Isaiah 53:11 King James Version
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

As is shown here, Jesus' death for our sins justifies us of all our sin before God. In fact, God laid all of our sins on Jesus himself and his death deals with all of them perfectly in terms of justice, justifying us before God. Our sins are handled in Jesus, he bore our sins and received the penalty for them.

Acts 10:43 King James Version
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

This verse requires a bit of understanding, but in a John Piper article I read he said "the name of Jesus goes hand in hand with fame of Jesus", so Jesus' name would be what he is famous for.

Hebrews 9:22 King James Version
22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Jesus' death allows for us to be forgiven.

Acts 13:38-39 King James Version
38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

God forgives all believers in Jesus Christ.

So as you can see through his death we have justification from sin and through his name (specifically his death for our sins) we have forgiveness of sins.

Yes, every knee SHOULD bow and all SHOULD believe,
because God provides every sinner the opportunity to do so,
but not everyone does so. Why?
Because God's gift of MFW does not determine how faith is exercised.
A & E were the first to disbelieve God and believe the devil's lie.

Psalm 62 verses 1-2; Acts 4 verse 12; Philippians 2 verse 9 ~ In God alone my soul finds rest; my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation. Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.

“God forgives all believers in Jesus Christ.

So as you can see through his death we have justification from sin and through his name (specifically his death for our sins) we have forgiveness of sins.”

thats what this is about

“and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:46-48‬ ‭

We hear and believe this part

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:3

and so we act in this faith because we do believe Jesus did that

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

because Jesus died for our sins we can then be baptized in his name for remission of our sins in his death

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? ( for our sins ) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:3-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

No doubt Jesus death is the source of forgivness of sin and his resurrection the source of our justification . The truth of that is what gives baptism for remission in his name the authority to remit sins according to Gods word .

“in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:11-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If we believe Jesus did his part and died for our sins and rose up for our justification , then baptism in his name for remission of sins has its meaning and value to the believer

The real reason to get baptized is because we believe he died for our sins and rose for our justification but it requires us to make a decision to get baptized in his name because we believe

Once anyone, decides to believe God, between God and them. Then the new begins in being born again by God not anyone else, including self
I see Accepted, Forgiven and sealed by God Father of risen Son for us all to be new in love and mercy too, thank you Father, PaPa, Dad, to all not a few. I am at the Altar, about to give a gift. Then I hear before leaving this gift, go and be reconciled to all those I have harmed in past eternity. I never could find all, I went and did as lead to do. And am still in process learning new daily too, standing in thanksgiving and praise all sin taken out of the way by Son for us all, as far as the east is form the west. To see and do is a gift from above, no need to be rewarded, since the reward is given us form God to love all in the same mercy and truth given us all first, by Son the One (Won) that Won for us to be new in trust it is finished John 19:30, the work(s) to get in as saved. In order to get given the new life in Father's Spirit and truth, Son had to complete Law perfectly first. That is what is now done for eternity, once for everyone Hebrews 10 particularly verse 10 reveals this truth. Best to read the whole chapter to see the context and not cherry pick, for me at least.
Now Christ is risen as our way, truth and new life offered to be with Father of Son, as (one) Won. The only one Jesus ever represented as the only one good is Father. through out his ministry, never spoke of self as God himself but the mediator to God the Father. That, he was sent to represent Father in the flesh first, the only true perfect human ever, to do this to this day. For us, to see to believe his love and mercy for us all, in going to that cross willingly first, without any flesh fight back, even though Jesus was rebuked for doing good and healing many, even feeding without charging anyone. They killed him over "Job security" no one was seeking the pharisees, the Levites for any advice anymore, at that time, Jealousy took them over, that were in charge then, so they killed him, only to see him risen three days later and preaching for forty days before Pentecost came. Getting the disciples ready for Father to be here as the wind. Amazing!
The reconciliation is done once for everyone by Son, we are forever forgiven by God Father through Son forever. Which leaves us the people, to choose to believe God in this mercy given by Son or not, to be born new by God for you too or not. That is all that is left to believe or not believe God consciously. to see being accepted, forgiven and sealed to see it by God for us as in Eph. 1:6,7, 13 tells me of, yet best to read the entire Epistle and trust Father, Daddy, Papa in risen Son for you too. God Father reveals truth to you too, in love and mercy for all not a few anymore, as is thought to be as is, and is not truth, thank you
Wow, woe is me Isaiah 6:1-7 To be new from God, in God's Spirit and truth it begins at belief between God and you personally above everything else first. At least this is truth for me and has been. Growing in this grace that God has not ever taken away, Wow woe is me! Is for us all, not just me to believe too, thank you Father and Son as Won (One)

“Once anyone, decides to believe God, between God and them. Then the new begins in being born again by God not anyone else, including self”

yes that’s why we should learn what he taught us about things because it’s all his way not our way .

God has given us this promise

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we can respond by rejecting it and saying “ God saves us we don’t save oureelves “ or we can accept what he’s done and partake of the promise in his word . The doctrine of the gospel is Gods salvation . It’s been given To all and will save anyone who accepts it

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Non believers aren’t rushing to get baptized in his name is the thing but people who believe his word about Jesus dying for our sins and being raised for our justification and then hear the message about baptism in his name for remission of sins ……that belief leads them to get baptized willingly because they believe the message God sent to us about Jesus and his kk from

the point is that’s what HE said about being saved . So we need to accept it if we’re saying o my he can save us or make us new . That stuff is what the gospel is all about

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:5‬

Notice when Jesus began to preach the gospel this happened first and a voice came from heaven saying “ this is my son in who I am well pleased “

even as Jesus began his ministry he was born of water and spirit.

“And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, ( born of water )

he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: ( born of spirit ) and there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”( the son of God is announced )
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when we say “ God does something “ this isn’t a reason to reject how he said things are accomplished . It’s the reason to accept it so for instance

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38-40‬ ‭KJV‬‬

some of the people there accepted what Peter was saying so they got baptized in Jesus name believing the gospel . Others when they hear the exact same words reject what Peter is saying so these folks have no reason to ever get baptized in his name because they don’t believe the word pertaining to it.

there’s no reason to get baptized in Jesus name for remission of sins if we don’t believe what the word says about it

Does that make sense at all to you ?

bit of a person believes this part

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God made the promises we have to hear them and believe so that we will act. He’s already suffered and died for us and told us all we need to know but we can reject it and receive that reward or accept it and be saved

The only reason baptism means anything is because of the word telling us what it means to be baptized into Jesus

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:3-6‬ ‭

only belief matters if I believe what Paul’s telling the church I’m going to want to be baptized in his name for remission of my sins and be United with him in his death for me . If I don’t believe what Paul’s teaching the church there’s absolutely no reason for me to get baptized in Jesus name

“ I’m “already saved “my sins are “already forgiven “….has become the reason people reject Gods valuable doctrines that promise salvation if we believe his word …..

Yep. Not sure if any of us need to comment since it’s a statement with Bible verses quoted. Plus everyone on here already claims to be a Christian, so Im not sure if you’re even wanting us to reply. All we can do is agree, since you’re not really asking a question. Good statement.

Jesus forgiving sins... this is one proof of His deity.

I could say 'I forgive you' to a friend who offends me, but Jesus says He forgives sin of people who had not personally offended Him like a regular disagreement.

That's having power over sin itself.

Only God can do that.

Isaiah 53:11 . . He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge
shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Christianity is a lethal religion. It isn't satisfied with folks looking on as
observers, rather, it invites them to participate.

The thing is: by a mysterious administrative process which I do not yet fully
understand, God reckons folks unified with Christ as joint principals in his
crucifixion, viz: they are accounted as been there with him on the cross.

● Rom 6:3 . .Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

● Rom 6:6 . . Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him

● Gal 2:20 . . I am crucified with Christ

● Col 3:3 . . For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

In addition; seeing as how folks unified with Christ are accounted participants
with him when he was crucified, then they are also accounted participants with
him when his crucified dead body was restored to life.

● Rom 6:4-5 . . For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his
death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection

● Eph 2:6 . . God raised us up with Christ

● Col 2:12 . . Buried with him in baptism, wherein also you are risen with
him

● Col 3:1-3 . . You have been raised with Christ,

Now, the thing is: Jesus' crucified dead body was restored to life with
immortality. (Rom 6:9, Rev 1:18, Rev 2:8) So then, folks unified with Christ
in his death and resurrection have perpetual youth in the bag, i.e. it's a done
deal and it's irrevocable.

FAQ: How would someone go about becoming a joint principal with Christ in
his crucifixion and his resurrection?

REPLY: RSVP

Find a quiet moment. Cover your face with your hands for a sense of privacy
and simply speak with God-- aloud or under your breath --saying, in your
own words:

"God, I'm a sinner with a lot to answer for. I would like to be accounted
crucified and resurrected with your son if I may."

FAQ: Supposing I don't have a lot to answer for.

REPLY: Do as I advise anyway because the justice for any amount of sin is
death (Rom 6:23) and everyone fails to measure up to God's sinless
perfection.

● Rom 3:23 . . All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Sadly, so much wrong here. Yes, the blood of Jesus was the price He paid for the purpose of all who repented and believed in Him could have their sins cleansed. However, without His resurrecting there would be NO salvation for mankind. The blood is there to be applied, yes. However, one must repent and ASK Jesus to come into their lives. Without repentance, there can be no salvation.

God laid all the kinds of sins man can commit upon Jesus on the Cross. When one repents, and the blood is applied, God looks and sees the blood and not our sins. Your statement quoting someone concerning the "fame" of Jesus has nothing to do with Gods Master Plan for mans pathway to salvation/eternal life.

By that, you make man into savior and Jesus Christ not the Savior.
But there can only be one Savior - and that Savior is Jesus Christ, THE Savior, having total and sole power over everything that accompanies the title of Savior.

[Tit 3:4-6 KJV]
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

[Phl 3:20 KJV]
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Without repentance, there can be no salvation.

Actually my friend that's backwards, without Salvation there can be no repentance. See Jesus as Saviour and Prince gives repentance Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Thats part of His Exaltation to give or cause repentance, and that strictly for Israel, no not national israel, but Spiritual Israel, His Spiritual Seed Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Actually my friend that's backwards, without Salvation there can be no repentance. See Jesus as Saviour and Prince gives repentance Acts 5:31

And this too, brightfame52:

[2Ti 2:25 KJV] 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

And this too, brightfame52:

Thats right, and notice what accompanies this repentance, the acknowledging of the Truth, which is Faith to believe the Truth.

So that comes with the repentance Jesus gives in Acts 5:31 as well

Also just for a side note, that same word for acknowledging, its the greek word epignōsis Paul used here 1 Tim 2:4

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

So it all hinges on Gods Sovereign prerogative who will come unto the knowledge of the Truth and be saved
