John 14 v 17a, Romans 8 v 6-9 ~ “Inability” in Bible. The world cannot receive the Spirit of truth. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Praise be to God for calling me out of the world.
It's not His death. It's His resurrection....death could not hold Him. You don't believe Jesus saves. You sadly believe Calvin, who is dead and rotting in the ground, saves.
Behold. He doth stinketh.
So then you think God is the author of evil in the world?
He is first cause, but not its author. Men and angels are responsible for their thoughts, words, and actions.
God has saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. Jesus Christ is the author and perfecter of my faith, which was not by my will, effort or desire.
What Calvinism had done with Irresistible Grace, is the same kind of 'hocus-pocus' that
the Catholic Church did when it wanted to explain with how Jesus could be born sinless.
What did they come up with?
"Immaculate Conception"...
Which many now know is nonsense.
But, at the time it was introduced?
It was the quick fix used to immediately satisfy the simple minds of the illiterate peasants in that church.
Such is also why we find the teaching of Irresistible Grace.
A was a quick fix for a question that could not be explained at that time in history.
Which was due to the lack of better Bible teaching that just would not exist until later,
when better Bible understanding had developed.
What we get today with Calvinists (and those who think like them) is a form of 'team pride'.
It's an 'us against them' mentality. This conflict rages because of natural human instinct which has not been
dealt with by facing objectively Truth, and taking up one's own cross to die to that instinct to bond with others.
That is what God is really dealing with when such conflicts in teachings arise.
It is shoved into the arena to fight in hopes of breaking down walls that divide the Body of Christ.
Jesus said in Matthew 16:24-25...
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself
and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but
whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
We must lose our life?
Must forget about what we used to love when younger when following teachings that just seemed right at the time.
Seemed right because of our lack of discernment that would only develop after growth produced by God in grace and knowledge.
But? Some don't want to give up the sense of security they had once experienced in knowing better than the others.
But are now being shown it is wrong.
That enemy that must die on our own cross?

2 Timothy 1 verse 9~ He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began. Ephesians 1 verses 4-5~ He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will. Ephesians 1 verse 11~ In Him we were also chosen as God’s own, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything by the counsel of His will.
Thats your excuse for unbelief and failing to match the truths of tulip with the teachings of Christ Himself, you would call Christ a calvinist and reject His sayings as you currently do.

Philippians 1 verse 29a + Romans 8 verse 17b ~ For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him. Indeed, we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.
Okay so you deny His death saves, everyone sees it. How were these saved according to their testimony Rev 5:9-10
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Their evil ways were their "works". They had been saved by God and that salvation was manifested by them ceasing from their works: they ceased outwardly from their works for salvation, because inwardly, they had been given new hearts by God: they were moved by Him to cease from the works of their hands. Because of that, God repented and did not destroy them physically neither would He destroy them spiritually. They were used by God in Scripture to be a picture of salvation
Tulip is heresy and corrupts the gospel by blaspheming God’s goodness, but it must be allowed on CC in order for Christians to have the opportunity of learning how to refute it via harmonizing Scripture.
Ecclesiastes 7 verse 14 When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Lamentations 3 verses 37-38 Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it? Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come? Job 14 verse 5 A person's days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed. Jeremiah 10 verse 23 Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps. Psalm 33 verses 10-11 The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.
I also try to be kind and gentle when disagreeing by discussing doctrine and citing Scripture instead of lobbing insults.
