Saved by faith alone?

I was just making a point that even though the demons are in rebellion to God, they still believe in their head certain facts about Jesus. There are also folks who profess to be Christians and believe in their head certain facts about Jesus, without trusting in Him alone for salvation.

that there is one God and they also believe certain facts about Jesus, but their belief is not saving belief.

Just as there are also folks who profess to be Christians and believe certain facts about Jesus in their head, without
trusting in Jesus alone for salvation (but instead trust in works for salvation) which falls short of saving belief.

It's rather shocking to find out how little one understands after years of official study such as studier speaks of.

Certainly not before heart circumcision. Puzzling to say the least that any would think otherwise given everything said of the heart of the natural man, being wicked above all things and incurable (aside from having Jesus setting it free from being captive to the will of the devil). That guy who is a lover of darkness and slave to sin, suppressing the truth in unrighteousness, being inherently hostile in his mind toward God, is not going to up and decide to believe in his innermost self that which he can neither receive nor comprehend and finds to be foolish.

The fact no one trusted shows that people may believe in the cross. But do not trust it is all that is required

The demons/fallen angels believe That the Lord Jesus is the Savior of the world. However, they are already judged and their eternal destiny is set in stone. They obviously had their chance.

This distinction needs to be clarified every time.

Anyone who believes/trusts in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for their salvation is saved. And It's from our head. Reasoning, eating and metabolizing that truth that the Holy Spirit provides.

Our hearts are wicked, evil and against God until we are saved.
