I will ask again...." Is a person born blind was someone who at one time able to see?" " And He took the blind man by his hand, and led him out of the town; and when He had spit ON HIS EYES, and put His hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I SEE MEN...." Mark 8:23-4 The blind man HAD EYES that couldn't see, they were deadened to light. The Holy Spirit, at conversion, quickens our deadened spirits, " It is the Spirit that QUICKENETH; the FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING: the words that I speak unto you, they ARE SPIRIT, and the are life." John 6:63. In both instances, both Jesus and the Holy Spirit, worked with things (eyes and spirit) that were already in existence, so as to operate as they were created to. " Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every (human) spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every (human) spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now is already in the world." 1 John 4:3. This speaks of those who have received, by confession, Jesus as their Savior and those who have rejected, not confessed, Him, THEY BOTH HAVE SPIRITS, one of God, the other of antichrist. Remember, if we believe in our hearts and CONFESS Him with our mouth we shall be saved, if we don't, we won't. Rom 10:9-10. P.S. I NEVER deny truth, why you may ask, because "Thy Word is truth."
What difference does it make if you have a dead spirit?
Or, no human spirit?
What is the difference?
