Everything, absolutely everything exists by the grace of God. Everything in heaven and earth belong to the father and the son, who was given all authority over it. we are but a speck of dust for God. (Isaiah 40:15)

so yes salvation and everything else is by the grace of God, our God who made us in His Image. but by grace alone NO, we have our part to play, a choice to be made, that is why Jesus said clearly, why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not to the things I say? (Luke 6:46)
If there are any conditions, it is not solely by grace. Another poster said salvation was purely by grace, but conditions also applied. My response was that if salvation is conditional, it wasn't solely grace. You disagree with the logic of my argument?

It is your ignorance of what Grace does that allows you to accept what you do.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may
rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

Grace enables the soul to overcome the flesh that it would be too weak to fight off.
It is with our soul (under grace's power) that chooses to believe.

Without grace? Our soul would remain a slave to rejecting God.

That means? No one can refuse. No one.
Do you know of case from scripture where someone was given a new Spirit and heart, and the indwelling Spirit who didn't walk in His statutes, and keep His judgments, and do them?

Read Ezekiel 36:26-27. What does it teach causes an individual to follow God?

How can someone refuse a new heart and spirit, and the indwelling Spirit? God gives these things sovereignly to those He saves. That's the new covenant promise...Ezekiel 36:26-27.

No one given these gifts hasn't been glad God was disposed to be merciful towards them.
why did Jesus say not many would make it? here ares some verses for you to exmine closely;

Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.(Matthew 7:13–14, ASV)

And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that are saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in by the narrow door: for many, I say unto you, shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able. (Luke 13:23–24, ASV)

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21, ASV)

Peter likewise wrote:

And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear? (1 Peter 4:18, ASV)

JJesus taught that the way to life is narrow, many follow the broad way that leads to destruction, and only a few find and remain on the path that leads to life.

It is by grace through faith. But it's not that it's really only 'through' faith but where it matters where your faith goes in, so it is exactly by grace through faith in Jesus.

Jesus was speaking to a 1st century Jewish audience. Only a remnant of them were saved. Heaven itself is populated by a number that no man can number from every nation, tribe, kindred, and tongue...Revelation 7:9.

You, as a Calvinist, completely negate that verse.

You twist the clear meaning of it.

It does not say “thou art already saved”, it says “thou shalt be saved”.

Romans 10

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Wrong, but I won't attribute it to your evil intent, just your biblical ignorance. The "shalt be saved" is in the future tense. That particular "shalt be" refers to being saved - escaping the wrath of God - in the distant future - on the last day - a rescue, not a present day one-time spiritual legal security shift that becoming saved brings during one's lifetime. In those verses, the "thou art already saved" (as you phrased it) had already occurred prior to that timeframe. It is the same as the below verse is saying. Notice in it, that they had already been justified which means they had become saved, but that they yet had to be "shall be saved from wrath through him". It was made perfectly clear in that verse.

[Rom 5:9 KJV] 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

So, with that in mind, it seems that you've completely misunderstood the intent of those verses, and you should therefore go back reread it and correct your misinterpretation in light of this new information.

It is by grace through faith. But it's not that it's really only 'through' faith but where it matters where your faith goes in, so it is exactly by grace through faith in Jesus.

That faith is Christ's faith not man's faith, otherwise, it couldn't be "not of yourselves" nor a "gift of God" which would make the verse a contradiction from within itself.

Now we're getting somewhere.

The original poster I responded to posted that salvation was purely by grace but was conditioned upon certain responses from the individual. My response was, in essence, that not solely grace.

Another poster said it wasn't solely by grace, but was conditional as well. They missed the point of my argument. I wasn't arguing whether salvation was grace alone or conditional; only that salvation cannot be purely grace and have conditions for the individual.

If your argument is that faith in Christ is a condition of salvation, I would agree. If you argue this condition must be met by the individual, I disagree with that. In order for faith to be a condition for salvation and salvation to be solely of grace, the source of faith must be God. And I believe this is the case.

I'm aware of that construal. Salvation that is a gift of God not of yourselves. It is by grace through faith (in Christ).

Christ's faith is certainly the purest example. He cannot deny Himself.

All Calvinists need to add words to scripture to make it conform to that evil man’s theology.

Instead of accepting the simple, clear meaning, they twist things around with “which means” and that is the sure sign of misinterpretation to suit an unbiblical ideology.

But looking at the cruel personality, pompous anttitude, and murderous behavior of John Calvin, one can understand how they got this aberrant.

My sapling lime tree requires a fan on it so that its stem is strengthened as it grows. Our faith wavers but grows through the testing. But His faith never wavers.
Our faith is to be the faith of Christ...Galatians 2:20.

Truth be told, most people aren't actually living by the faith of Christ. Most people haven't accessed the power in us that raised Christ from the dead. There aren't many teachers showing believers how to die to themselves and abide in Christ.

That's absurd. I can see by your attitude why you get so much of scripture wrong - it's easy for you to do when you click your brain off like that.

I'm certain God secures and nurtures that faith that He finds (and just as soon as He finds it), and won't ever let it fall to the ground, even as much as we might try to frustrate that endeavor. I'm sure we agree in that point. You can view it as He 'put it there' while I view it as my responding to His touch, even as early as while in the womb in some and maybe even in all cases. I've no doubt He is a proven hunter gatherer, and look for and will find all, everyone, that are His, from the first to the last.
