Satan knows a way to try to wear out genuinely growing believers.

:devilish: ...."Send in the retards!"

You can only laugh when you see what is going on.
Spiritual retards are real and exist.

Just leave it be!
;)

Yes I am there, mark and avoid, much pretense to lure and capture but when challenged by the reality of what they preach they reveal who they really are.
How dare you call yourself a scum! lol

In Rom. 9:25, the prophecy of Hosea is mentioned where it says, "I will call them my people who were not my people". Now, NT was written centuries ago, and we are born centuries later. According to your argument, we are not God's people because when God declared that statement, we weren't born.
Thats another argument, you cant understand the current one. You now jumping around playing tag

No disrespect but can you find anyone in church history before Augustine who preached particular atonement ?
Don't matter to me if they did or not. Particular Atonement ism biblical, Jesus and the Apostles preached it. So if you dont preach it, you failed to preach the Christ Honoring Gospel of Gods Grace.

Oh I see. I figured you would say that since the answer is: Nobody preached it. Which means there is a 400+ year gap in preaching the Gospel. Quite a thing! But hey it was predestined that way for God's glory right?

God uses certain means to accomplish His purposes. He never revealed why, or whom, or when, or by what means He would save or leave a sinner dead in their sin.

Your attempt to get into the mind of God is an afront to Him. Many of His Prophets, Angels and Saints desired to look into these things, but God never revealed it to them.

Ephesians 1:4-5: "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will."
Romans 9:11: "Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God’s purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls.

Romans 9:15: "For he says to Moses, 'I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.'
Romans 9:18: "Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden."

Proverbs 16:4: "The Lord works out everything to its proper end—even the wicked for a day of disaster."

John 6:37: "All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away."

John 15:16: "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last...
Your attempt to condemn me is an affront to me. Seems to be a pattern with those in the cult of calvin.

Your priorities are men centered. not scripture centered.

Ok all you anti-calvin heretics. This will be all thats needed to see the brainwashing tecnique.

They'll probably say they dont count lol
We won't

You believe that the Bible teaches calvinism, WE DONT. We dont believe Paul or Isaiah taught it.

Lets open up Isaiah:

"Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it."

Now put the TULIP calvinist grid on that and these verses have no meaning whatsoever. Cant learn to do well if they are unregenerated, can't seek judgment unless God regenerates, and on and on. Cannot reason together unless God opens the mind. Cannot be willing and obedient unless God causes it. Can rebel though, that part fits the T in tulip but even that doesnt make a lick of sense since they CANNOT do otherwise

Those verses are to people under a works covenant that none of those written to had agreed to. Yet they still found themselves subject to it by of being born into the nation Israel.

Seems as if God unilaterally placed them into relationship with Him.

As I said: TULIP turns those verses meaningless. Re-read the post. Can't refute it. You have taken a dozen proof texts, bought in the TULIP system and then use that as a grid to re-interpret the hundreds if not thousands "turn to me" "repent" "come to me to have life" verses. And after all that, those verses have now been reduced to a mystery where God is just playing games with people, telling them to do stuff He has no intention of giving them the heart to do, a divine pharaoh who is somehow glorified in all this and showing his holiness by commanding people to turn when in reality, He does not want em to, and if He did, He could just regenerate Him, ball is in God's c0urt

In Acts 2:37, those who responded heard and were pricked in the heart. Faith was produced by hearing. And hearing was produced by the word of God. The pricking of the heart was the circumcision without hands. What do you think would be the response of someone who experienced that? We know from verse 37. They want to know what the proper response is to such an experience. And Peter tells them: repent and be baptized.

God is not playing games. Neither is He at work everywhere in every moment. Jesus was amongst great crowds of people but didn't address every need of every individual. But He did stop for some. Why? Because He always did what He saw the Father doing. What did He see the Father doing?

Three thousand were saved the day of Pentecost. Do you believe only 3,000 heard Peter?

Perhaps 12,431 heard Peter, but God only loved 3,000 and ensured the rest were damned forever per tulip.

Some could have been saved later.

What did Jesus see the Father doing that made Him respond to some but not others?

Your objection completely fails because you are confusing external, civic obedience under the Mosaic Covenant with spiritual regeneration and eternal salvation.

When you look at the actual context of Isaiah 1, the Calvinist grid fits perfectly, while the Arminian grid falls apart. Here is why:
  1. "The Good of the Land" is Not Heaven: Look closely at Isaiah 1:19: "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." God is not offering them eternal salvation or a ticket to heaven here. He is speaking to the visible, national nation of Israel under the earthly Mosaic Covenant. He is telling them that if they clean up their outward, civic behavior (relieving the oppressed, pleading for the widow), they will enjoy physical prosperity in the land of Canaan instead of being destroyed by the invading Assyrian sword (v. 20).

  2. Natural Men Can Perform Outward Actions: You claim that under Total Depravity (the "T" in TULIP), unregenerate men cannot do these things. That is a total misunderstanding of Calvinism. Total Depravity does not mean men are as bad as they could possibly be, nor does it mean they lack the natural ability to perform outward, civil good. An unregenerate man is fully capable of physically feeding a widow, refraining from murder, or choosing not to rebel against a government. God is commanding outward, national reformation here, not a spiritual new birth.

  3. The Mirror of the Law: Isaiah 1 acts exactly like the Law always does—it commands a standard to show people their failure. The very next verses show that Israel did refuse and rebel (v. 21-23). They could not keep the law perfectly because their hearts were corrupt. This is why later in the same book, Isaiah abandons all hope in human "willingness" and points entirely to sovereign grace: "I am found of them that sought me not" (Isaiah 65:1).
You accuse Calvinists of ruining the meaning of Isaiah 1, but by turning a passage about physical food and the earthly land of Canaan into a checklist for eternal salvation, you are teaching that man can buy his way into heaven by his own works and obedience. That is a rejection of the Gospel.

If unsaved men can do all these good works, they cannot be “totally depraved”. They must be only partially depraved.
