Paul is speaking of gentiles, not Jews! What do you think, the legalistic levitical laws are written in gentiles hearts but the moral law is left out?
paul is speaking to the churches leaders that is what the epistles were for it was written to the churches. so they can teach the gentiles, this is what we have for Paul;s writings epistles, theses we specific letters and had a specific purpose.

Paul's epistles were pastoral letters written to specific churches and individuals, usually to solve specific problems. Many of those churches contained Gentile believers because Paul had a special ministry among the Gentiles, but his letters were not originally written as universal rule books detached from their historical context. They addressed real issues faced by particular congregations, while Jesus' own teachings were given as the foundation that His disciples were to teach to all nations.

(Indeed, when Gentiles,(Gentiles) who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.)

It is interesting, that people who want an external law, believe they nigh on faultlessly obey it.

If we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us 1John1:8

You are testifying to perfectly obeying the letter of all applicable law, faultlessly
No one would do that, who understood what that entailed
never said such a thing: ""You are testifying to perfectly obeying the letter of all applicable law, faultlesslyi "am far from perfect why do you argue and say contrary to what i replied to you already ? you are looking to argue I wont play that game sorry.

what did jeremiah say about the law, within the new covenant ? read Jer 31:31-33.

all I have explained to you went to waste, scripture is not good enough for you? the words of Christ is not enough for you?

Mat 19:16 And behold, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why askest thou me concerning that which is good? One there is who is good: but if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.

Mat 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Mat 19:19 Honor thy father and thy mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Do or Dont', the choice is before you. (Deuteronomy 11:26-28) Do you deny what Jesus clearly said?

This is the new covenant:
The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:

16 “This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.”

17 Then he adds:

“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.”
And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. Heb10:15-18
Right Not the NT, the Book.
If we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us 1John1:8
that is not a truthful understanding

Most do not want to hear they have or can have total victory over sin.

Jeremiah said exactly what I have quoted from Hebrews, the law would be an internal law, written in the mind and placed on the heart of believers.
Matt19 Which covenant was in place at the time?
And when the young man asked the question, why did Jesus not respond with John3:16?
Under the new covenant, you would not need to tell people which law to follow, for the law is within you

never said such a thing: ""You are testifying to perfectly obeying the letter of all applicable law, faultlesslyi "am far from perfect why do you argue and say contrary to what i replied to you already ? you are looking to argue I wont play that game sorry.
You wrote, and I quote:

More than that, the people following Christ's examples and teachings, abiding in him cannot even sin if they would try, sin is no longer part of their lives nor do they even think of it,

Most do not want to hear they have or can have total victory over sin.
I wonder if you are holding the law to the pristene level it is set at bearing in mind your comment, or rather a watered down version of it, which does not exist in the bible

Matt19 is interesting, the young man thought he had obeyed the commandments since his youth. However, he did not obey the greatest commandment of all as it turns out.
Good I think for many to reflect on

please answer the question in post 7025 a few post above, the last line of that post, do not ignore it.

I have already addressed it
I always wonder, why so many just want to stick with Jesus teaching rather than stress Paul's
By Jesus own admisssion, what he taught could be understoood without the indwelling Holy Spirit, what Paul taught could not be. For he had the indwelling Holy Spirit, and wrote to people who had also received it
Paul taught how to live a holy life, but many do not understand his message
And please do not ignore my last post to you, here is what you wrote again:

'''More than that, the people following Christ's examples and teachings, abiding in him cannot even sin if they would try, sin is no longer part of their lives nor do they even think of it,'''

How do you reconcile the following:
''never said such a thing: ""You are testifying to perfectly obeying the letter of all applicable law, faultlesslyi "am far from perfect why do you argue and say contrary to what i replied to you already ?'''

With this:

'''More than that, the people following Christ's examples and teachings, abiding in him cannot even sin if they would try, sin is no longer part of their lives nor do they even think of it,'''

So your answer is you don't believe Christ when he said to keep the commandments to enter eternal life, as I quoted scripture saying so in post 7025, fine then your choice is made we dont have anyhting to discuss.

Christ lived under the old covenant, did you not know that?
They had an external law they were to look to and obey, and that would be their righteousness(Deut6:25)
Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness for everyone who believeth Rom10:4
However, when the young man asked the question, why did Jesus not respond with John3:16?
Because he knew him, before he asked the question.
How about a message preached to those who had the indwelling Holy Spirit?
If you know you have no righteousness of not committing sin, sin shall no longer be your master

However, many prefer to concentrate on a message that could be understood without the indwelling Holy Spirit
