Maybe you should be focusing on Jesus Christ and his gospel that saves from all seductive lures, than focusing in on the seductive lure so much. Sure, I know what you mean, but you might end up practicing in that same way if you do anything without the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

May Jesus bless you.

I think temptation is in the eye of the beholder (much like beauty).

What is wrong with a seductive allure of vampires? It's just a silly fantasy. And we all have our fetishes....

Something I've noticed over the last 20 years is when I was a child, witches had green skin and warts and wore black cloaks and hats and cackled over a cauldron. Vampires were what we'd imagine Dracula to look like. Smartly dressed with a cape, white skin, red mouth, black hair...you know what I mean.
Now, witches are all beautiful young women who are all 'sexy', the same as the vampires. They're all very good looking and attraction is a big part of it.

The above is, of course, in relation to films and things.
Has anyone else noticed this?

A vampire is a metaphor for a sociopath - it's dangerous.

Backstreet's back - -alright

yes sadly its part of calling good bad and bad good...

Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

While there are some that actually drink blood, they are few and far between and it's actually frowned upon by most groups today that consider themselves "vampires."

I love Buffy and True Blood. I also don't go around sucking people's blood or sleeping in coffins...

If i'm in a vampire story, I wanna be the one killing the vampires. I hate vampires. They are parasites. All they do is take.

Well, that depends. Are you talking about the vampire myths or the vampire metaphors?
There can be a metaphor but I am pretty sure this thread is talking about the mythical creature.

and also Dude, I highly doubt you will ever kill a vampire as they are not real.
