Oh the movie and dinner thing will be too expensive once you buy a house and get married. Have you seen the ticket prices to go see a movie now? Unbelievable.

You could spend all that money on a huge tv screen and put it in your expensive house which you surely need to buy for your wife plus dining table and silverware.

No I have not been to the movies since The Conjuring 4 came out. well I did go with a group trip with Waypoint, but my ticket was free at that point. I think they are about $15.00 each now at least here in Canada, don't know about New Zealand.

Well that is why couples do wedding registries, so guests have an idea of what kind of gifts to buy.
Chances are someone may buy the linen and silverware for the couple as a wedding gift but leave the couple to get their own tv, why does it have to be a huge tv screen? wants wrong with a 20 or 30 inch screen?

It is, but if you find someone you like, and enjoy spending time with, it is well worth the investment to get to know them and establish a friendship. If you can establish your equally yolked in the first 3 meetings, marry them and then date them, relationship would probably last longer anyway if you take a genuine interest in your wife and commit to taking her out for dinner and movie every now and then after your married.

In the past people who started businesses had a sense of ethics, they realized their business rose and fell with their customers satisfaction and what the local community thought about them. now as we live in the corporate age, it's all about the money, making as much as possible, so now they raise prices, if people are willing to pay it, charge it, etc....
It is truly sad to see what the 21st century of humanity has become.

That is your first mistake, you don't become a Christian to get married, you become a Christian to follow Christ. Marriage has nothing to do with proving yourself as a christian, it is one of the blessings God bestows upon you, and Marriage is only a requirement for becoming a pastor. You can be single, be a christian and serve Christ.

Yea they would have more customers if the prices were reasonable. Like I don't know, $5-$8 a ticket, $10 if it was 3D
I would charge maybe just $3 for a tub of popcorn. $1 for frozen coke. $ 2.50 for a choc bomb.

And I would have couches that could fit 3 adults or 4 children, and let those under 3 in free sitting on their mum/dad's laps, and let the mum's breastfeed while watching the movie.

So there would be lots of couches in the movie with some spaces in between, and cushions. I would also have an interval/intermission like they used to have, so people could stretch their legs and go for a bathroom break if they needed to without missing the movie, and if they didn't like the movie, they could just leave in the interval and go see different one for half price.

And if the movie was a premiere movie, I would roll out a red carpet and instead of stars posing it would be ticket holders audience children could dress up (and adults) and pose on the red carpet if they wanted, and take selfies with the movie cut out backdrop, and I would publish them in a movie magazine and give out prizes for best dressed, most wacky, or most true to life star impersonator.

Also at least once a month, there would be a birthday party for those born in that month, with cake, and people could come in their pyjamas, and there would be a room where children could have a (friendly ) pillow fight.

You might have found the requirement clause in 1 Tim, which was Paul's letter or instruction to Timothy. If that were a requirement, was Timothy himself married? Did he meet that requirement?

Actually Alcatraza is open to the public as a tourist attraction..... Now you don't have to commit an offence to go to prison lol
