The "bewitching hour" generally refers to a period of the night, often associated with folklore and supernatural beliefs, where it's believed the veil between the living and the spirit world is thin. While traditionally linked to the time around midnight or 3 AM, the term can also refer to a more figurative late-night time when mysterious or exciting things are said to happen.
I am reminded of Galatians 3 where Paul said, 1You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? 2This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 3Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?
Do you think the church is living in dark days where mysterious & exciting things are dominating them & steering them from the truth?
Galatians remember was written and was Paul’s response to false teachers having come after he left and oresched a bunch of wrong ideas … remember this part
“I marvel that
ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but
there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But
though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again,
If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
Galatians 1:6-9 KJV
Then later you get to later in the rebuke and correction
“O foolish Galatians,
who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?”
Galatians 3:1 KJV
The epistles were letters sent by the apostles but they were usually sent to address certain situations like of false teachers began to muck up the church beliefs in this case here.

who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?”

There were alot of Jewish Christian’s going around teaching that Christian’s had to convert to Judaism first be circumcised and obey the law of Moses then they could be Christian . Paul sent this letter In large part to correct that before it got started
It was something they settled at the Jerusalem counsel but some would come behind Paul and the others amd try to add back in the law of Moses and circumcision.
“And certain men which came down from Judæa taught the brethren, and said,
Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. When therefore
Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them,
should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
( this shows that Paul wasn’t just a lone wolf operating on his own independent of the other apostles but part of a group )
And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them. But
there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
And
the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

Galatians is mostly not all but about Paul correcting some things they were taught after he left that’s why he asks how have you been so swiftly removed fro the gospel into some other gospel ? Why do you think now you need to go back to circumcising your flesh and keeping Moses law ? You received the spirit because you believed the gospel we preached to you ect “
Or for instance Corinthians one was written because of a huge sin problem in the church , and Corinthians two is written because Paul repents of some of his harsh judgements against the sinner and the group who approves of it all …

false doctrine leading us from the truth rather than
