Trump bans Chinese gain-of-function research on viruses, long overdue after the Chinese released covid. We get some updates on RFK Jr as well as a small sit-down with him. RFK Jr. makes an interesting assessment of the democrat party, keep in mind RFK Jr. is from a famous democrat dynasty and was essentially pushed out of the party last Summer. He puts his finger exactly on the democrat party's current problem of basically having no platform and being relegated to being a mere opposition party with no real purpose besides slaking their own corruption.

Trump meets with the new PM of Canada Mark Carney whom actually seems kinda smart so far. Trump gives Carney a great glowing review really. Carney indicates while he doesn't want the British to sell Canada to Trump that he's willing to work with Trump and play ball to equalize Canada on the issues of military, the border, and trade to which Trump commends him actually. Though of course Trump reminds him to never say never neccessarily about Canada becoming part of the USA. At any rate a pretty good high profile Executive foreign meeting, one that shows actual promise for positive developments, praise Jesus.

A little post-Trump meeting speech from Canada's new PM Mark Carney. whom this meeting with Trump is something of a test for him too, noting many Canadians on this board and the News section particular. Seems he views the talks and meeting as constructive and he seems like a fairly smart guy. He seems very willing to work with Trump, he will be one to keep an eye on, maybe a sleeper hit for Canada, a hero they didn't expect. Compared to the weak little Polievre guy who tried to act like a tough guy against Trump, and of course the outgoing Governor, I can kinda see why Trump favored Carney, seems more down to Earth someone who actually listens and learns unlike Trudeau and Polievre. Canada might have finally picked a winner for PM after a very long drought of sane leadership, praise Jesus.

While the media ragebaits over the potential sale of Canada one day, really I'm seeing some big bro energy vibes between Trump and Carney in this. Despite the expectations of the haters, this Carney guy is getting on great it seems to me. We might end up seriously Naking North America Great Again, praise Jesus.

Why on earth would we want Canada to be part of our country? What we need is a solid relationship with Canada. Not passive aggressive suggestions about Canada being an American state.

Well maybe not all of Canada, have you considered that Alberta could easily secede from Canada and become a Texas of the North in many senses? This issue has flared up recently as well after the Canadian elections ironically because Alberta voted against Carney and is now kinda skeptical about the future after him winning. I suspect this meeting with Trump and its positive nature and Carney's subtle but noted emphasis of the upcoming G7 summit being hosted in Alberta is not at all an accident on Carney's part.

Good point, does anyone think Trump means French Canadians when he talks about a 51st state? A french speaking state? That just wouldn't be American (in the very narrow sense of I'm just talking about the USA when I say America). What is next, a Mexican speaking state? That would not be respectful of their sovereignty. It is unAmerican (again, not referring to North America when I say American, just the very narrow definition of USA).

If by "looking forward" you mean looking at the prophecies, yes.

Everyone should be warned, the Earth will be divided into ten kingdoms at the beginning of the tribulation and this is why Trump is talking about Canada and Greenland becoming part of the US, they will be part of one of the ten kingdoms.

There is also going to be a mark of the beast, and the technology is ready, as we speak, to roll that out now. No one should be deceived that they still need ten more years, they don't. Also, when they are ready all of this will happen suddenly. Maybe the world goes dark for two weeks, but once the internet is rebooted it will be controlled by their AI and quantum computers and everything will have changed.

At this point the only plague we are still waiting for is the three days of darkness.

There was someone who once said something along the lines of, you could be talking with Christ's Apostle, Paul, about a sandwich and he could turn it into a dissertation on the cross.

I actually do think Trump means all of it, even Quebec. Despite the video poster's obvious ire with the government I chose his video because he makes a case that goes overlooked, the cultural case basically. Trump's main argument is economic and military, and his argument does make sense that is would be mutually beneficial economically and militarily for all of Canada to basically join the USA don't get me wrong. The cultural argument though is in my opinion stronger because then it deals with how easily and realistically it be to integrate them, as you point out factors such as main language could be seen as a barrier to integration as in the case of Quebec while the cultural similarity of Alberta which both speaks our language and has their cowboy and oil culture, very reminiscient really of Texas, would mean they'd be able to integrate extremely easy.
