Not a sheep? That would explain a lot. I suppose those who agreed with you are not sheep, either.

John10-27-28es.png

John 10 verses 27-28 My sheep hear My voice, I know them and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.
:)

All that is the result of grace. It does accompany salvation; it doesn't result in salvation.

Do you believe salvation is by grace?

What exactly does that grace do?

Grace is God's supernatural power that He supplies to human beings who are incapable and unable to perform a needed action which God requires of him and approves of.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may
rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

Grace is not simply the "niceness of God" towards us. Many think it is.

In Christ...

Christians are still commonly referred to as "sheep" in a spiritual and Biblical context. This imagery is foundational in
Christian teachings, representing a believer's utter dependence on God/Jesus, Who is known as the "Good Shepherd."

That happens to be the True God ! Since Tulip Truths are the Gospel of Gods Grace.
Look... for all we know?
You may just simply be a person who has a natural ability to retain data that is shown to him.
Like, in the movie Rain Man.

So? In that case?
Since you keep revealing you can only repeat what you were told, and have no ability to reason outside of the limited information you have chosen to memorize?

It is useless to try to reason with you.

I am sure you will retort with you are right and there is no need to reason.

So?

Good bye!

It is either... Ignore, or Snore with you.

bye!

What exactly does that grace do?
Saves you Eph 2:5

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
Justifies Rom3:24

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Just can't deal with Paul, eh? ok then

Let's check out what was going on with Ezekiel back in the days before Christ when Israel could not, for the life of them, keep it together.

Ergo, what was really going on back then. It's not difficult. Ezekiel 36:26-27.

It does not matter what chapter in Ezekiel a person wishes to discuss, Gentiles in the 21st C or any Gentile in any C, are not the recipient of Ezekiels prophetic words.

God addresses Ezekiel from the top of the chariot throne and calls him as a prophet ( cahpters 1-3). The purpose of that? Ezekiel was to ACCUSE Israel (since they had forsaken God and were not filled with the Holy Spirit as we are today) of BREAKING their covenant agreement with their God. Israel has gone awhoring (Bible type expression) after other gods and worshipping
them which has led to terrible social injustices and violence.

God was warning Israel of the Babylonias attacking them, twice, with the 2nd time to the utter destruction of the temple and city being laid waste. You can continue to read of how Ezekiel went about warning Israel and what effect it had. That's a very brief synopsis but let's get right to your chosen chapter and verses.

By the time we get to that chapter, Israel has been taken captive by the Babylonians and God, ever mindful of His love for and promises to Israel, promises restoration through a new 'David' but as a Messianic king. God states He will remove Israel's hard hearts and send His Spirit into His people so that they will love and obey their God, the One with whom they had entered into
covenant.

Ezekiel 38-39 God states He will ultimately defeat evil among the nations. Chapters 40-48, describe how God's presence will one day return to His people and the temple will be rebuilt. Scholars are devided as to whether or not these things are literal or symbolic.

But one thing we can be sure of. God was addressing Israel through Ezekiel and not Amercians or Norwegians. This tends to be the 'proof' of Calvinists and those who prefer to believe that way but do not wish to be called by that moniker, say therein is the proof that God alone is responsible for salvation and gets you 'saved' so that you will understand the gospel...the op belives Calvinsim is the gospel meaning, I suppose, that we have no choice in salvation since God has us earmarked and there is nothing we can do about it and thus we have the birth of limited atonement.

This may create a warm feeling in the hearts of good Calvinists everywhere but Ezekiel was God's prophet to Israel.

And finally, Jesus addresses the work of transformation through the new covenant when He spoke of being born again in John 3. Paul, addresses it in II Corinthians as per scripture.

b. A new heart and put a new spirit: Jesus referred to this great work of spiritual transformation through the new covenant when He spoke of being born again in John 3. Paul spoke of it when he wrote of believers being new creations in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

The position in which to enjoy spiritual renewal, is to be IN Christ. We receive the Holy Spirit....we are born into God's family and God accepts BECAUSE of the sacrifice of Jesus.

The idea of limited atonement is not biblical. The only way salvation is limited, is in the rejection of God's grace through Jesus.

I cannot possibly deal with the meaning of Jesus blood being shed as pertains to the sacrifical systme of the OT, or the history of Israel or the fact prophecy on their behalf is still to be fullfilled, in this or any other thread. The BDF is not a teaching platform even though many think it is and what I wrote above, is a very tight, very succint explanation of a topic that people, who really want to understand, spend long hours studying.

It is not, never has been and never will be, an explanation of God putting His Spirit into UNREPENTANT, UNSAVED AND SINFUL individuals so that they will accept the gospel. The problem with people who think the entire OT was written for their benefit is that they do not comprehend the fact that Israel is still God's chosen people, no other nation has ever been in a covenant relationship with God and that includes this one.
Paul wrote Ephesians 2:8. So, obviously I have no problem with Paul. It seems you do. Paul says we are saved by grace. Grace is the exercise of God's power in/on/through an individual. You seem to want to add to grace.

My statement is no bearing on the concept of original sin... even original sin does not stipulate that all mankind is born unable to respond positively to the Good New of Christ Jesus.

Original sin is a doctrine Augustine developed whereby all mankind not only died in Adam but also all mankind bears his guilt.
We have no shortage of people who have no issue being in Christ and getting eternal life, Him being our life. But when it comes to being in Adam and being dead in sins, we have a problem.

Why do you accept the substitionary atonement of Christ, being in Him equating to life but reject being in Adam equating to death? Did you choose to be born? How can you choose to be born again?

Grace saves...for by grace are we saved through faith. Regardless of how one believes salvation is accomplished, that it is accomplished by grace means that salvation is accomplished by what God does, and not by what the individual does in response to what God does.

Until individuals understand this, trying explain the outworking of salvation proves futile.

If you want to have a real impact, you might want to direct your efforts to those who insist we are saved by grace but add to it.

John 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

Sad admission John had, I hope he misspoke.

So Gentiles are not partakers of the New Covenant which is in Christ Blood ? Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament/covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Why do Gentile believers participate in New Covenant Lords supper 1 Cor 11:24-26

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Those blessings in Ezk 36:26-27 are New Covenant Blessings through the Blood of Christ !

She is a Pelagian heretic. She is also some kind of Darwinian new ager, believing people
have somehow evolved, and no longer need God in the process of coming to believe.

Many of her beliefs in this regard contradict and deny clear Biblical teachings.

Please quote me where I denied this statement >>> 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

Isaiah42-16s.png

Isaiah 42 v 16 ~ I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on unfamiliar paths. I will turn darkness into light before them and rough places into level ground. These things I will do for them, and I will not forsake them.

TULIP is the anti-gospel.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are the gospel.

Absolutely, all their posts are different attempts to shut down the Good News!

Oh right they have to protect God's sovereign unconditional selection cause where would they be without that doctrine, probably too scary a thought for them to contemplate.

Romans 8 v 6-7 The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
