The only covenant that God remembers our sins no more is with Israel

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12;For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

We enter this covenant not by nationality but by faith and receive all of the promises that came through the bloodline of Abraham, including the Blessing God gives on His Sabbath Exo20:11 and blesses the man who keeps it Isa56:2 that no man can take away what God blessed Num23:20 they will sadly just forfeit their own Psa37:22

Gal 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29;And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

So the same promises made through Abraham we receive through faith. Why God's only covenant that remembers our sins no more is still with Israel, we enter through faith and in by doing so have God's laws written in our minds to know and do them and written in our hearts because we love Him so much and want do what He asks John14:15-18 sadly not everyone is in this covenant because they have rejected the terms - they won't subject themselves to His laws Rom 8:7-8 - no one is sealed by the Holy Spirit by being in rebellion to God and His commandments 1John2:4 Heb 10:26-30 - He invites everyone to join themselves to the LORD to be His servant Isa56:6 not everyone responds to His invitation.

I hope you meant "the only covenant that God remembers our sins no more is with [SPIRITUAL] Israel" (Rom. 2:28-29, 4:16-18, Gal. 3:28).
With this amendment, the rest of your post is agreeable.

Yes, William Miller was widely regarded as a false prophet, particularly after the failure of his prediction that Jesus Christ would return around 1844, an event known as the Great Disappointment. His failed predictions led to widespread criticism and the splintering of his followers. (Google.Brittannica)
That is not a link. You haven't even cited a complete reference. The (google. Brittanica) is more or less you saying to me, go find it yourself.

I tried and can't, so please cite your source and provide a link.

Incidentally, Miller interpreted Scripture wrong, He never prophesied or claimed to be a prophet. So if someone called him a false prophet they are misspeaking.

But we knew that already
I'm pleasantly surprised ( Praise The Lord ) that you and @Inquisitor are "coming out" and admitting that you know which side of this "Cosmic Conflict" you and I are on... This Battle between Jesus and His Angels and Satan and his angels.
This Great Controversy between good and evil, that's been going on since before the Earth was created. When Lucifer convinced a third of the Heavenly Angels, that they didn't need to follow Gods Law, the foundation of His Heavenly Kingdom, and were kicked out for it.

I pray that all Y'all who are spiritually believing and following these fallen angels here on Earth, REPENT and come to JESUS, for there is NO OTHER WAY... back into Heavenly Eden.

You and Inquisitor (& @Dino246 ) are like the "cherry on the top" of my year long sojourn here in these "shark infested" waters.

How could Lucifer follow God's law? There was no law to follow. Is another one of EG White's false visions?

How could Lucifer follow God's law?
God's character is fundamentally centered on love. This love forms the basis of God's law in His Heavenly Kingdom.

The law, as presented in the Bible, is not merely a set of rules but is a reflection of God's loving nature, designed to foster peace, harmony, and righteousness among His creation. It is expressed in the commandments, which
summarize how humans are to love God and their neighbors ( Matthew 22:37-40 ).

The law of God in His Kingdom was never arbitrary but was born out of His love and desire for the best for His creation. This law is the standard for His judgment and is a guide for human behavior, as it points out sin and directs individuals toward salvation. Christ, in His earthly life, upheld this law, magnifying it and showing its full depth through His perfect obedience and teachings. His life exemplified the law's essence—love—and He called His followers to embody this love in their relationships and actions ( John 14:15; John 15:10 ).

Lucifer’s rebellion against God’s law began in heaven when he, a perfect being, allowed pride to take root in his heart. Despite being created in a high position, he desired to elevate himself above God and become like the Most High ( Isaiah 14:12-14; Ezekiel 28:17 ). This pride led him to challenge God’s authority and the loving, harmonious order established by God. His desire for power and control was rooted not in love but in selfishness and ambition, marking the origin of sin and the beginning of the cosmic conflict.

Lucifer’s fall resulted in a division within the heavenly host, with many angels following him, and ultimately, he became Satan, the adversary of God and His people ( Revelation 12:4, 7-9 ). His rebellion brought war to heaven, and when he was cast out, his opposition to God's law spread to earth, where he tempted Adam and Eve to distrust God's loving command and led them into sin (Genesis 3). This cosmic battle between good and evil continues on earth, with the central issue being the nature of God’s law and the challenge of His sovereignty, as well as His love being misunderstood and rejected by Satan and his followers. .... ~> ( For example; those "False Prophets",
( Revelation 16:13 ) here in this forum, who promote doctrines like Sunday worship instead of the biblical Sabbath )

And Yes ! ... Ellen White emphasizes that the great controversy is a struggle over the character of God. Satan seeks to distort God’s love, turning people away from His commandments, while Christ’s mission is to restore the understanding of God's law as an expression of His love and character .
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ~~ Blessing ! ~~ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

You must be kidding me. You SDA legalists sit in judgement on born again believers who know Christ, know God's word and who walk in the Spirit.

Your definition of sin is wrong. You should try studying the New Testament for a change. My Bible tells me:
"But the one who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that is not from faith is sin." Romans 14:23

You and your ilk do not need faith. You have your version of Christianity nicely packaged up in 10 laws. The law was put in charge of me to lead me to Christ. It's done its job. I'm born again and I have eternal life right now.
Knowing Christ and do what He says are 2 different things Gideon, faith is belief and to believe is to listen and do also. just ask yourself what was Christ teaching? Hint: _ _ N _ _ m m _ _ _ _ _ _ _ S do you know why he spent so much time teaching this and gave is the perfect example to be followed?

Romans 4:15 because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

1 John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

1John2:4 4 ;He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Why we have to be careful which character we are reflecting.

No law = no sin. The devil plainly sinned in heaven why he was cast out. Why do you think God's government has no laws. No government can uphold righteousness (right-doing) without laws. Why would God's government be any different. God never left it up to man to write His holy laws- He personally wrote them Exo31:18 they are in His heavenly temple Rev11:19 which the earthy temple was copied from Heb 9:23-24 Heb8:1-5.

We have had human experiments of lawlessness and we see the result of that hence Portland and Washington- why would you think God's heavenly government is in chaos.

Its why many people will not be happy in heaven John3:19-21, because there will be no more sin, because everyone will be keeping the law of God- no one will be breaking the Ten Commandments.

Isa 48:18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

The Scriptures state it plainly.
No, they do not. You claim that the Law written on the hearts is exclusively the Ten Commandments. Neither Jeremiah nor Paul limits the Law written on the hearts to the Ten Commandments.
Regarding Israel? Its the exact covenant prophesied in Heb8:10 to the exact people.
That's right. Both Jeremiah and Paul are talking about Israel. Not the Gentiles or the Gentile nations.

Don't make the mistake that I made for many years, thinking that the New Covenant was God writing his Law on hearts. Both Jesus and Paul disabuse us of that notion, stating that the New Covenant is the forgiveness of sins through the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

I said the Law that the blood of Jesus atones for is only the Ten Commandments- why only the Ten Commandments- God's Testimony Exo31:18 is under His mercy seat Exo25:21 and the earthy temple was a copy of what is in God's heavenly Temple Heeb9:23-24 Heb8:1-5 which we see His ark that holds the Ten Commandments at the last trumpet before Jesus comes for Judgement Rev11:18-19

You can prove from Scripture there was another Law that was under God's mercy seat, that His blood atones for, but you won;t find it in our Bibles.

The Sabbath started at Creation thus saith the LORD Exo20:11 before Israel, before Moses, before Jew.
Paul says that there was no law from Adam to Moses. Romans 5:12-14 Resting on the Seventh Day is a covenantal sign between Israel and God, given at Mt. Sinai.

You mean ignore the plain Scripture Heb8:10

You will not find one passage from Jesus who said we can break the Ten Commandments, He taught the opposite. Paul is misunderstood as we are told 2Peter3:16 and Paul is a professed servant of God Rom1:1 not God's corrector so no Scripture that he taught ever countermands God.

Paul says that there was no law from Adam to Moses. Romans 5:12-14 Resting on the Seventh Day is a covenantal sign between Israel and God, given at Mt. Sinai.
Lets look at this more carefully, because obviously that's not true

Gen 26:5 because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”

In Romans 5:13, Paul says:
“sin is not counted where there is no law”

But then immediately:
“yet death reigned from Adam to Moses…”

Where there is no law there is no sin

Rom 4:15because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

Did not Adam and Eve sin? They sure did, therefore there was the law of God. Did not God say it was sin for Cain to murder Abel, therefore there was God's law. The fact that people died between Adam and Moses for sin proves there was moral awareness of God's laws before it was codified at Mt Sinai. As shown in Exo 16:26-28 . the Sabbath was a commandment of God before it was codified

The bigger issue why let the servant override the Master- God said the Sabbath started at Creation - it is in God's written Testimony the Ten Commandments Exo20:11 and everything God did at Creation was made for mankind, including the Sabbath Mark2:27-28 made before Israel, before Jew, before Moses, before sin, just man and God.

Replacing the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Christ with commandments is not the desire of an actual believer.

I have been in this beehive of devil inspired mockery of God's love and grace too long and the spiritual implications of what is
really going on here, in this thread, is not something anyone here is going to be able to win against because you are not fighting flesh and blood.

There is nothing but a war of words being enacted here with the same things being said over and over.

That's it for me in this thread and all others started by the op. God is not mocked.

I'm sorry. I didn't see this mentioned. It is wrong, nevertheless. The atonement of Jesus is not about forgiveness; It's about reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19 Peace with God is relational, not legal, involving the heart.

First of all, the Mercy Seat is not now located in a Temple. Who knows where it is? Also, the glory of God (the Shekinah) no longer dwells there.

Not only this, but during the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the veil of the temple was torn in two, revealing the empty chair. By the time of Jesus, the Ark was gone. It had been missing since the Babylonian destruction of the First Temple.

So the Second Temple’s Holy of Holies was:
  • empty
  • silent
  • throne with no throne
  • a room waiting for a Presence that never returned in visible glory
The veil hid absence. When the veil was torn, emptiness was revealed.

You thinking that the Gospel is just forgiveness of sin is the issue.
I said the Law that the blood of Jesus atones for is only the Ten Commandments- why only the Ten Commandments
That is so untrue. Samuel shared that it was a sin not to pray for others.
Moses wrote it was a law to teach the Law.

Neither of these laws among many others are not even remotely connected to the the ten yet are a sin and need repented of and cleansed by the blood of Jesus.

The ark is not gone its in heaven

Rev 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

Because the earthy temple copied what was in heaven

Heb 9:23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

What the earthy temple was modeled after

Heb 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
4For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
5Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

I think you would benefit from reading the day of atonement and all it stood for.

The standard of Judgment is not based on mans feelings but the law of God regardless if one chooses to accept this or not Ecc12:13-14 why God personally wrote it out for us so we can't say we didn't know James 2:10-12 John12:46 Mat5:19-30 again why we see the ark of God's covenant that holds the Ten Commandments, the commandments of God Exo20:6 at the last trumpet Rev11:18-19 - removing a law doesn't remove the penalty, it just removes what He covers by His mercy Pro28:13NKJV Exo20:6NKJV
