You dont represent the God of scripture.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
Romans 5:8 But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Timothy 1:15 This is a trustworthy saying, worthy of full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst.

Ezekiel 18:23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Lord GOD. Wouldn’t I prefer that he turn from his ways and live?

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.

1 Timothy 2: 3 & 4…This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

I've never found anything in the bible to support the idea that God sets any conditions for salvation. The bible reveals that election is entirely unconditional, resting solely on God's sovereign grace and good pleasure.

God chose the elect before the creation of the world based on His own counsel and will, not because of anything good or any action foreseen in them. While faith and repentance are strictly necessary for a person to experience salvation, God does not elect someone because He foresees their faith. Rather, God's sovereign election causes the elect to receive the gift of faith.

From our human perspective, it may appear that Gods elect are are obeying the gospel and meeting "these conditions". But the bible indicates that obedience and good works are the outward signs, that the Holy Spirit is working to transform us inwardly.
What does it mean that God saves according to foreknowledge? (Romans 8:29). It seems to me to obvious that God knows who will accept and who will reject the gospel. It's not a stretch to believe that predestination is based on that foreknowledge

Dumping a list of verses containing the words 'world,' 'all,' and 'everyone' does not rescue your system from its fatal theological flaw. Your version of the atonement presents a defeated savior whose blood was shed in vain for millions of people who are right now burning in hell. You are forced to argue that a legal ransom can be paid, yet the captive is never released. That is a direct assault on the power and efficacy of the cross.

Your usage of John 3:16, Hebrews 2:9, and Romans 5:8 completely ignores how the New Testament uses universal language. If 'everyone' and 'world' mean every individual head-for-head without exception, then your theology logically demands universalism. If Christ truly acted as a legal substitute and 'tasted death for everyone' without exception, then the sins of every individual are fully paid for. God cannot justly demand a second payment in hell if Christ already paid the debt at Calvary.

The text itself refutes your definition. Look at the context of Hebrews 2:9. In the very next verse, the 'everyone' Christ died for are explicitly defined as 'many sons' brought to glory (v. 10) and His 'brethren' (v. 11). Jesus did not die for the reprobate; He died to secure the absolute salvation of His sheep out of every tribe, tongue, and nation without ethnic distinction.

You cite Ezekiel 18:23 to claim God's desires are thwarted by man. You are confusing God's preceptive will with His decretive will. God takes no emotional pleasure in the death of the wicked in the abstract; it contradicts His moral nature. However, according to His sovereign decree, He absolutely wills to judge the wicked to manifest His absolute justice. Romans 9:22 explicitly asks: 'What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction?' Your theology turns God's will into a helpless wish that is constantly defeated by the creature.

Finally, you completely stripped 2 Peter 3:9 and 1 Timothy 2:4 of their immediate grammar. In 2 Peter 3:9, the text states God is 'longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish.' The words 'any' and 'all' are restricted by the phrase 'us-ward.' Peter explicitly addresses his letters to the 'elect' (1 Peter 1:2). God delays the final judgment because He refuses to let a single one of His elect sheep perish. In 1 Timothy 2:4, Paul defines 'all men' in verses 1–2 as 'kings, and all that are in authority.' It means all classes and ranks of men, Jew and Gentile alike.

If God absolutely willed the salvation of every individual human being, everyone would be saved, because Psalm 115:3 declares: 'Our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.' Christ did not die to create a fragile possibility of salvation for people who end up in hell; He died to successfully, legally, and eternally secure the unshakeable salvation of His elect seed.

It is based on foreknowledge, but the foreknowledge isn't what God foreknows but whom He foreknows.

It's not a stretch to believe that predestination is based on that foreknowledge God tells us,and this isn't for you because you do not read my posts now, I'm replying to this so people aren't misled by your ideas, people are not able to choose not to accept the Gospel.

They are naturally, human ,worldly nature, unable to understand the things of God. It is foolishness to them.

Only if God's Spirit enters in,by his grace choice of those he Elected, predestined before the foundation of the world, are peoples inability to understand the things of God altered by his Spirit, so to understand.

This isn't written to Gideon. Because he is the example of what scripture talks about in regard to the things pertaining to Salvation being construed as foolishness.

This is written to readers who seek to know what scripture actually teaches. And those who God called, understand. Those whom he shall call may remember having read this when that time comes.

The Bible refers to the Elect of God. Those God chooses.
Jesus tells us,no one can come to him unless God leads them. Calls them because he elected to save them.

That and more is the foundation and bones of the Gospel.

Doctrine that puts stock in the flesh, and gives man dominion over his destiny, condemn the Gospel as written from Old to New testament.

Some label anything outside the
material flesh dominion teachings as, Calvinism.

As if a singular word dismisses everything Jesus lived and died to accomplish. That effort is centuries old. Because the flesh is a powerful prison.

Folks like Gideon are free will worshippers. Flesh and mind chooses God. Despite God telling us this is not possible.

This isn't Calvinism. Calvinism encompasses,
synopsizes, the Gospel of Christ.

Any teaching that says you freely choose to follow Jesus all on your own,or not,is Satanic. Meaning, the adversary of the Gospel of Christ.

You're already fallen in the flesh. Don't fall for that lie too.

Here is a historical summary of how these five points, in Calvinism known as TULIP, were formulated.
They are detailed in Scripture and the Gospel long before TULIP came to exist.

*Again, my information was input to AI so to formulate this post*

Historical Background: The Synod of Dort

These five points were not randomly invented; they were formulated as a direct response to a theological challenge.
In 1610, a group of Dutch theologians called the Remonstrants (followers of Jacobus Arminius) issued a document called the Remonstrance, which contained five theological points contesting prevailing church views. They argued that human free will cooperates with God's grace, election is based on foreseen faith, and christians can potentially lose their salvation.
In response, the Reformed Church convened a national council called the Synod of Dort (1618–1619). The council systematically answered each of the five Remonstrant claims. These responses became known as the Canons of Dort. Over time, the five specific counter-arguments were organized into the English acronym TULIP to help people remember the logical chain of how God saves believers.

The Logical Chain of Grace: Understanding the Five Points (with Scripture)
This is also known as The Golden Chain of Salvation.
The following is a breakdown of the Gospel narrative as modeled by the five points of grace (often remembered by the TULIP acronym).

Rather than looking at them as isolated theological ideas, it helps to see them as a single, unbreakable chain that moves from human helplessness to God's final victory.

Here is how the points logically connect, along with the foundational scriptures often used to support them: Keep in mind, this is found in the Bible and this, predates Calvin.

1. The Problem: Human Helplessness (Total Depravity)

It starts with our complete spiritual brokenness. Because of the fall, human beings are entirely incapable of saving themselves, changing their own hearts, or choosing God on their own. Because our hearts are spiritually dead, the next step depends entirely on God.

  • Ephesians 2:1 – "And you were dead in the trespasses and sins."
  • Romans 3:11 – "No one understands; no one seeks for God."

2. The Plan: Sovereign Choice (Unconditional Election)

God solves our helplessness in eternity past by choosing to rescue a people for Himself. This choice is based purely on His mercy and grace, not because of any goodness or faith He foresaw in us. This choice must happen first because a dead heart cannot choose Him.

  • Ephesians 1:4 – "Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world."
  • Romans 9:16 – "So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy."

3. The Provision: A Definite Ransom (Limited Atonement)

Jesus came to earth to perfectly accomplish the rescue planned by the Father. His sacrifice on the cross was a definite, specific payment that actually secured the salvation of His people. His sacrifice guarantees the exact rescue planned in the previous step.

  • John 10:11 – "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
  • Acts 20:28 – "Care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood."

4. The Application: The Living Call (Irresistible Grace)

At the right time, the Holy Spirit brings this rescue directly to the believer's heart. Because our hearts are naturally dead and resistant (Point 1), the Holy Spirit works powerfully to regenerate us, giving us a new heart that willingly and joyfully places faith in Christ.

  • John 6:44 – "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him."
  • John 6:37 – "All that the Father gives me will come to me."

5. The Guarantee: Kept to the End (Perseverance of the Saints)

Because God planned, bought, and applied this rescue by His own power, He ensures it lasts forever. True believers will face trials and stumbles, but God preserves them so they will never ultimately fall away or lose their salvation. The chain cannot break because it relies on God from start to finish.

  • John 10:28 – "I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."
  • Philippians 1:6 – "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion."
Historical Context:
As a quick history note, these points were originally formulated at the Synod of Dort (1618–1619).

They weren't created as a standalone summary of all theology, but were written as five specific responses to the Remonstrance, which is what Gideon and others defend. Remonstrance is a document that argued human free will must cooperate with God's grace for Salvation.

Jesus is the perfect image of God (1Cor. 11:7, 2Cor. 4:4, Col. 1:15), so restoration consists of becoming more like Christ morally via the sanctification process indicated in Eph. 4:11-15, 5:1-2, Col. 2:6-7, Phil. 2:5&12-15.

Yes, unrepentant sinners remain corrupted/sinful, but they reap what they sow/the just consequence sin rather than God arbitrarily casting them into hell (Rom. 2:5-13). God's hatred for Esau expresses this justice: God hates sins, which grieves Him (Eph. 4:30, Isa. 63:10, Matt. 23:37, Ezek. 33:11).

It is blasphemy to contradict the clear teaching of God that He does NOT show favoritism!
(Rom. 2:11, Eph. 6:9, Col. 3:25, 1Pet. 1:17). Better let the Holy Spirit teach yourself, J-man.
That's not true, because God does show unconditional, sovereign favour—known as election or predestination—to some people and not others. The Bible confirms this in the following passages.

Romans 9:11-13 States God chose Jacob over Esau before they were born or did any good or bad, quoting "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated". You can't get around the fact that God did show favour towards Jacob. So your view that God doesn't show favour to anyone is nonsense.

Romans 9:15-16 Quotes God telling Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy," concluding salvation depends on God's mercy, not human will.

Ephesians 1:4-5 Says God "chose us in him before the foundation of the world" to be holy, predestining us to adoption through His will.

Faith is not a human trait that causes God to choose someone; rather, faith is a gift and a result of God's prior choice to save them. In Adam, all human beings are fallen, corrupt, and equally deserving of eternal judgment. No one is righteous or morally superior.

When God gives mercy to the elect, it is unearned. When God leaves the non-elect in their sin, He gives them the justice they chose and deserve. Because election excludes any human merit or effort, salvation is entirely by grace alone, meaning the saved have no grounds for pride.

According to Calvinism, man has no accountability and no free will.

So the “non-elect” cannot choose. They did not choose to inherit the sin of Adam. They did not choose to continue to rebel against God, for they are dead in sins. They did not choose to go to hell. They were predestined.

Calvinism is a miserable philosophy.

God does not show favoritism.

Deuteronomy 10:17

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe.

Romans 2:11

For God shows no partiality.

Acts 10:34

So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality,

Ephesians 6:9

Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him.

2 Chronicles 19:7

Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes.

Let me put it this way. Someone might ask, "How does Jesus save sinners?" Another person might ask, "How does Jesus save ME?" I try to be careful to remember that the Gospel isn't some abstract idea, it's personal and relevant to our lives.
Whilst we all have our unique personal testimonies, every single believer experiences the same logical chain applied by God: unconditional election, the inward call, regeneration, faith and repentance (conversion), justification, adoption, sanctification, and glorification.

We all experience the same monergistic work of grace. God sovereignly chooses (elects) only some people to receive this saving grace, leaving others in their natural rebellion.

Old Testament believers looked to promises and sacrificial types, while New Testament believers look to the historical reality of Christ, but the spiritual mechanism—receiving God's righteousness as a gift apart from human works—remains identical.

What does it mean that God saves according to foreknowledge? (Romans 8:29). It seems to me to obvious that God knows who will accept and who will reject the gospel. It's not a stretch to believe that predestination is based on that foreknowledge
Many believe that election is based on foreseen faith. This view argues that God looks ahead in time, sees who will exercise free will to believe, and then predestines them based on that future choice. This view is unbiblical, because it makes human choice the root cause of salvation.

In the context of Romans 8:29 "foreknew" (proginōskō) means "fore-loved" or intimately chosen in a relational, covenantal sense, meaning God’s active choice comes first. In Romans 8:30 Paul links foreknowledge, predestination, calling, justification, and glorification as an unbroken, guaranteed sequence where every person foreknown is ultimately glorified.

Human faith is not the trigger that causes God to choose; rather, God's prior choice and predestination result in the sinner being called and given the gift of faith.

No, Calvinism strongly teaches that man is fully accountable for his sin. Reformed theology affirms absolute divine sovereignty alongside human moral responsibility, utilizing the concepts of compatibilism and secondary causes to explain that humans freely choose to sin according to their own corrupt nature and remain entirely culpable before God.

God’s sovereign decree and meticulous control over all events work compatibly with human choices; people act out of their own internal desires and are therefore responsible for those choices.
God ordains the ultimate outcome, but humans function as the active secondary agents who commit the sin, meaning the fault rests directly on the human actor rather than God.

While humans inherit a fallen nature from Adam and lack the spiritual ability to save themselves or choose God without grace, this inability does not remove their moral obligation or guilt.
Every person sins willingly from their heart, making all judgment and punishment entirely just and deserved.

It is tragic that Calvin is remembered by Calvinists only for TULIP, when I seem to remember many good things in his Institutes other than that part, which they rarely mention.

You need to update your understanding of the debate, which is NOT between Calvin and Arminius, but rather between those who demean the omnilove and justness of God and those who celebrate it, whose flower is faith/MFW (moral free will), meaning that God initiates/teaches; sinners may cooperate/learn--or not (as y'all illustrate due to being "fallen in the flesh" per your terminology aka as being obstinate).

The cure for your myopia is love of truth, which means willingness to repent of proof-texting due to brain-washing and amend previous beliefs so they will harmonize all of Scripture (2Thes. 2:10, 1Tim. 2:3-4). This is what I did when as a Baptist believer in P/OSAS I read Scripture and discovered sixteen passages indicating the possibility of apostasy.

We MFWists urge y'all TULIPists to repent of such blasphemy/heresy: demeaning the omnilove and justness of God (Gal. 1:6-9)!

The Called in Rom 8:30

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

This call is into regeneration and it gives birth to Faith ! Thats When the elect will be Justified by Faith, the Faith following regenerative call. Note: The justification mentioned in the sequence of Romans 8:30 represents temporal justification (justification in time, through historical faith), which is the experiential manifestation of the legal and eternal phases !

Evil does not always lead to good.
I think this idea of divine determinism does not serve God well at all.
Well, there are passages of Scripture where divine determinism is the only explanation. We can attempt to understand them or move on and ignore them.

You say that evil does not always lead to Good. I wouldn't know. I'm not God. What I do know is that evil always leads to punishment, whether in this life or the next. This fact will be proof that God is righteous, good, and just.

Divine determinism does serve God well if one considers the problem of evil. The problem of evil asks how a good and sovereign God can allow evil to exist. But if God is understood not as a mere controller of events but as the Author of a morally meaningful narrative, the tension changes. Evil is not a flaw in the system; it is a narrative element that reveals God’s justice, mercy, patience, and holiness. In an authored world, every life—righteous or wicked—has meaning because each life plays a role in displaying God’s character. God is not evil for determining a world containing evil, because the evil He determines is always ordered toward a righteous narrative end. The problem of evil dissolves once one sees that God’s sovereignty is not mechanical causation but narrative authorship.

Isaiah gives a striking example of God asserting His sovereignty not merely over people but over events themselves. In Isaiah 41:21–23 and again in Isaiah 48:3–5, God declares that He announces future events beforehand “so that you cannot say, ‘My idol did them.’” The point is unmistakable: God proves His deity by demonstrating authorship over history. He does not simply react to human choices; He foretells what will happen because He determines what will happen. And for God to bring about the “big event” He predicts—whether the rise of Cyrus, the fall of Babylon, or Israel’s deliverance—He must also orchestrate every “small event” that leads to it. Prophecy is not guesswork; it is the public disclosure of a divine plan whose details are already authored. Isaiah’s argument assumes a comprehensive sovereignty: God governs the storyline at the macro level and the micro level, ensuring that every step unfolds according to His declared purpose.

God is the author of all things.
