Jesus when incarnated did not stop being God.
He experienced a fully human life, while also manifesting His divinity.
He expressed His God nature by walking on the water, feeding the 5,000, calming the storm, turning water into wine, casting out evil spirits, healing the sick, restoring sight to the blind, raising the dead, and forgiving sins.
All power Jesus walked in did not come from His own Deity.
It came from the Holy Spirit.
And it came to pass on one of those days, that he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, who were come out of every village of Galilee and Judaea and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was with him to heal." Luke 5:17
It would not have to say, "and the power of the Lord was with him to heal" if he were
functioning as God.
He would be the power to heal in that case!
The Holy Spirit supplied the needed power.
Read carefully please, and look it up in as many translations as needed to see that he walked as a man in power.
If he was functioning as God?
The following passage could not have been written!
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses,
but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin." Hebrews 4:15
Remember?
God can not be tempted! (James 1:13)
Yet? Jesus was tempted like we are... in every way!
How was that possible?
Because he denied himself to be as God in manifested power. He chose to, and was being as a man in power!
Who {Christ}, though He eternally existed in the essence of God,
did not consider being equal with God something to be seized and held,
but emptied himself
by taking the form of a slave,
by becoming in the likeness of people.
And being found in appearance like a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to the point of death,
that is, death on a cross." Philippians 2:6-8
Therefore...
When He was tempted?
As a man he was walking in the Spirit, and he was developing thinking needed for a man to overcome every temptation a man can face.
That is why it says that He is the author and finisher of our faith!
grace and peace .............
Adam was not God.
Angels are not God.
