cute little CDS comment like TDS. don't ignore the text and The Person of Christ who is speaking. I careless about John Calvin. He is not authrotative.
I also could care less about Calvin. I am interested in ideas and the explanation of their belief. I didn't bring Calvin into the conversation. I've been discussing grace and its definition and the ramifications of that. If you would like to continue that discussion, hit me up.

There are none good but God alone. Jesus said so.

allhavesinned.png

“Why do you call Me good?” Jesus replied. “No one is good except God alone. Mark ch. 10 verse 18 and Luke ch. 18 verse 19 “There is only One who is good.” Matthew ch. 19 verse 17b. There is no one who does good. fr Psalm ch. 14. There is no one righteous, not even one. Romans ch. 3 verse 10. They are corrupt; their ways are vile. There is no one who does good. All have turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. fr Psalm ch. 53 verses 1-3. Surely there is no righteous man on earth who does good and never sins. Ecclesiastes ch. 7 verse 20. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
why do you state the obvious? to get more likes?

I'm reading this... and wow. This is dangerous. It's definitely not grace alone, although God's attitude of grace is a big part.

You forgot Christ.

No Christ, no salvation, even with grace. God could desire to graciously save. And even if we pretended Calvinism was real and God forced people to believe.. still no salvation. We need Christ to die for our sins... so that our faith has value being recieved. The value being received is the finished work of Christ on the cross.
too many people forget Christ, they know he exists but.....who do they really follow?

You are so out of touch. Yes Christ died for them while they were lost in their sins. It's Bible

Romans 5:8

8But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Then you dont believe Jesus death saves, thats unbelief. So what saves a person if Christ doesn't save them from their sins ?

That's what I hear when I read this same childish from you again and again

You know, I don't think you have the answer to your question or you would not keep repeating it

Someone tell him cause I'm bored at this point

enough rinse and repeat and picture story book time

've seen this before... Calvinist tactics to distort the other view and pretend the other has it. This one has been played on me and makes everyone else just shake their head
Lol aint no tatic, you just dont believe Jesus death saved nobody, You believe more than likely His death made salvation possible.

You will sin after you are saved.
You did not know that?

He saves us from our sins after we are saved, in this way.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us
our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
When He died for the sins of the World upon the Cross?
He removed the barrier between man and God, allowing man to approach God and to enter into His presence!
That happens only after one is saved.
