It took Donald Trump hitting Iran with real military force — and the credible threat of more — to accomplish what decades of American diplomacy could not.
The United States and Iran have agreed to stop attacking each other and resume formal talks this week, according to Bloomberg and Axios reporting from June 28. The breakthrough came after Iran violated an earlier ceasefire by launching missile and drone strikes on U.S. bases in Kuwait and Bahrain — and Trump responded by escalating, not retreating. The sequence matters: Iran attacked, Trump hit back harder, and within days the Islamic Republic agreed to halt hostilities and negotiate. That’s 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 — not a slogan, but a strategy that actually delivered.
Compare that to the Biden years. Biden spent four years lifting sanctions, restoring waivers, and handing Iran billions in unfrozen assets — all while pleading for a nuclear deal that never came. Tehran interpreted every concession as weakness and kept building centrifuges. Trump took office, struck Iranian military targets in a single night, and forced them to blink.

The fraud was always there. The question was whether anyone would look. Here’s why that matters. A SNAP card isn’t just food stamps. Once someone gets into the system, “𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯” — the card becomes a master key to MassHealth, HUD housing vouchers, and federal benefit programs across the board. The USDA specifically needed the data to verify whether recipients are 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 and to check whether those same individuals are simultaneously drawing benefits in multiple states. The four states didn’t just decline — they went to court to make sure the check never happens.
The investigation began in December. A federal court blocked her. So now it’s a lawsuit. The federal government is suing to see the rolls of a program it fully funds.

Elon Musk is calling out one of the most outrageous federal spending decisions in recent memory. On June 28, Israeli forces demolished a massive H∗zbollah underground complex in Majdal Zoun, southern Lebanon — just meters from the Israeli border — and what they found inside tells the full story of what Iran has been building on Israel's doorstep.

It was a fully operational war factory designed to survive airstrikes and launch attacks directly into Israel.
The operation required the IDF's 𝟓𝟓𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 to physically enter and clear the complex before demolishing it — airstrikes alone couldn't reach it. Iran built this. H∗zbollah hid it under a civilian village. The IDF found it, cleared it, and destroyed it piece by piece. This is what dismantling the infrastructure of terror looks like — not a statement or a resolution, a controlled demolition of a war factory buried 25 meters underground.
