Mullin emphasized that these are young girls, not adults, subjected to repeated assaults day after day.
Federal agencies, including ICE, FBI, and HHS, located the children through wellness checks, home visits, and other efforts, a sharp rise from 22,000 found last summer.
Mullin blamed the Biden administration for "true neglect at best and criminal at worst," saying weak border enforcement and poor sponsor vetting enriched human traffickers working with Mexican cartels.
Mullin talked about "super sponsors" as the main driver of the s*x trafficking.
The DOJ announced indictments of three illegal migrants from Guatemala in Ohio for smuggling-related schemes as part of Joint Task Force Alpha.
