Right now, I am most of the way done, but also at what I consider the hard part. Numerous PhD's, in multiple fields including NT and Biblical Theology among others, would likely tell you that they are amazed that I consider what I have already written to be the easy part as they believe I have put things together better than anyone else they have ever read or even heard of. Just because I change a few assumptions and incorporate details that are often ignored.

And I asked about Green Acres and Petticoat Junction because n some story lines there were connections between Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres and even Hogan's Heroes. The connections were not commonly referred to, but did pop up on occasion with a simple passing comment about one or another of the different shows.
Sound great, what is your thesis then or topic for the book you are working on?

oh yeah that is the only reason why I know about petticoat junction and green acres because of the cross overs XD. originally it was because I missed cousin pearl when she left the show. I loved it though.

Any shows you like watching instead then or books you would recommend. I am always looking for recommendations.

Well for my writing the main thesis is that the Romans won the 1st Jewish War and destroyed the Jerusalem temple, and after that the Christians and Jews both decided it was well past time to make nice with the Romans, and so both made changes in their theologies and official histories. Josephus has recently been clearly shown to have "adjusted" some historical events. I suspect that similar actions were taken on the Christian side based on "clearly irrelevant" historical records and numismatics, among other sources.

My problem comes from having formulated a "proof of God" based on fairly recent Consciousness Studies, and no I am trying to present arguments against it and why they fail, while staying consistent with the theology I propose was original to the early church, that is pre-early 70's CE before the church tried to hide (very successfully in at least one case, not so much in another as persecution continued) some things from the Romans.

As for television, I like a lot of the shows from the 60's and 70's, but they can be hard to find consistently. But I also find "Shakespeare and Hathaway" (BBC) to be a fun detective-comedy.

I look forward to when you get publish to see all the references for your work :) Sounds like a fun read and investigation.

I haven't watched a lot of 60s and 70s shows to be honest. I haven't hear of Shakespeare and Hathaway but i do like the BBC channel for the most part so I will have to check it out.

It took some searching, but I found a link where you can watch it for free. Hopefully, it will work in Canada:

It is a rather long movie. If you decide to watch it, then you will not understand it until the very end. For me, the ending was very impactful. I won't say anything more than that because I don't want to ruin it for you in case you do decide to watch it.

"The Robe" and "Ben Hur" both have to do with Jesus Christ, and they are both very long movies.

You can watch "The Robe" for free here, if the link works in Canada:

You can watch "Ben Hur" for free here, if the link works in Canada:

I'm going to see if I can find where I can watch "Dragonwyck." I never heard of that movie before. Thanks for the recommendation.
Okay so I finally got to watch Citizen Kane and yeah you were right, there is no way of knowing what is going on until the end.

I knew that the movie was dual timelines and tried to pay attention to that and the mystery behind his last words. But honestly in a way this entire movie made me think of Ecclesiastes. Especially the above shot of all of Kane's things in the end in one big room and pretty much just burned or forgotten or sold off, that was the saddest part to me.

It was all for nothing - like the rich fool as well!

LUKE 12:16-21
16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

At the end I think it was sad that all he wanted was his innocence and the freedom to not be someone who needs constant control, who doesnt' have to care about what is best as a rich man who needs to keep power and influence.

But honestly ... a part of me thinks that this is a desire that he has in vein. Like he was a slave to ... well it isn't' just money it was definitely more than that. But he was a salve that knew he was a slave and would have never actually gone back to 'rosebud'. It's more than just a sled, it would have been a new beginning that would have required him to drop everything.

But the biggest thing that I can't get out of my head that correlates to today's world is his mother. There are so many broken children today because the mother has chosen to be the head of the household instead of a helper (Ezer) because they think it is a weak position to be in when it is 100% not. The Holy Spirit is a helper and he is superior in all things - beign a helper is an honor.

But anyway getting off track. when Kane's mother had power, fighting against her husband to ship her child away and basically abandon him to a world where he is forced to have a love for money. It is like you already knew he was doomed.

The line when his wife says "well you know what mothers are like" and he paused before saying "yes" (╥﹏╥) (╥﹏╥) (╥﹏╥) ***could not stop crying***

But anyway, would love to know your thoughts of the movie.

Yep. I can definitely see a correlation between Kane's life and some of the warnings or admonitions found in the book of Ecclesiastes. It was sad. What boggles my mind is that those in Hollywood have voted this movie the #1 movie of all time themselves, and yet they all seem to have either missed its message or totally disregarded it.

Exactly. His youthful innocence and love of the simple things in life, like riding his sled, was not only stolen from him, but it was stolen by his own parents. Their desire for his "success" in a worldly sense ultimately led to his ruin. For me, that is a grave warning for all us where our own priorities and desires are concerned. We all came into the world empty-handed, and that is how we are going to leave it as well. Only that which is done for Christ will last.

I don't know about that. You can learn a lot about somebody from their last words on earth. In his case, it seems like all that he truly desired was to get his youthful innocence back, having fully experienced a life a disappointment and even hopelessness in the vain pursuit of money, prestige, and power.

I agree, but I have to choose my words carefully so as to not get stoned to death. I work in sales, and I encounter hundreds of people every day that I work, and that includes a lot of couples, whether married or just dating. When you see that many people on a regular basis and you are also constantly working in different areas of the country, you simply cannot help but to notice certain things. Without being too specific, there is definitely a problem in the world in regard to women dominating their husbands or boyfriends. Not the only problem, but a problem. It is so bad, from what I have seen, that I told one of my co-workers recently that I could not only make a fortune, but also do the world some good, if I was selling testosterone. In other words, men today seem to have no balls. I am sorry to have to use that type of language, but I didn't know how to say it more politely. This does not mean that I believe that men ought to dominate women or anything even remotely close to that. However, it does mean that I believe God has called men to lead, but certainly not by force. And you are right. Being a helper or being submissive is an honor, and not just in relation to a marital relationship. We should all be living our lives in submission to God and his word, and that affects a lot of different types of relationships.

I don't recall that line. I only saw the movie once, and it was several years ago. I should probably re-watch it myself.
But anyway, would love to know your thoughts of the movie.
I think that I just gave them, shortly before getting stoned to death. It was nice knowing you. 🤣

Yes I think as of now, although i would have to check I think it is still in the top hundreds list of best movies of all times. And yes it is wild that it is forgotten, but to some degree, I think they dont' bother considering the message and they just praise the techniques that were used and adopted over time.

On an off note, I am excited though because there are a lot more indie movies coming out now since hollywood is just no good. I was excited to see the 2022 silent black and white film hundreds of beavers but apparently it has some sexual innuendos that may be too much so idk about that anymore XD

We all came into the world empty-handed, and that is how we are going to leave it as well. Only that which is done for Christ will last.
I would love a movie based around that. Seeing a rich man going thorugh all life has to offer and still realizing that the only things that will last is what we have done for God. Honestly I could see that as a nice play too, especially if the end is very sad when he realizes he has done nothing, and maybe has to do the one thing that counts - giving himself to the Lord.
I don't know about that. You can learn a lot about somebody from their last words on earth. In his case, it seems like all that he truly desired was to get his youthful innocence back, having fully experienced a life a disappointment and even hopelessness in the vain pursuit of money, prestige, and power.
Yeah that is true, for me I often see people die with regret or guilty of the sin of waiting until tomorrow.
I see that he has been in pain a long time, he had so much time to accept what he knew was true deep down, and didn't until his last breath. On one hand it can be a moment of deep reflection like you said, on the other hand it can also be cowardice, waitiing until the last moment. I can see it both ways , like the man who said he wanted to follow the Lord and said he has followed all the commands, but when Christ said leave all your riches behind and follow me, that is when he walked away from the Lord.

I agree, but I have to choose my words carefully
I agree with everything you are saying, I don't think any stones will fling your way.
A lot of couples that want a good life have a weird dynamic of power that just doesn't work. and liek you said it isn't the only problem but it is a big problem.
I miss the days when men were encouraged to be men, now it seems like they are being attacked and women are just angry pushing maternal instincts on things that are wicked because they are influence to be the men of their own lives not have children omgosh there is so much but that is a rabbit hole fro sure.
I don't recall that line. I only saw the movie once, and it was several years ago. I should probably re-watch it myself.
yes yes yes, XD

I am not certain that it has been a fun investigation, but it has been a long one. It took me 40 years to begin to realize what I was looking for. And I still get surprised, although likely not as surprised as some people will be when I point out something in Isaiah that was likely viewed as a prophesy by Christians and Jews pre-early 70's CE but almost certainly rapidly dropped by 74 CE and denied as ever having been important. But to my mind, it likely contributed to the expectations of victory by the Jews in the 1st Jewish war.

Ephesians 5:23
New International Version
23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

1 Timothy 6:7
New International Version
7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.

2 Timothy 3:1-5
New International Version
3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Genesis 12:1-3
New International Version
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
2 “I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”

I am a total nerd for bible studying and notes, especially more creative/niche ones since i like doing bible studies for my stories so they are biblical and heavy in faith content.

I am also canadian but don't have a lot of canadian chrsitian friends, so it is a bit sad and discouraging at times if you know what is going on here, so it would be nice to get to know some more canadians.

I would love to chat on discord too for just company while playing games tbh or chatting about books ...

okay i think that is it.
I don't have an official denomination either, i guess closest would be Baptist, but honestly my priority is to read God's word and to follow it, his word is highest authority, even above my own preferences and i will not be bending on that.

And I go to church regularly, fun fact i started taking the navigation course so i am memorizing scriptures now which is super fun.

Most of my songs are not in that visual format, either, but it was my second song of the day and
I did not feel like working more on it. However, since it was already in the SHORTs' format, I made
a short of it and Youtube told me they are recommending it to others, so it has gotten quite a bit of
attention for a new channel run by a nobody. I keep meaning to let @HealthAndHappiness know this...

:)
I subbed Magenta. I used to make these kind of songs using one of the AI music sites.
