It is very unfortunate that folks just don’t understand that Israel had been given two covenants in their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 29:1).

(Deuteronomy 1:1-5) shows Moses explaining the second covenant on the Plains of Moab forty years after the first covenant Israel received at Mount Horeb in the desert of Sinai. As you read through the book you will notice that Moses writes about “this law” when speaking of the Moab Covenant and writes “His Law” when speaking of the covenant from Sinai. There is much difference between the two and the latter is the covenant which Hebrews tells us was now obsolete.

The Sinai Covenant from Mount Horeb was never cancelled and folks should consider the implications instead of their outright rejections.

The blood covenant made at Sinai was broken by Israel, which meant they had to be separated into pieces like the covenant animal was and destroyed, because that is how blood covenants worked.

And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. Exodus 32:9-10

But Moses interceded and God spared them.

And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? Exodus 32:11
And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. Exodus 32:14

That is why another covenant at Moab had to be made; the Sinai covenant was no longer in force because one party broke it.

You don't understand the Mosaic law clearly and you do not understand New Testament or New Covenant Christianity nor do you acknowledge the work that Christ did on the cross that freed us from that law so spare us the heresy that was put down 2,000 years ago
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Why are other laws still holding us in obedience but not the 10 commandments? Are laws bad? Are we free from all laws, ? When you start to pick and choose which laws we are free from that is dangerous.
God never said to stop keeping the 10 commandments.

The 10 commandments contains 1 law that people refuse to keep so they throw out the whole law.

The cross does not free us from the 10 commandments. It frees the repent sinner from the death penalty but it does not make us free to continue in sin.

Repentance means to change your way of acting and thinking to turn from your sins. If the cross removed the law, why would we need to repent?

The law is not the problem, the law is not sin, the law is not what we need saving from.
SIN IS THE PROBLEM. Jesus did not solve the sin problem by removing the law.

We are free from sin by the blood of Jesus not by the removal of the law.

Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Rom 7:12-13
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

All God's commands are to bless us, not to burden us.

It is such a blessing to follow God's commandments.

"For through the law I died to the law so that I might live to God." Galatians 2:19. What laws apply to dead people?

But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code." Romans 7:6.

"All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.” The law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.” Galatians 3: 1-12

When you follow the law, you are not living by faith. That means that you are not pleasing God.

"Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian." Galatians 3:23-25

The law does not save us and neither does it make us righteous. "Whoever keeps the whole law, but stumbles at just one point, is guilty of breaking all of it." James 2:10

"But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law." Galatians 5:18

"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God." Romans 8:14

That's why.

Galatians chapter 3 is to Gentiles , and yes the law applies. Read it carefully.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV): "Pray without ceasing."
  • The Principle: Just as your lungs automatically breathe physical air to keep your body alive, a believer's spirit naturally turns to Jesus in thought, praise, and request throughout the day. It becomes your default spiritual setting lol This is my Rest in His Rest call it my sabbath! If you're just talking about it then you don't know what I'm talking about

Sorry I did not write the law your argument is with God . A sinner breaks the law Jew or Gentiles. How is a gentile exempt from the law ? Come on !
Read Romans 1 & 2 and Acts 15

Acts 15:9-21
It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not cause trouble for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals, and from blood. For Moses has been proclaimed in every city from ancient times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.

Romans 2:12
All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.

Sinners are judged by conscience or by the law. Gentiles are not subject to God's law. Do you not remember? It was "Hear O Israel". The Gentile nations were not subject to God's law.

More Rest in Him
  • Romans 8:26 (KJV): "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
  • The Principle: Even when you don’t know what to say, the Holy Spirit handles the communication from the inside out, making your connection to God seamless peace & behold the Sabbath this only from listening to jesus
  • John 15:7 (KJV): "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
  • The Principle: When you "abide" (stay closely connected), your desires align with His, and talking to Him becomes a natural extension of your life as God Rest

As an addition to my previous comment, those who are born again are dead to the law. No one takes a dead man to court.
Lol human court was not a good reply cus the person is legal artificial fiction is Dead That God Time stones use that person engraved in stone

Btw I know a guy that married a dead woman in Court look hard enough maybe find in new? It was like 29 years ago

Would you take a dead man to court? Believers are crucified with Christ. That means dead. And baptism means burial. The Bible tells us what that means: we died to the law of Moses. So God does not apply the law to us. Is that any clearer for you?

True true true.
We were dead in water baptism, but we are born again from water and spirit now.

The new life that we have now is the born again life, with blood of Jesus, we are delighted to follow our Father Jesus, as Jesus said, if you love me, obey my commandments.

Following the commandments is a joyful, natural character of our new born again life.

Apple comes from Apple tree. Good fruit comes from the good tree, our Lord Jesus.

well your not even Christian if you believe that. You have had many of us explain Christianity as it relates to the law. You too are in bondage to the law. that is your choice. But the law has faded and become obsolete. It denies the work of Christ on the cross. You cannot be christian and believe what you just expressed. It runs almost in direct opposition to Christian ethos.

All you have done with those verse reference is proven unequivocally that you do not know anything about the mosaic law or Christianity. You have no clue as to the context of the verses. If you did you would never have come to believe what you believe.

for me anyway the Lord Jesus Christ makes it plain and clear concerning the Sabbath days:
We see in (Matthew 12:10 + 12) Question v10: "is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath days? Answerv12: "it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days". Together with (Mark 2:27-28) "The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath" and "Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath".
It is evident that if there is any good will whatsoever that can be done on the Sabbath, that we are to perform the doing thereof.

I would just add to "It is evident that if there is any good will whatsoever that can be done on the Sabbath, that we are to perform the doing thereof": regardless of what day it is; whether the Sabbath day or not: For it it is in every day and at all times that to do good is present, and we are without excuse if we seek to excuse doing good.
