When the tribulation starts what will you do, dig in or run to the hills flee to the wilderness?

And what scripture do you have to help you make up your mind?

we should be praying that we will not have to go through the tribulation...instead of fantasizing about it like some christians do...

Hopefully, I'd go into the battle. I don't know if the tribulation is biblical though, I don't know much about eschatology.

Yes it’s biblical.

You don’t need to know about eschatology to understand what Jesus and the disciples said.

Matt24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Acts14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, [and] exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

This tribulation.

Rv13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

I believe you would have to be in Judea.
Luke 21:21 Then let then which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

Everyone goes to the mountains in the Tribulation after the sixth seal is opened.
Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

I plan to follow the Bible step by step if the tribulation happens when I am alive. I do not see the need to flee unless you are in Judea. I believe even Christians will go with the rest of the World to the mountains after the sixth seal is opened. People move to the mountains for safety. The sixth seal even moves mountains. Revelation 6:14 "And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their place." When the sixth seal is opened there is a great earthquake and the earth is changed. People move into the mountains.

It would be easier in the tribulation to make it if you had the Bible. They might start taking Bibles away under the leadership of the Beast. I would try to hide Bibles. I also consider when Christians are not allowed to buy or sale because they do not have the mark of the Beast. We should trust in God and not take the mark of the Beast. Once you have taken the mark of the Beast you are destind for Hell with no chance to repent.

I do not believe that Christians will suffer the wrath of God. Much of the tribulation is God's wrath on the World. But I do believe we will be persucuted by the Beast and the World; not all of the Tribulation is God's wrath, some of the things in the Tribulation are from the Devil.

That was very good jonathanbchristian.
But I think the best way to keep or hide you Bible is to hide it in your heart

Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Rv12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man [child].

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

RSA, are you saying you would rather die before the Trib starts than live through it? I am not sure what you mrean by pray we do not have to go through it? I hipe you are not talking about a pretrib rapture because all the praying in the world is not going to get you rapture before the pstr trib return of Christ. God's word says so

1 timothy 2:1-2..."I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."

we should pray so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives...not plan to be 'tribulation heroes'

if you pray that we don’t have to go through the tribulation you are praying for death before the tribulation starts.

And if you are dead before the tribulation starts, then this verse is fulfilled in your ear

Revelation 3:10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
