Why should we diligently guard our hearts? And how?

What you think about it the key. If looking at a woman in lust and thinking about being with her makes you an Adulterer already, then we are going to be judged on our very thoughts. Am I right?

Having an impure thought is not a sin. It's what we do with that thought when it comes to mind that is either released or turns to sin if you entertain that impure thought and think about it and give it your time.

2nd Corinthians 10:5
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;.../KJV

So as soon as the thought occurs to you, you can react. Where did that come from? I reject that thought and take it captive to the Lord Jesus, in Jesus name, and release it and don't think about it anymore. If you entertain an adulterous thought it opens the door of your heart to receive the spirit of lust and you have a spirit of lust seed within you, that will grow into a root of lust and finally a tree of lust that will consume your life (Proverbs 4:23). So by taking the thought captive to the Lord and rejecting to entertain the thought then it will not leave the door open for it to damage your heart. You have therefore, guarded your heart!

Ok great, it worked, but what do I think about now? I'm glad you asked because the word of God is very clear about that.

So I've given you, what not to think about and to think about. What does all that have to do with Gossip, anyway?
Gossiping is Impure Thoughts with an added dimension to it, Speech. And we all know that the power of life and death are in the tongue, right? So wouldn't gossiping even be worse than lustful thoughts? Someone brought t out of their heart to disparage someone, true not true doesn't matter, it's still disparaging someone and even Fellowshipping with others with mutual encouragement? It sounds worse to me. More dangerous. I just checked and it isn't in my Christian Job Description to pick specific people to disparage and curse with my words.

As I have already stated, gossip is not a gift of the Holy Spirit. It is a gift from another spirit. I agree that temptation is not a sin and the Bible would concur. It is what we do with the temptation that is the proof.

Gentlemen, she has a full mad on now. All you have to do to double check if it is a fact or not is to go ask some of the men in your circle. Ask your husband if you haven't booted him out yet. Do women gossip more than men? Ask him that and be honest about what he says!

Oh No, Sister! I was too smart for that. I saw the red flags early and was prepared, lol. She had to leave.

That was just a battle of the sexes jab at you because that's how MOST women are, and you seem to have a problem with the men in this thread so that makes you sound just like them so I figured you may have kicked him out already.

In fairness to my exwife, she was smart and I overlooked it for a moment so she did get more than she deserved, but I am ok with that because now I for sure do not owe her anything! And that made it worth it. She had zero clue about everything I was and have. No need to tell her that at this point though, it'd just upset her, lol.

That word picture I mentioned, another help in ministry is speaking of constantly remembering imagined wrongs and lashing out as dragging luggage around by the handle,

He's just responding to the leftist's fashion Susana. Those guys do it on themselves trying to look and dress like they're in the circus.
Trump on the other hand wants to bring back good haircuts, good clothes and superb hairstyles like his. Everyone might even be required to dye their hair blonde soon.
You have to admit, it's a better look!

You state you are separated; not divorced. I wonder what she would say though. Your current marriage standing has nothing to do with my personal life and it would be wise if you saw that for your own good. I have a problem with men who have a problem with women. Using the term battle of the sexes indicates your mindset and I have hope that people would rise above this type of chronic worldliness and actually TRY to renew the way they react and think by BELIEVING the scriptures. I can go to any unChristian forum or any other place non believers congregate and read the same type of things you have posted. I choose not to do that although I have friends who are not saved and frankly, I appreciate thoughtful discussion and not what has been offered by you and as for Shittim?

That’s why he uses so much foundation? Not even his skin color. It’s like a teenage girl. Overdoing things and winds up looking like a lady of the night.

I don't go around reading your posts; I got the info of separation off your short bio. It's there. It's doubtful I am like your wife, it's simply that you appear to lump all women together. You don't sound stupid but there it is. This thread was not even ever about gossip. Maybe check the op for reference. I am sure that just moving on would be best. :)
