Now goes to the Senate, meaning far from a done deal.
The Senate will want to pass the deal to fund the military. We already have 50 votes for the Save America act, so this gives one or two more a valid reason to vote for it.

Boots on the ground and a total domination of the air and sea is what it takes.

For how long are we going to play war?

Until there is congressional approval and at least 500,000 troops being sent to the docks to head to Iran along with a rotation of carrier groups with all the logistics it's all just for show but most just don't understand that. That's just how it works, either send all to stuff to wage real war or put on a show for the followers to celebrate one of the two.

Not true as Teddy Roosevelt JR the eldest of TR served in both WW1 and WW2. There are other examples as well. Which other than the times we did have to impmement a draft, our military has been by far made up on the majority of volunteers. So it not a case of sending your sons but did your sons want to serve.

Which I volunteered for a combat MOS and a vet of two different wars in the sandbox. However, I was sent because I chose the profession that said l will be the violence of my country. So those that are sent maybe other than a few who may have been tricked most of us signed up for the job and with fidelity we have honored our duty and word.

Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for his friends.....hooah

Well let's draft all the apostates and traitors and send them to the front first. It's the most logical thing to do, they're the deadweights dragging us down anyways and helping the clear enemy to give them aid and comfort.

And others like GHW Bush an J. McCain were both volunteers too, among others. It's just a shame to be stuck with the likes of the Biden's and Trump's of the population when faced with times like these.

Yeah, I don 't think Bill Clinton volunteered to serve, or Barack Huesan Obama volunteered to serve. So there's that.

Clinton went into ROTC in college so it put him way up in the draft(number never came up) but Obama was only 12 when the draft ended. It's sort of hard to accuse anyone at 12 of avoiding the draft but I get your meaning. When it comes to choosing a Commander and Chief that is over our military we should look long and hard at them regardless of the political party involved.
