Well they are all worthy reasons. Showing emotion is better then storing it up unless you think your such a hard guy. Though im a pretty emotional guys and i cry to good worship, i cried when my teacher left to go overseas, i cried when i graduated....and last night almost cried watching a wedding proposal at church....hmmmmmmmmmm so im pretty soft really.

oh and hey cry whenever the heck you want lol

It's ok for a guy cry just about whenever he feels like it, as long as he isn't in a situation in which doing so would prevent him from doing something necessary (such as combat or defense of himself or someone else).

I dont see anything wrong with a guy crying, wether over a really emotional touching movie, or if they're going through really tough times. Its a way to better understand him and know what he's feeling. Rather than have a guy suck everything up and never expressing himself.

It takes a big man to cry.
But it takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

I've never understood this ridiculous view society seems to have that men can never cry or they're weak. While I do believe women tend to be more emotional, the idea that a man shedding a tear is a sign of being a pansy just irritates me. While I'd be uncomfortable with a guy who would cry at almost everything... I'd feel the same way around a girl who did that as well.

My standards for guys are the same as with the girls: As long as it's not every single day and as long as there's a reason for it, I really don't care.

If a man is constantly crying, he is weak. That man will be pounced on by an aggresive woman and be owned. Then he will submit to her authority.

This is a stupid question. Men can cry whenever they want. So can women. It's a natural function. Cry as thou wilt, shalt be the whole of the law! lol.

Being in tune with your emotions is completely unrelated to your ability to use power tools (the true measure of a man).

I guess you cry when you need to.......when God comes in power, sometimes you can't and don't want to not cry.......the more we know of how much Jesus had to go through for us, and how abhorent sin is to God, tears would be only natural sometimes...........it's much more blessed to be able to cry and not worry what people think, than to bottle it up......

Obviously there's times and places, and no doubt sometimes we need to man up. But we need to be careful not to be too proud, or be just out to get favour in sight of other people. As the poem 'anyway' says......

'I
n the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.'

Jesus is the model man, and wasn't afraid to cry

We can cry when ever we need to do so. Jesus didn't hide his emotions, why should we? I'm a Christian man and I cry alot, and I'm not ashamed of it. It took some time for me to learn that, my father brought me up with his belief that ''you must be strong, and men never cry'' and that's how I learned it and that's the way I lived, do not show your emotions, be strong no matter what.
But when I experienced the love of our Father it just melted away all the defences I had been building up all the years and I cried, and I cried and I cried some more. I'm still a sensitive guy, I'm not dictated by my feeligs, I just acknkowledge them for what they are.

I cry ALL the time.

When im praying for salvation for someone.
Whe im prayign for Protection for someone.
When someone gets saved.
When someone rejects Christ.
When someone claims JESUS but by there actions doesnt live for him or reflect him in any way.
When i think about my MASTER and his holyness and glory adn that HE chose ME to be apart of HIMSELF.
I cry at births
I cry funerals, Tears of JOY for the saved...tears of Sorrow for those who may have not ben, adn for those in the room at the time who are also dead in there tresspasses.
I cry When i think about the beauty of chid birth and the symbology of that, how GOD created US as living spiritual metaphors for spiritual things.
I cry when i realise how small i am in comparison to the HUGENESS of GOD.
I cry as submission ot GOD when i feel so heavily tempted by the Enemy.
I cry when i Read certain peoples Testimonies, the ones where there HURT just screams from the pages.

Sometiems ill Cry for my Town, Soemtimes the Holy spirit will have me Cry for a random person i pass by...not all the time but certain times..its unexplainable.

I cry allot. Crying is good. Sometimes i think Humans laugh to much, and talk to much, and really if they were silent for a little GOD would immidately put somting on there hearts to cry about(and probably repent of) considering the state of this world. They may run from the notion...but it would happen either way.

Tears are WONDERFUL. Truly. David knew the POWER of tears, "When I cry to you, then shall my enemies turn back" Here is one of my favorite passages from my favorite psalm

"You tell my wanderings: put you my tears into your bottle: are they not in your book?" Psalm 56:9

God collects your tears. You want to know treasures your storing up in heaven? think about the ammount of tears you have cried. They are collected in GODs bottle and written in his BOOK. :)
