are the coolest of the bunch.
If she is able play the political games in congress, and resonate with her base, she will come into more and more power over time.

I don't think she's required to mature or grow in any way.
(My proof is the long list of aging, well establish, intellectually and morally bankrupt morons in congress.)

It wasn't a longshot prophecy or bold prediction really saying that AOC would become the leader of the democrats and their new face. It's a simple matter of she's really the only one they got on their bench. Contrast this to the current plotline of the Successors that Trump has cultivated. Look at the parties as two teams. GOP under Trump is currently a full bench of talent, a much younger and broader coalition even taking some of the stars from the middle and the left and integrating them into the party; JD Vance Marco Rubio, Tulsi, RFK Jr., Burgum, Hegseth and just to dab on them Elon Musk who though he can't really run even he was once a star for the left that they themselves pushed out and forsook and that is now really budding under the tutelage of Trump. One team has one star, the other team has like seven stars, it's not too hard to see where this is going.

What about Cori Bush? Oh right, husband indicted for wire fraud.

What about Tim Walz? Oh right, too masculine for the Democrats.

What about Kamala Harris? Oh right, the US is a country where no one likes her

I would be tempted to say Michelle Obama would actually not be the worst idea but then lately her attempt at launching a podcast crashed and burned pretty badly and now all the gigastacies are gossipping that her and Barack might be getting a divorce, it's probably the newest of the hot conspiracy theory. Note I don't actually subscribe to this conspiracy theory, but this is the basic premise of it.

To be fair she did say "we deserve better than this" so even she knows how big a joke she is.

the city , earlier this week, also declared itself a " lgbtqia sanctuary city" for gay/trans people that are worried about what trump may do the them.

no, i am not joking...
Nobody likes her here. I live in Boston. She came pre-programmed from Harvard and has no ideas of her own, or any personality of her own.
Only the elitists like her.
When ICE was going around Boston to get all the illegal criminals, the residents were going out of their houses and saying "THANK YOU" to the police.

We have a second Trump Cabinet Meeting. The superheroes of the Successors plotline assemble to report to President Trump and the nation about cuts and savings and DOGE efforts they have made as well as a general progress report and evaluation of the team. Once again Trump retains Rubio at his right hand but we see interestingly Pam Pondi now takes the lefthand seat. Bondi is the new head of the DOJ who has been very active in the last week particularly clashing with the democrats like AOC and Jasmine Crockett, as well as touching on other issues that seem to have made waves on here like those pertaining to the corruption of the previous regime that have surfaced like Biden's autopen pardons, issues with the illegal invaders and border, and thwarting the activist judges trying to overstep their boundaries and rule via judiciary. Pam Bondi might as well be added to the Successor list as she has delivered red meat for the hardline rightwing that wants the democrats to be investigated and exposed and possibly done justice to. Therefore I'll include a little video focusing on Bondi too as she rises as a player.

Overall a lot of recap and assessment done in the style like Trump's first Cabinet meeting, I like the style, very OG. Lots of good news in here not just in the cuts which may prove controversial, but take note o the foreign investments and promises of manufacturing returning as well as foreign policy. Praise Jesus for our strong leadership and the early fruits of success, may God continue to bless America.

White House mistakenly shares Yemen war plans with a journalist at The Atlantic

If these are real that's actually really good news and I wish they'd be more public about it. Love that Vice President Vance and Hegseth aren't going to be ripped off by the Europeans to play as their big bully and then just have them treat us like crap right afterwards and rip us off at every single turn. Vance will get some extra points for this, he's on our side.

LOL.. that is about all I can say really, well maybe this additional thought....... people say that Trump could cure cancer and people would

still find something wrong, but the real issue with real world consequences, even the most egregious errors are defended.

The real world consequence is Iran's little tribal houthi group is about to have bad weather, but frankly that shouldn't even be shocking or surprising as Trump has been making it rain on them a few times already in this term. I'm with Vance on this, Europe better be paying me for this, they need that trade waters more than me. Maybe they could get a clue and play ball on other US interest issues like Greenland. The era of giving the Europeans white privilege status to rip us off all the time and us do all the heavy lifting to play as their big bully for free is over, they need to cough up that money just like everyone else. Vance is correct and shows again like he did with the Zelensky spanking why he is the top tier Successor with Rubio, they serve the US not Europe.

Okay, still does not mean that war plans should be made public or discussed on a platform like Signal.

Well who chose to publish them? In a wider sense yes I agree with you, but in this circumstance the effect is not significant, the houthis are a backwater tribal group of pagans. Already America has been bombing them before Trump term and now during it, and we frankly do it mostly for Europe's benefit. This should be a more public issue, and Vance is correct, we need to stop caving and doing the bidding of these Europeans and these privileged globalists that whore themselves with the world. Their job is to serve US not them.

We and Europe are on the same page. Just seems to take some time to get the President and Mr Heghset to comprehend all of this.

Using a publicly available chat App to discuss war plans is a much bigger security breach than using your own private server for emails.
