This is the neo-pharisee belief, and completely anti-Christ

I am even more taken aback by how messed up dispensationalism is....

If all who follow Jesus are ‘Israel’, and gentiles have been grafted in to be part of the olive tree, the idea of ‘Israel’ returning to the land makes no sense.

Dispensationalism denies the Kingship of Christ at its core.

Dispensationalism has a separate/dualistic view of Israel and the Church. Who are the real Replacement Theology folks?

The true Israel is —God’s covenant people through faith placed in Christ, either waiting for His arrival or upon His arrival and thereafter.

One covenant people - spiritual Israel.

What does any of this have to do with the faith of Christ? We are to die to the old man that tells us to obey the flesh rather than the voice of God. The apostles and all other children of Israel who believed didn't stop being sons of Abraham. Their identity glorified God because it proved his faithfulness to his word.

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:9-10
Zacchaeus was a "lost sheep of the house of Israel" who RECEIVED the King (and kingdom) the first go-around. Good for him.
However, Christ was ultimately rejected by the nation, fulfilling enormous quantities of PROPHECY.
And according to the PROPHECY contained in Ps 118:26, the nation Israel will RECEIVE Him in the latter days.

Mat 10:6
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mat 15:24
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Luk 17:25
But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

Luk 13:35
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, ***until*** the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

***********************************************************************

The statement Jesus quotes in Gospel of Luke 13:35 comes from Book of Psalms 118:26.

Psalm passage

“Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.”
— Psalm 118:26

Full context (Psalm 118:22–26)

This section is a Messianic passage frequently cited in the New Testament:

Psalm 118:22 — “The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.”

Psalm 118:23 — “This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.”

Psalm 118:26 — “Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD.”

Jesus also applies the “rejected stone” verse to Himself in the Gospels.

Why Jesus quotes Psalm 118

When Jesus says:

“Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
— Gospel of Luke 13:35

He is referring to Israel’s future acknowledgment of Him using the Messianic greeting from Psalm 118.

This same phrase was already shouted by the crowds during the triumphal entry:

Gospel of Matthew 21:9

Gospel of John 12:13

But in Luke 13:35 the meaning is future and corporate — many interpreters connect it to Israel’s national recognition of Messiah, which parallels passages like:

Book of Zechariah 12:10

Epistle to the Romans 11:26

Important background

Psalm 118 is part of the Hallel Psalms (Psalms 113–118) sung during the Passover festival, which is why the crowd used this phrase when welcoming Jesus.

Christian neo-pharisaism hinges on 2 covenant theology, contrary to what scripture witnesses. There is only one covenant, ie the new covenant. Worn out clothes get discarded, not hung in the closet for use 20 years later. Or 2000 years later in the case of the old, worn out covenant.

For finding fault he says, "Behold, days are coming," says the Lord, "and I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. Hebrews 8:8
In the saying, new, he has made the first old (παλαιόω ). And the one being old (παλαιόω ) and becoming aged (γηράσκω) is near disappearance. Hebrews 8:13

Yes agree, the letter is written to the Hebrews who are believers, with a specific theme throughout.

The old being the Mosaic Covenant to the New Temple of God those in whom He dwells.

Is this your view?

A-10 Warthog Is Doing Something HUGE to Iran

These things are slower than the other jets and are not stealthy and usually fly much lower. That is why you have to wait until air defenses are gone, but once they are, this thing is terrifying to anyone on the ground. The IRGC will now be completely terrified, hiding in holes in the ground.

I suspect this is what the Kurds and the Prince were waiting for. The US probably told them to wait until they brought out the warthogs.

Manpads can take A-10s down

Yes, the old covenant is the covenant made with Israel through Moses and the new covenant is the covenant made with the houses of Israel and Judah through Christ.

No, you are not capable, but you are full of hot air
I am full of knowledge of the TRUTH. You are filled with.....something else.

Psa 2:2
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Psa 2:8
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psa 2:9
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Psa 2:10
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Zec 14:3
Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Zec 14:4
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Zec 14:9
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Zec 14:11
And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

Rev 19:15
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev 19:19
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

Then comes the judgement upon those who survive of the NATIONS.

Mat 25:31
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Mat 25:32
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Mat 25:33
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Mat 25:34
Then shall the King say unto them (ALL THE NATIONS) on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

That hodgepodge of disconnected bafflegab does nothing to defy the tremendously voluminous fully featured detailed prophecies regarding the "end times" reconstitution (happening now) and redemption (soon to come to pass) of the Nation Israel.

Oh and BTW, the saga of Joseph (a clear compelling UNDENIABLE type of Christ), was entered onto the record by Yeshua for the express purpose for foretelling exactly this! The final reconciling of Christ to His brothers the nation Israel.

All of this prophesied by God thru Moses waaaaaayyyyy back in Deut 30!

[Deu 30:1-6 KJV]
1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call [them] to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

4 If [any] of thine be driven out unto the outmost [parts] of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

aka entering into the New Covenant in national repentance, mirroring the prophetic saga of Joseph
I think you are the only other person I have ever heard use that term in my lifetime.

Are/ were you a Dr Who/Tom Baker fan too?
