WOW! How does one follow up posting after all that? :)

After battling some bad G.I. issues recently and trying to rule reasons for it out, I have come to the realization that it all started during the first heat wave we had here almost 2 weeks ago. I realized that I had a TON of sweating, much more than I'm used to even after intense work outs. So I thought maybe it's an electrolyte imbalance?
I'm not a big fan of sports drinks due to the dyes and sugars most of them contain. Not a fan of aspartame or sucralose, which many of the "sugar free" version contain. I searched our local grocery store's web sites for keto style, low carb, no sugar electrolyte powders and found this one:

they also have the flavor enhancer drops as well as electrolyte drops, but I haven't tried those yet.
I liked both flavors, though I really like the lemon-lime, and I don't usually like that combo (unless its 7up/sprite). And so far no drying out of the mouth after taste.

You may still be dehydrated, why not try more water? I live in Florida and it is a very real concern here.

I don't work outside anymore, but this is my recommendation for remaining hydrated. Fill a 5 gallon cooler with ice and water. Add 1 teaspoon of salt. Drink a cup at least every half hour.

Here's another electrolyte source

Dead Sea Salt
I started using a pinch in a glass of water to improve my minerals, like essential electrolytes. Most people need to supplement with proper minerals. When I got chest discomfort, a headache and other signs of dehydration after working outside, I went straight home and drank glasses of water with a pinch of Dead Sea Salt. I don't know of any commercial sports drink that has as many different minerals. Then I rubbed a solution of it on my chest and calves. They felt better as did the headache. Coconut water was also good.

I don't know much about Dead Sea salt. I have always used a daily vitamin and mineral supplement. I don't have the muscle cramps that many of have.

If your supplements are quality, they should have a higher concentration of minerals than Dead Sea Salt. The recommendations of salt is to contribute to those who want to be hydrated and in the healthiest ways. My personal example was a recent issue I had at the end of an extremely hot and humid day of exertion. I had not drunk any water other than a can of coconut water before hauling trees and the two cups of morning coffee.

I'm recovering from broken heart syndrome where the left side becomes enlarged and various complications occur. I push myself to strengthen and reverse this, which is not possible with drugs. Generally drugs don't bring about healing and strength. However, instead of going to an ER as many would when experiencing symptoms, I took what the Lord taught me through His many experts and applied the simple principles. I was fine after making my own healthy beverage from the sea salt and applying a stronger solution over the chest and muscles.

That's a blessing that the Lord provides you supplements.
I need to buy some more when I get a full time daily job in my field.
Right now, I'm offering mini consults here free to the recipients.

I'm in a hurry right now, but you can find an analysis online of the mineral content of the pure variety of Dead Sea Salt for dietary use. The other one I recommend is Redmond. It's mined in Utah and not exposed to modern pollutants. DSS is also very pure.

So I'm trying a new tea to boost metabolism, along with lots of exercise. My mother told me about this concoction but i'm pretty sure we all may have heard about this before in order to be healthy and lose weight.
Anyways, it's green tea with a turmeric, ginger, and curcumin pill poured in, with a tip of a plastic knife of stevia.
Apparently, this drink is supposed to help boost metabolism and burn fat, along with exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
Most of my work has me mostly at a computer, so this works for me.
Has anyone else tried this combination before, and did you have good results?

That won't hurt but if you want to lose fat consistently google "ketoflex 12/3". I ran into this while doing research about Alzhiemiers. I have been losing 2 lbs. a week and finally had to stop the process. Just keeping it steady now. The thing is you don't get hungry (really). If you can maintain a schedule you can lose all the weight you wish.

I've tried this before 3 times and pretty much gained all the weight back 3 times, so I will most likely not be taking this advice.

I don’t know if anyone here knows that Whole Earth Sweetener changed its ingredients, so it no longer has erythritol as an ingredient. They replaced that ingredient with allulose. I think @HealthAndHappiness might know more about that ingredient but there are now three main ingredients in this common sweetener that you see all over in restaurants, including coffee and tea shops. Those three ingredients are Stevia, Monk Fruit and Allulose, and apparently it is “1:1 with sugar” meaning you can use it as a sugar alternative while baking, or making drinks.

I put this sweetener in my spearmint tea and it tastes amazing! Two to three heaping scoops.

Whole Earth Zero Calorie Stevia, Monk Fruit & Allulose Sweetener, Zero Calorie Sugar Substitute, Keto-Friendly, Non-GMO, No Erythritol, Erythritol-Free, Pouch, 3LB Pouch https://a.co/d/09Z7d5g7

That's good news.
I talked to the Sweet Leaf company a few years ago because I wanted to inventory my store, (yet to open), with the high quality brand. It was only one of two brands that didn't have an aftertaste in coffee. They used a better source for stevia. I asked about the Allulose. I was told that it was a filler and flowing agent. Otherwise the packets would only have a minute amount of powder. After doing my own research on the substance, I could see no down sides.

"Allulose has been shown to improve metabolic health, regulate blood sugar, and support gut microbiota."

I'll look locally for Whole Earth Sweetner and try it.
Thanks!

I meant to get back with you about ketosis. You need to give a week or so with no carbs before your body begins to burn the fat. The body runs on carbs, with our modern lifestyle we can easily consume more calories than we burn so the body stores the excess calories as fat. When you stop feeding your body carbs the body still needs carbs so it converts the fat back to carbs. That is pretty much the equivalent of melting fat. The trick is to eat high fiber vegetables so you stay full, extremely limit carbs and eat fatty items, avacodos etc. you have to be careful with the red meat to keep your cholesterol in check but poultry isn’t nearly as bad. The 12/3 is twelve hours between your last meal, and eat the last meal three hours before bed time.
I’ve lost nearly 40 pounds to date.

I also apologize for turning down your keto option, on my previous post

Wow! That is so cool! I’ve been meaning to find something that improves metabolic health, as my current metabolic health is age 45, while I am 38 years old, so it would be great to improve it.

Thanks @HealthAndHappiness , i think metabolic age is definitely a topic not talked about enough.

Your drink recipe is real healthy!

I've added fresh ground peppercorns to it and tastes more like a chai tea. Pepper multiplies the benefits of the Turmeric.
Do you use fresh or powdered ginger?

You know, I might actually try that. First, I’m going to start cutting off the sugar that I eat, such as ice cream, candy, and bakery goods that seem to be surrounding me at this household. In about two weeks is when I’ll start.
