Jesus' words in John 6 v 45b and John 6 v 39b
:)

Romans8-6-7s.png

Romans 8 v 6-7 The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
I don't agree with your Calvinism but your pictures with the scriptures are beautiful :)

I don't agree with you calling me a Calvinist. I am a Bible believing born again Christian.

Calvin had zero to do with what I believe. People with CDS cannot believe that though.

They also lie about Calvin. Repeatedly. But they love their logical fallacies.

They haven't much else.

I always see Calvinism as the equivalent of "the devil made me do it" excuse. No responsibility for anyone's actions
Romans9-19-21s.png

Romans 9 v 19-21 One of you will say to me, “Then why does God still find fault? For who can resist His will?” But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, “Why did You make me like this?” Does not the potter have the right to make from the same lump of clay one vessel for special occasions and another for common use?

Sorry, I thought that's what you classed yourself as, my mistake
Thanks for the apology. And the for the compliment on my Scripture panels.
I spent years designing them but more recently have turned to writing praise
and worship. I have about maybe ninety videos but some are based on old poetry.

John 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

Sad admission John had, I hope he misspoke.

That parable is the judgment of nations as sheep nations or goat nations, not about individuals that is why most likely why @John146

answered the way he did, which is very reasonable.

Please quote me where I denied this statement >>> 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
You said this which led me to believe you did not believe in original sin
Original sin is a doctrine Augustine developed whereby all mankind not only died in Adam but also all mankind bears his guilt.

Salvation by grace doesn't mitigate responsibility. All mankind is responsible before God by virtue of creation.
Definitely. I think it is a mystery. GOD'S big plan vs our responsibility, both valid. Like Jesus 100 percent God and 100 percent man.
We are limited being, I accept many things I still don't understand.
Just as quantum physics, the wave particle duality, the observer effect. It is real, but no human explanations.

But if mankind has no free will and can not choose, how can anyone be responsible for their actions, are their actions not predestined ?
I appreciate the question, and it is a discussion worth having. It can't really be had here with any degree of success. But regardless of what one believes about choice, nature, and a variety of other aspects concerning man's behavior, man is responsible for his actions before God. The soul that sins shall surely die. I can assure you that man didn't subject himself to this truth. God subjected man before Him. He has this right by virtue of creation.

There is also this, though some will claim it does not apply. God does not change.

Romans 11 v 32 God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on all.

Paul wrote Ephesians 2:8. So, obviously I have no problem with Paul. It seems you do. Paul says we are saved by grace. Grace is the exercise of God's power in/on/through an individual. You seem to want to add to grace.

Right. I have problems with Paul and that is why I quoted him. Don't believe you are able to tell anyone here what God's grace is.

The only way you can change most people's understanding, is to twist what Paul states.

You seem to want to play games and misquote the Bible.

No one here thinks I have a problem with Paul. That's just you trying to deflect. You have a problem with not understanding OT prophecy. Jesus speaks on behalf of Himself but you think Ezekiel is prophysing to Calvinists. You can't make that kind of nonsense up but yet you have managed to do so.

No, I do not seem to want to add to grace. You seem to want to ignore it altogether and make God into a capricious being who goes innie meenie moe to decide who is saved and who He is going to throw into hell. The Bible says nothing whatsoever about that belief and everything about how we receive salvation through Christ. Of course the Holy Spirit plays a part as one thing He does is to convict of sin. BUT God does not put His Spirit into unconverted sinners. That is a fabrication.

I'm done with your false words today. I'll see how you post tomorrow if I care to continue an obviously constructed false scenerio to pretend I said things I never said.

...through faith.

I took some time to write post 1819 and he just skips over it even though it deals with his supposed 2 questions.

He seems to think everyone is ignorant of scripture that he chooses to use like a magician, changing the meaning and presenting it as 'gospel truth' when it is not even the gospel, but rather prophecy for Israel. Does our heart change when we accept Christ? of course it does!

BUT God does not wave a want and presto we are now able to understand the gospel. Ignorance is not bliss after all.

I was simply employing your logic. If I quote Paul and have a problem with him, I naturally thought you quoting Paul meant the same thing.

Since you believe I have twisted the word of God, please share how. My argument is that salvation is by grace. I have posited that grace is the exercise of God's power in/on/through an individual. My conclusion is that salvation is accomplished by the activity of God as He exercises His power on behalf of an individual. What's twisted?

But if mankind has no free will and can not choose, how can anyone be responsible for their actions, are their actions not predestined ?

That would make God the author of sin and people innocent of sin. Of course we have the ability to choose. Calvinists will tell you we do not and Calvinists by any other name will say the same. He answered you as follows:

I appreciate the question, and it is a discussion worth having. It can't really be had here with any degree of success. But regardless of what one believes about choice, nature, and a variety of other aspects concerning man's behavior, man is responsible for his actions before God. The soul that sins shall surely die. He CAN'T answer that discussion without crossing the line and presenting limited atonement, total depravity etc so now that question cannot be answered his way because, as has been happening, those who put their faith in Jesus will contest the error of the reply.

The means God employs doesn't alter the fact that salvation is by grace.

The way Paul lays it out means they are all important "through faith" being the condition God sets as required to receive the gift.

I know you tactics focus on one to the exclusion of the other, you see those of us who to correct soteriology do not have to use these tactics.

Ephesians 2: 8 being the concise statement on the the plan of salvation, it is very clear, the Gift is salvation.

That's what I thought. Disingenuous and not able to convince even yourself of what you say.
