I'm running the Mega Freight mod, so the Bactrian looks a bit small. I'm flying an Exchanger. 93 turrets, 144,000 tons cargo space, 36 fighter bays but I never bother. I'm running seven of them. Every jump costs me half a million in employee wages, but I can make more than a hundred million on a simple two-point trade route.
After I subjugate the last of the pirate lairs I'm gonna park all but one.
wow yeah thats totaly endgame. probably costs around 2-300mil?
i like to put hai systems. 5 diamond regenerators and maybe a large korath system. but the heat is bad.

I'm more about story when I play games. But I hear those games are pretty fun, for those who like twitch (reflex, with a lot of dodging) gaming.
If you plan to get Nightreign ASAP, does that mean you have already beaten Elden Ring?
Thank you! Its nice meeting you Lynx. They are super fun and immersive. I like them for the reasons you have mentioned, along with some others. The soundtracks are amazing, and areas diverse. I get a look into the creator/s imagination and get to see the dark creativity. They've also taught me patience like nothing else could haha..but also sometimes a potty mouth. Though I try hard to keep my language pure.
I haven't beaten Elden ring as I couldn't find anyone to play with and my Husband hated it :,( we did get quite far though. It was measurabley more difficult than the other souls games.
I love the Borderlands series, but the devs broke my heart when Maya, my Borderlands 2 main got killed off in Borderlands 3 and we got stuck with Ava.
They're always killing off all these great characters. I think they killed off Angel and Roland from Borderlands 2 for emotional effect. It worked but I personally didn't appreciate it.
When they killed off Maya, that was just the last straw. I was so done with it all. I didn't play Maya for 11 years just so they can kill her off on the next Borderlands game. I raised hell in all the Borderlands official pages like their forums, twitch channel and discord. As did a lot of other Borderlands players.
So I'm I really looking forward to Borderlands 4 but I'm going to wait for other players to play it to know if it's any good. I'm sure gameplay will be awesome as is often the case (except for the prequel - I don't know....it kind of felt boring and didn't finish it) but I want to hear from other people if the story is good and if any of the previous characters get killed off.
I hope they don't kill Mr. Torgue off - that guy is HILARIOUS. What he did in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was EPIC.
Borderlands is the Saturday Night Live of video games. At least as far as story and dialog.
From my perspective the problem is there are too many games trying to be SNL. Borderlands does it well, but there are just SO MANY others. "We can't think of a good story, so let's just do another parody mashup."
So yeah, no, I didn't play any of the Borderlands games. Not because there's anything wrong with Borderlands specifically, but because the market is glutted and I got burned out on them.

Anyone play the Tomb Raider Survivor Trilogy? I loved it, gameplay was so fun even if they did make Lara kind of bland but overall fun. Also am playing Assassins Creed newer games. Liked Orgins, LOVED Odyssey, Vahalla so far is blah to go back to Odyssey.

I've started getting back into the endless sky. I got the new version of the game(apparently mine was very outdated) and have been focusing on storylines (and crushing pirates with my army of stolen ships.) I finished the Free worlds campaign (I think? although the syndicate is still hostile... nos spoilers plz) and found a working jump drive on a korath ship that must have gotten really suprised, because normally they jump out if you get them low enough, so I stole his jump drive and have been focusing on traveling onto every unknown star except the maze in the south. currently working on coalition.
also, You don't know how to get a city ship liscense? I really want a bactrian but for now am stuck with a shield beetle.

That used to be an endgame ship. That was back in the day though. The whole game has moved past that. The entire city ship questline is pretty much obsolete now, and should probably be removed.
But if you want to, you can start the quest line somewhere in the deep.
I just got the mega freight mod and rock freighters that are so big pirates can't touch them. They draw a lot of pirate interest, but pirates immediately get slagged.
yup. bactrian kinda sucks. but now I realized that the korath ship actually is pretty insane as far as outfit capacity. so I can just repeat capture and sell krath raiders in remnant space. (the spire has insane amount of bunks. pair that with the nerve gas and...) 15M in seconds.
15 million in fines, and counting...Tsk tsk tsk, nerve gas... You gonna get in trouble!
but thats only one raider, so... now I am camping near korath space farming jump drives.
I know this one guy loaded up on ramscoops, enough to keep cloak on permanently, and camped on a star until passing battles gave him enough jump drives to outfit his whole fleet.
Haven't tried it myself, but I've been busy with other stuff. GMDX just got released as a fully supported DX mod.
I used to be one of the beta testers for GMDX, until the dev said "Okay I'm done." Time to play DX again. Aaaaaand... I can still farm tranq darts by dodging in front of an enemy with a dart gun. Dev tried many different tactics, but never did find a good fix for that. But yeah, 9 tier 3 ramscoops should be able to get you permanent cloak for your farming.
Speaking of games, i had to rebuild a computer for my kids this weekend because the other one died from heat.
I'm thinking of building them a gaming desktop which is the equivalent of Alienware in terms of specs, but it's cheaper cos you built it yourself. And they can get involved in the build process too.
