I am not Arminian, so that point is moot.
You ARE Arminian!!

No matter what you say, or how many times you protest and say you aren’t Arminian, we say you are, because of the positions you hold.

See how that works?
Several of us have said we don’t consider ourselves Calvinist, although we agree with some of its tenets. Yet you, and others try to continuously say we are. That’s called hypocrisy lady.

It seems to me that Calvinism is far closer on most doctrines, than Arminianism ever is.

All men by nature hate God and are at enmity against Him. Paul describes the gentile world here Rom 1:29-31

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

So dont think you are by nature any better than anybody else, if you do, its pride and self righteousness. We all like that before saved. Yet inspite of all this, God chose to love only some who are like this.

You either did not see or else ignored my correction, which was that I misspoke.
What I should have said is that God loves tulipists but hates their sin of demeaning His love and justness.

Choosing to love/elect only some sinners is called showing favoritism and being unjust, which contradicts those two aspects of the Gospel and is thus heretical. Do you treat your children that way?

You call folk calvinist dont you ?
Arminianism (Jacobus Arminius) was not the opposite of Calvinism as a Calvinist will portray it today. The fact is that they both are just two different forms of Calvinism. Like the protestant reformation was mainly a squabble between Catholics, the debate between Calvin and Arminius was a squabble between Calvinist.

The Synod of Dort, in which the 5 points of Calvinism was summerised, was a debate between Arminian Calvinism and Bezan Calvinism, (as in Theodore Beza), held in the Netherlands between 1618 and 1619. By this time both Calvin and Arminus were both dead.

The first recorded use of the 5 point TULIP acronym comes from a book written in 1932 called, "The Reformed Doctrine of Predestination" by Loraine Boettner.

Yes. I saw your ridiculous post the first time. Repeating it doesn’t give it any validity.

If they don't repent of the sin of misrepresenting God's Word then they will remain reprobate.
These people are like the Pharisees Jesus was talking to when He told them they were of their Father the devil.

The reason Jesus did not cast the devil out of these folks is because they are committed to serving the devil thinking they are in the right, so they love their devils and refuse to turn away from them.

Jesus cannot cast devils out of people who love their devils because He is the One Who gave them free will in the first place so they have the legal right before God to reject the Lord and choose to serve the devil instead.

And so Jesus let them have the devil because that's what they wanted.

This is why it's rare to hear of a calvinist being delivered from calvinism since they love doctrines of devils and the author of doctrines of devils which is satan. They think the devil they are following is the Lord View attachment 291640

Yes, tulipists are natural men who willingly serve Satan by reversing truth, perverting the Gospel and projecting their hatred onto God.

This is why I try to get everyone to couch the debate on CC as between tulipists and MFWers.

Arminianism like Calvinism believes in the total depravity of man, inherited sin. Both believe the sinner has to have some sort of Prevenient grace (or preceding grace or enabling grace), which means the grace of God precedes and prepares a person for conversion or salvation. Calvinist teach that it is irresistable, whereas Arminians teach there is an aspect of free will involved.

I don’t care how many council of dorks you study. We all know what is meant by the difference between Calvinism and Arminianism.

To accept a free gift by your free will is not works based salvation like a Calvinist will say.

If a relative, in a will, left to you a sum of money, and you had sign some paper work to recieve it, that would be you appropriating or taking possession of it, you did not work to earn the gift of money. We can not earn salvation, but God does require us to do something to recieve it.

Which is why we have verses such as Luke 13:3 that tell us we must repent.

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Luke 13:3

It is fitting that you should be schooled since you told me in previous post that you are 6 years old lol
You Arminians have a flower to represent you just like the Calvinists. The Calvinists is the TULIP.

You guys have the DAISY.

You pick the petals and say “ today God loves me, tomorrow He loves me not “

An example of our own appropriation is in Romans 10:

"the word of faith, which we preach;" you "confess with thy mouth" "believe in thine heart", "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness" the righteousness is a result of believing with the heart, "and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

I see, that really does make a lot of sense, John Calvin contradicted himself a fair amount.
