A question for the ladies: What makes a man attractive?

According to JRR, they are the first race to appear and are called the Firstborn. They are tall with pale skin and have hair of many colors-black, brown, blond, red, and silver. Idk if this has any correlation to whether they are 'wood-elves' or 'water-elves'. Anyway, they are (near-) immortal and live the entire existence of (the world); but they can be killed in battle or by grief. Aragorn was a half-elf, and he had wavy hair.
Santa's elves appear to be a blend of the Norse alfar, German kobolds, and Scottish brownies who worked for the "right jolly old elf."

I'm not going to research which one of those have curly hair...
Ok, well... My granddaughter has long spiral curly hair, and those with curly hair within those groups primarily come from those that mixed with the Gaelic people.

Yea Aragorn didn't look elvish or elfin at all. But I don't hold that against him. They are all attractive in their own way.

I wasn't a fan of the orcs though. However I know underneath all the rubber and fake wigs and all that, was an actual human being. I don't think Peter Jackson would have employed real orcs in his movies.

No matter what they say, they generally go for the alphas. Even married alphas. A nice vehicle, good dresser, and a pocket full of cash helps. One lady told me she looks at the way he pays the restaurant bill, with a credit card or cash. If cash, he is a no-go. A high credit score says a lot about a man but that sort of thing isn't even on their radar, generally. My daughter is in finance, so these things are on hers.

Employment history. Generally, a good catch reputation, and as for the ones who reject. No revenge like success.

Ok but you just contradicted yourself there, by saying 'a pocket full of cash helps'. Shouldn't it be a 'pocket full of credit cards'??

If you want to employ someone as your husband, those are the things you may look for, but he may not be so easy to train in other areas. After all you are going to be CEO of the household, and you want a good worker.

Every woman is attracted to something they like right? I think all women are different in this regard.

For me yes it begins with Jesus loving and God fearing. That is a given here for most women on this site.

He is attracted to me as I am attracted to him.

Next for me it's political standing as I need to feel safe talking about it and do not want to choose a man just to argue with him about politics....one less argument. Check

Not a bar fly or alcoholic. Not physically or emotionally abusive. Can ask for help...that one is hard for men and I have been learning how to support in that regard.

Humbe, honest, kind, courageous, tough, stoic, calm, more on the quite side, collaborative at home and in our life together, would love if he had a good belly laugh....

He is more of a homebody and not a travel fanatic as I do not like to travel much. I enjoy simple pleasures so he would be same so we can be happy there.

Tend to gravitate towards those raised in Midwest where my Mom is from and raised me that way. People often think I am from there.

He is a good leader. I am smart so he has to be smarter in order to lead me.

Finally he has blue or gray eyes (like me), full trimmed beard, not skinny like me, over 5'10 because I am 5'8. I know those are looks things and I should not be that way although I have tried to ignore them and have not been successful in that regard.

Every lady has different things I would say. Many women say my taste in men is strange in the looks department so they love to have me as the wing girl because pretty boys are not what I can date it would be like forcing me to like food I don't like to eat so that is not fair for either of us.

I also prefer a widower as I am a widow. That one right there proves we like certain things at certain times or our lives based in our experiences.

Also, at different ages our preferences also change in my experience. For example....I never cared for beards when I was younger until I realized how fast a shaven face gets scratchy on my face and quit painful!!! LOL. I learned to love beards after that as they now make me feel safe for good reason!

I think it is good we all like different qualities in a man so there is someone for everyone! Although it often takes time to find our mates and sometimes it never happens since we are all so unique it can be hard to find that perfect unique puzzle piece that fits.

Right place right time?

Women - Pray the Lord gives us discernment to be where he wants us in order to see and meet those man mate(s) in which each woman was made for.

Men - Pray the Lord gives you discernment to be where he wants you to be in order to see and meet that woman mate(s) that the Lord made just for you!!

I pluralized mate in case some of you are a widow or widower/divorcee.

Finally as others have said in different words: Staying single for the Lord is very Honorable in order to focus on serving him and his will.

They'd have different watches, the men, omegas and the ladies, probably have the apple watches.

Two are better than one right? If they were both the same, not sure how that would work. You can sync watches, but it's probably good to have them a bit different. In case the batteries run out in one.
 
I'm fascinated with arranged marriages that appear to work. I mean, Isaac and Rebekah. She never met Isaac till the day she was married or saw him as she had a veil on. Abrahams servant came and found her, took her away from her own family, and offered jewellery and riches. I suppose if he hadn't bribed her she wouldn't have gone. But maybe she was ready to leave her own family and wanted a different and more prosperous life.

And to be a mother of twins who hated each other...
 
Actually they probably did meet prior, as they were first cousins. Ok, then she had an idea of what he looked like. I take that back.
But her twins looked completely different from each other, so...?

Which side had the red hair?
 
Speaking as a woman, looks might catch my attention at first, but they’re not what really makes a man attractive to me.

You said you don’t think you’re attractive. I don’t know what you look like, but honestly, attraction (at least for me) goes way deeper than appearance. Things like kindness, humility, emotional maturity, honesty, faithfulness and a genuine walk with Christ matter a lot more. A guy who treats people well, listens and keeps his word stands out way more than just someone who’s good looking.

And yeah, a warm smile and a good sense of humor definitely help too.

Looks fade over time anyway, but character and how someone treats others tends to stick with you.

Faithful
Patient
and can control himself.

I wish a man like that was easy to find. How can I tell what kind of man he is just based on appearance??
