BTW Peter had a vision from God that declared all animals for food clean. I could give you scrip reference, it's in the book of Acts. This was so he could fellowship with the gentiles who believed.
They did have a rule they couldn't eat food that was strangled though, or sacrificed to idols.

Would u eat a phall curry ?
No, I cannot handle spice..

So would you ever eat...pork crackling? or squid? (I'm thinking...no)
Was this question for Engblom?

Anyway, my answer: no not anymore, I once tried pork crackling and it was awful. Luckily I got my brother to eat the rest.
Squid, I don't think I would eat that either.

My question: would anyone eat alfalfa? Sprouted seeds I mean.

I am not going to debate this further, but I want to give one answer to that. That reading ignores the context in Acts of the Apostles 10, and it also overlooks a basic principle: Scripture interprets itself.

Peter explains the vision himself: God showed him not to call any person unclean (Acts 10:28). The issue is accepting Gentiles, not changing food laws.

If the vision were about food, Peter would have said so. Instead, both the immediate context (Acts 10) and his later explanation (Acts 11) apply it to people. Interpreting it as a change in diet goes beyond what the text itself states.

What
Ok.
Yea some religious people vilify other cultures that eat everything, otherwise they'd starve to death. Or carnivores pick on vegetarians and vegans and vice versa.

eg Hindu/Muslim/Buddhist divide. Beef/Pork/all meats and garlic

When was vegetarian, I was grossed out by meat in my conciousness (I'd been to an abattoir and it horrified my 13 year old self) but I got the biggest flak from meat eaters for refusing to eating it. I do remember feeling socially ostracised though.

But then I understand cultures that eat everything cos they have to..thanks poverty! But somewhere you might have to draw the line. cannibalism for example (Maori were notorious for this) as they'd hunted Moa to extinction.

There is a scripture pertaining to this regarding vegetarians/eating vegetables I remember Paul talking about this not wanting to offend someone who just ate veges. And now well..people have problems digesting wheat because of the whole refined white flour thing. Too much gluten and not enough bran?

Funnily enough scripture doesn't outright ban alcohol but that's another problem. Rotten sugar much?

I didn't mean to imply Jewish people now could eat everything and stop keeping kosher, its just gentiles are under no obligation to change unless they want to. And Jews weren't to snub them over what they ate. (or being uncircumcised as well)

Sorry for misinterpretation, I should have been more specific. But thanks for clarifying with the scripture.

Most likely yes..?
....confession time.. I have never eaten hummus 🙈🙊 I have been meaning to make it, buuut..
I hope you will have a really tasty hummus when you get to taste one. Some are better, some are worse. I have a few times made my own. 😋

Tofu, yes, if it is seasoned with something.

Would you eat liver cassarole?

I eat both humous and tofu.
I have never eaten horse meat and don't think I would
I don't think I've ever eaten liver casserole, and don't thinK I would

Would you ever eat an unidentified mushroom ?
Would you ever eat a rabbit?

i remember the horse meat scandal in 2013.products labeled as beef were found to contain undeclared horse meat leading to significant public outcry.back to the question no and no.would you eat snails?

About the clean/unclean thing: That was for a good reason. That reason no longer exists unless you don't have any idea how to cook food until it is done. We have thermometers these days. If you are still getting trichonosis from unclean meats, you need to learn how to cook. If you are still berating people for eating unclean meats, you need to learn how bacteria work in general, and specifically how heat kills them.

About banana/lemon curd sandwiches: Sounds delightful. With honey drizzle or without?

About tuna pizza: Depends what kind of pizza sauce you use. That could be great or terrible.

About horse meat: You may already have eaten it. Ever tried swedish meatballs? (And it was delicious! Don't deny it.)

So, the last question: Are snails meat? They look like a big gob of mucous. But there has to be SOMETHING in there that propels them across my car, leaving a shiny slime trail aaaaaaall the way across the hood. So yeah, I'd try them.

Would you select a Man vs Food episode at random and try whatever he is trying that day?

Shellfish are molluscs which are like snails.
I haven't eaten snails, but in France they would be smothered in garlic sauce, so possibly. When I went there I remember eating tiny mussels, and crepes. I wasn't game enough to try snails when there were other things to try. Also wine was like $2 a bottle. (No, I don't drink wine)

Would you eat ever steak tartare (raw minced steak) ? I once mistakenly ordered this in Paris and wanted to send it back to be cooked. My mum would cook a salad.

Never seen Man Vs Food, sounds like Who Dares Wins or Fear Factor (both defunct reality shows)

I did watch Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations though. I would try anything he tried, except raw seal, whale, and undercooked ashy unidentifiable meat that he had once somewhere near the Congo. I was a bit sad that he took his life, but he'd been hinting at being suicidal for years. :-(
At least he didn't die of food poisoning.

Oh no, I had swedish meatballs at Ikea! Did I eat horse? I even bought a frozen packet of them, haven't cooked them yet.

If you've eaten salami, you probably had donkey.
